1 Samuel 13

扫罗登基年四十岁；作以色列王二年的时候，

sǎo luó dēng jī nián sì shí suì ； zuò yǐ sè liè wáng èr nián de shí hòu ，

Saul was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned over Israel forty-two years.

就从以色列中拣选了三千人：二千跟随扫罗在密抹和伯特利山，一千跟随约拿单在便雅悯的基比亚；其余的人扫罗都打发各回各家去了。

jiù cóng yǐ sè liè zhōng jiǎn xuǎn le sān qiān rén ： èr qiān gēn suí sǎo luó zài mì mǒ hé bó tè lì shān ， yì qiān gēn suí yuē ná dān zài biàn yǎ mǐn de jī bǐ yà ； qí yú de rén sǎo luó dōu dǎ fā gè huí gè jiā qù le 。

Saul chose for himself three thousand men of Israel, of which two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in the Mount of Bethel, and one thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin. He sent the rest of the people to their own tents.

约拿单攻击在迦巴的非利士人的防营，非利士人听见了。扫罗就在遍地吹角，意思说，要使希伯来人听见。

yuē ná dān gōng jī zài jiā bā de fēi lì shì rén de fáng yíng ， fēi lì shì rén tīng jiàn le 。 sǎo luó jiù zài biàn dì chuī jiǎo ， yì sī shuō ， yào shǐ xī bó lái rén tīng jiàn 。

Jonathan struck the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, “Let the Hebrews hear!”

以色列众人听见扫罗攻击非利士人的防营，又听见以色列人为非利士人所憎恶，就跟随扫罗聚集在吉甲。

yǐ sè liè zhòng rén tīng jiàn sǎo luó gōng jī fēi lì shì rén de fáng yíng ， yòu tīng jiàn yǐ sè liè rén wéi fēi lì shì rén suǒ zēng wù ， jiù gēn suí sǎo luó jù jí zài jí jiǎ 。

All Israel heard that Saul had struck the garrison of the Philistines, and also that Israel was considered an abomination to the Philistines. The people were gathered together after Saul to Gilgal.

非利士人聚集，要与以色列人争战，有车三万辆，马兵六千，步兵像海边的沙那样多，就上来在伯·亚文东边的密抹安营。

fēi lì shì rén jù jí ， yào yǔ yǐ sè liè rén zhēng zhàn ， yǒu chē sān wàn liàng ， mǎ bīng liù qiān ， bù bīng xiàng hǎi biān de shā nà yàng duō ， jiù shàng lái zài bó · yà wén dōng biān de mì mǒ ān yíng 。

The Philistines assembled themselves together to fight with Israel: thirty thousand chariots, six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, eastward of Beth Aven.

以色列百姓见自己危急窘迫，就藏在山洞、丛林、石穴、隐密处，和坑中。

yǐ sè liè bǎi xìng jiàn zì jǐ wēi jí jiǒng pò ， jiù cáng zài shān dòng 、 cóng lín 、 shí xué 、 yǐn mì chù ， hé kēng zhōng 。

When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were distressed), then the people hid themselves in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in tombs, and in pits.

有些希伯来人过了约旦河，逃到迦得和基列地。扫罗还是在吉甲，百姓都战战兢兢地跟随他。

yǒu xiē xī bó lái rén guò le yuē dàn hé ， táo dào jiā dé hé jī liè dì 。 sǎo luó hái shì zài jí jiǎ ， bǎi xìng dōu zhàn zhàn jīng jīng dì gēn suí tā 。

Now some of the Hebrews had gone over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead; but as for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.

扫罗照着撒母耳所定的日期等了七日。撒母耳还没有来到吉甲，百姓也离开扫罗散去了。

sǎo luó zhào zhe sā mǔ ěr suǒ dìng de rì qī děng le qī rì 。 sā mǔ ěr hái méi yǒu lái dào jí jiǎ ， bǎi xìng yě lí kāi sǎo luó sàn qù le 。

He stayed seven days, according to the time set by Samuel; but Samuel didn’t come to Gilgal, and the people were scattering from him.

扫罗说：「把燔祭和平安祭带到我这里来。」扫罗就献上燔祭。

sǎo luó shuō ：「 bǎ fán jì hé píng ān jì dài dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái 。」 sǎo luó jiù xiàn shàng fán jì 。

Saul said, “Bring the burnt offering to me here, and the peace offerings.” He offered the burnt offering.

刚献完燔祭，撒母耳就到了。扫罗出去迎接他，要问他好。

gāng xiàn wán fán jì ， sā mǔ ěr jiù dào le 。 sǎo luó chū qù yíng jiē tā ， yào wèn tā hǎo 。

It came to pass that as soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.

