1 Samuel 1

以法莲山地的拉玛·琐非有一个以法莲人，名叫以利加拿，是苏弗的玄孙，托户的曾孙，以利户的孙子，耶罗罕的儿子。

yǐ fǎ lián shān dì de lā mǎ · suǒ fēi yǒu yí gè yǐ fǎ lián rén ， míng jiào yǐ lì jiā ná ， shì sū fú de xuán sūn ， tuō hù de zēng sūn ， yǐ lì hù de sūn zi ， yē luó hǎn de ér zi 。

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

他有两个妻：一名哈拿，一名毗尼拿。毗尼拿有儿女，哈拿没有儿女。

tā yǒu liǎng gè qī ： yì míng hā ná ， yì míng pí ní ná 。 pí ní ná yǒu ér nǚ ， hā ná méi yǒu ér nǚ 。

He had two wives. The name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

这人每年从本城上到示罗，敬拜祭祀万军之耶和华；在那里有以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈当耶和华的祭司。

zhè rén měi nián cóng běn chéng shàng dào shì luó ， jìng bài jì sì wàn jūn zhī yē hé huá ； zài nà lǐ yǒu yǐ lì de liǎng gè ér zi hé fú ní 、 fēi ní hā dāng yē hé huá de jì sī 。

This man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD of Armies in Shiloh. The two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests to the LORD, were there.

以利加拿每逢献祭的日子，将祭肉分给他的妻毗尼拿和毗尼拿所生的儿女；

yǐ lì jiā ná měi féng xiàn jì de rì zi ， jiāng jì ròu fēn gěi tā de qī pí ní ná hé pí ní ná suǒ shēng de ér nǚ ；

When the day came that Elkanah sacrificed, he gave portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and her daughters;

给哈拿的却是双分，因为他爱哈拿。无奈耶和华不使哈拿生育。

gěi hā ná de què shì shuāng fēn ， yīn wèi tā ài hā ná 。 wú nài yē hé huá bù shǐ hā ná shēng yù 。

but he gave a double portion to Hannah, for he loved Hannah, but the LORD had shut up her womb.

毗尼拿见耶和华不使哈拿生育，就作她的对头，大大激动她，要使她生气。

pí ní ná jiàn yē hé huá bù shǐ hā ná shēng yù ， jiù zuò tā de duì tóu ， dà dà jī dòng tā ， yào shǐ tā shēng qì 。

Her rival provoked her severely, to irritate her, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

每年上到耶和华殿的时候，以利加拿都以双分给哈拿；毗尼拿仍是激动她，以致她哭泣不吃饭。

měi nián shàng dào yē hé huá diàn de shí hòu ， yǐ lì jiā ná dōu yǐ shuāng fēn gěi hā ná ； pí ní ná réng shì jī dòng tā ， yǐ zhì tā kū qì bù chī fàn 。

So year by year, when she went up to the LORD’s house, her rival provoked her. Therefore she wept, and didn’t eat.

她丈夫以利加拿对她说：「哈拿啊，你为何哭泣，不吃饭，心里愁闷呢？有我不比十个儿子还好吗？」

tā zhàng fu yǐ lì jiā ná duì tā shuō ：「 hā ná a ， nǐ wèi hé kū qì ， bù chī fàn ， xīn lǐ chóu mèn ne ？ yǒu wǒ bù bǐ shí gè ér zi hái hǎo ma ？」

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why don’t you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

他们在示罗吃喝完了，哈拿就站起来。祭司以利在耶和华殿的门框旁边，坐在自己的位上。

tā men zài shì luó chī hē wán le ， hā ná jiù zhàn qǐ lái 。 jì sī yǐ lì zài yē hé huá diàn de mén kuàng páng biān ， zuò zài zì jǐ de wèi shàng 。

So Hannah rose up after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple.

哈拿心里愁苦，就痛痛哭泣，祈祷耶和华，

hā ná xīn lǐ chóu kǔ ， jiù tòng tòng kū qì ， qí dǎo yē hé huá ，

She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly.

许愿说：「万军之耶和华啊，你若垂顾婢女的苦情，眷念不忘婢女，赐我一个儿子，我必使他终身归与耶和华，不用剃头刀剃他的头。」

xǔ yuàn shuō ：「 wàn jūn zhī yē hé huá a ， nǐ ruò chuí gù bì nǚ de kǔ qíng ， juàn niàn bú wàng bì nǚ ， cì wǒ yí gè ér zǐ ， wǒ bì shǐ tā zhōng shēn guī yǔ yē hé huá ， bú yòng tì tóu dāo tì tā de tóu 。」

She vowed a vow, and said, “LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.”

哈拿在耶和华面前不住地祈祷，以利定睛看她的嘴。（

hā ná zài yē hé huá miàn qián bú zhù dì qí dǎo ， yǐ lì dìng jīng kàn tā de zuǐ 。（

As she continued praying before the LORD, Eli saw her mouth.

原来哈拿心中默祷，只动嘴唇，不出声音，因此以利以为她喝醉了。）

yuán lái hā ná xīn zhōng mò dǎo ， zhī dòng zuǐ chún ， bù chū shēng yīn ， yīn cǐ yǐ lì yǐ wéi tā hē zuì le 。）

Now Hannah spoke in her heart. Only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk.

以利对她说：「你要醉到几时呢？你不应该喝酒。」

yǐ lì duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ yào zuì dào jǐ shí ne ？ nǐ bú yīng gāi hē jiǔ 。」

Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

哈拿回答说：「主啊，不是这样。我是心里愁苦的妇人，清酒浓酒都没有喝，但在耶和华面前倾心吐意。

hā ná huí dá shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， bú shì zhè yàng 。 wǒ shì xīn lǐ chóu kǔ de fù rén ， qīng jiǔ nóng jiǔ dōu méi yǒu hē ， dàn zài yē hé huá miàn qián qīng xīn tǔ yì 。

Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have not been drinking wine or strong drink, but I poured out my soul before the LORD.

不要将婢女看作不正经的女子。我因被人激动，愁苦太多，所以祈求到如今。」

bú yào jiāng bì nǚ kàn zuò bú zhèng jīng de nǚ zǐ 。 wǒ yīn bèi rén jī dòng ， chóu kǔ tài duō ， suǒ yǐ qí qiú dào rú jīn 。」

Don’t consider your servant a wicked woman; for I have been speaking out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation.”

以利说：「你可以平平安安地回去。愿以色列的 神允准你向他所求的！」

yǐ lì shuō ：「 nǐ kě yǐ píng píng ān ān dì huí qù 。 yuàn yǐ sè liè de shén yǔn zhǔn nǐ xiàng tā suǒ qiú de ！」

Then Eli answered, “Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him.”

哈拿说：「愿婢女在你眼前蒙恩。」于是妇人走去吃饭，面上再不带愁容了。

hā ná shuō ：「 yuàn bì nǚ zài nǐ yǎn qián méng ēn 。」 yú shì fù rén zǒu qù chī fàn ， miàn shàng zài bú dài chóu róng le 。

She said, “Let your servant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate; and her facial expression wasn’t sad any more.

次日清早，他们起来，在耶和华面前敬拜，就回拉玛。到了家里，以利加拿和妻哈拿同房，耶和华顾念哈拿，

cì rì qīng zǎo ， tā men qǐ lái ， zài yē hé huá miàn qián jìng bài ， jiù huí lā mǎ 。 dào le jiā lǐ ， yǐ lì jiā ná hé qī hā ná tóng fáng ， yē hé huá gù niàn hā ná ，

They rose up in the morning early and worshiped the LORD, then returned and came to their house to Ramah. Then Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

哈拿就怀孕。日期满足，生了一个儿子，给他起名叫撒母耳，说：「这是我从耶和华那里求来的。」

hā ná jiù huái yùn 。 rì qī mǎn zú ， shēng le yí gè ér zi ， gěi tā qǐ míng jiào sā mǔ ěr ， shuō ：「 zhè shì wǒ cóng yē hé huá nà lǐ qiú lái de 。」

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked him of the LORD.”

以利加拿和他全家都上示罗去，要向耶和华献年祭，并还所许的愿。

yǐ lì jiā ná hé tā quán jiā dōu shàng shì luó qù ， yào xiàng yē hé huá xiàn nián jì ， bìng hái suǒ xǔ de yuàn 。

The man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice and his vow.

哈拿却没有上去，对丈夫说：「等孩子断了奶，我便带他上去朝见耶和华，使他永远住在那里。」

hā ná què méi yǒu shàng qù ， duì zhàng fu shuō ：「 děng hái zi duàn le nǎi ， wǒ biàn dài tā shàng qù cháo jiàn yē hé huá ， shǐ tā yǒng yuǎn zhù zài nà lǐ 。」

But Hannah didn’t go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and stay there forever.”

她丈夫以利加拿说：「就随你的意行吧！可以等儿子断了奶。但愿耶和华应验他的话。」于是妇人在家里乳养儿子，直到断了奶；

tā zhàng fu yǐ lì jiā ná shuō ：「 jiù suí nǐ de yì xíng ba ！ kě yǐ děng ér zi duàn le nǎi 。 dàn yuàn yē hé huá yìng yàn tā de huà 。」 yú shì fù rén zài jiā lǐ rǔ yǎng ér zi ， zhí dào duàn le nǎi ；

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.

既断了奶，就把孩子带上示罗，到了耶和华的殿；又带了三只公牛，一伊法细面，一皮袋酒。（那时，孩子还小。）

jì duàn le nǎi ， jiù bǎ hái zi dài shàng shì luó ， dào le yē hé huá de diàn ； yòu dài le sān zhī gōng niú ， yì yī fǎ xì miàn ， yì pí dài jiǔ 。（ nà shí ， hái zi hái xiǎo 。）

When she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, and one ephah of meal, and a container of wine, and brought him to the LORD’s house in Shiloh. The child was young.

宰了一只公牛，就领孩子到以利面前。

zǎi le yì zhī gōng niú ， jiù lǐng hái zi dào yǐ lì miàn qián 。

They killed the bull, and brought the child to Eli.

妇人说：「主啊，我敢在你面前起誓，从前在你这里站着祈求耶和华的那妇人，就是我。

fù rén shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， wǒ gǎn zài nǐ miàn qián qǐ shì ， cóng qián zài nǐ zhè lǐ zhàn zhe qí qiú yē hé huá de nà fù rén ， jiù shì wǒ 。

She said, “Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the LORD.

我祈求为要得这孩子；耶和华已将我所求的赐给我了。

wǒ qí qiú wèi yào dé zhè hái zi ； yē hé huá yǐ jiāng wǒ suǒ qiú de cì gěi wǒ le 。

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

所以，我将这孩子归与耶和华，使他终身归与耶和华。」 于是在那里敬拜耶和华。

suǒ yǐ ， wǒ jiāng zhè hái zi guī yǔ yē hé huá ， shǐ tā zhōng shēn guī yǔ yē hé huá 。」 yú shì zài nà lǐ jìng bài yē hé huá 。

Therefore I have also given him to the LORD. As long as he lives he is given to the LORD.” He worshiped the LORD there.