撒母耳说：「你做的是什么事呢？」扫罗说：「因为我见百姓离开我散去，你也不照所定的日期来到，而且非利士人聚集在密抹。

sā mǔ ěr shuō ：「 nǐ zuò de shì shén me shì ne ？」 sǎo luó shuō ：「 yīn wèi wǒ jiàn bǎi xìng lí kāi wǒ sàn qù ， nǐ yě bú zhào suǒ dìng de rì qī lái dào ， ér qiě fēi lì shì rén jù jí zài mì mǒ 。

Samuel said, “What have you done?” Saul said, “Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you didn’t come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines assembled themselves together at Michmash,

所以我心里说：恐怕我没有祷告耶和华。非利士人下到吉甲攻击我，我就勉强献上燔祭。」

suǒ yǐ wǒ xīn lǐ shuō ： kǒng pà wǒ méi yǒu dǎo gào yē hé huá 。 fēi lì shì rén xià dào jí jiǎ gōng jī wǒ ， wǒ jiù miǎn qiǎng xiàn shàng fán jì 。」

therefore I said, ‘Now the Philistines will come down on me to Gilgal, and I haven’t entreated the favor of the LORD.’ I forced myself therefore, and offered the burnt offering.”

撒母耳对扫罗说：「你做了糊涂事了，没有遵守耶和华—你 神所吩咐你的命令。若遵守，耶和华必在以色列中坚立你的王位，直到永远。

sā mǔ ěr duì sǎo luó shuō ：「 nǐ zuò le hú tú shì le ， méi yǒu zūn shǒu yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ fēn fù nǐ de mìng lìng 。 ruò zūn shǒu ， yē hé huá bì zài yǐ sè liè zhōng jiān lì nǐ de wáng wèi ， zhí dào yǒng yuǎn 。

Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which he commanded you; for now the LORD would have established your kingdom on Israel forever.

现在你的王位必不长久。耶和华已经寻着一个合他心意的人，立他作百姓的君，因为你没有遵守耶和华所吩咐你的。」

xiàn zài nǐ de wáng wèi bì bù cháng jiǔ 。 yē hé huá yǐ jīng xún zhe yí gè hé tā xīn yì de rén ， lì tā zuò bǎi xìng de jūn ， yīn wèi nǐ méi yǒu zūn shǒu yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù nǐ de 。」

But now your kingdom will not continue. The LORD has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and the LORD has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept that which the LORD commanded you.”

撒母耳就起来，从吉甲上到便雅悯的基比亚。 扫罗数点跟随他的，约有六百人。

sā mǔ ěr jiù qǐ lái ， cóng jí jiǎ shàng dào biàn yǎ mǐn de jī bǐ yà 。 sǎo luó shù diǎn gēn suí tā de ， yuē yǒu liù bǎi rén 。

Samuel arose, and went from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. Saul counted the people who were present with him, about six hundred men.

扫罗和他儿子约拿单，并跟随他们的人，都住在便雅悯的迦巴；但非利士人安营在密抹。

sǎo luó hé tā ér zi yuē ná dān ， bìng gēn suí tā men de rén ， dōu zhù zài biàn yǎ mǐn de jiā bā ； dàn fēi lì shì rén ān yíng zài mì mǒ 。

Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people who were present with them, stayed in Geba of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

有掠兵从非利士营中出来，分为三队：一队往俄弗拉向书亚地去，

yǒu lüè bīng cóng fēi lì shì yíng zhōng chū lái ， fēn wéi sān duì ： yí duì wǎng é fú lā xiàng shū yà dì qù ，

The raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned to the way that leads to Ophrah, to the land of Shual;

一队往伯·和 去，一队往洗波音谷对面的地境向旷野去。

yí duì wǎng bó · hé qù ， yí duì wǎng xǐ bō yīn gǔ duì miàn de dì jìng xiàng kuàng yě qù 。

another company turned the way to Beth Horon; and another company turned the way of the border that looks down on the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

那时，以色列全地没有一个铁匠；因为非利士人说，恐怕希伯来人制造刀枪。

nà shí ， yǐ sè liè quán dì méi yǒu yí gè tiě jiàng ； yīn wèi fēi lì shì rén shuō ， kǒng pà xī bó lái rén zhì zào dāo qiāng 。

Now there was no blacksmith found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make themselves swords or spears”;

以色列人要磨锄、犁、斧、铲，就下到非利士人那里去磨。

yǐ sè liè rén yào mó chú 、 lí 、 fǔ 、 chǎn ， jiù xià dào fēi lì shì rén nà lǐ qù mó 。

but all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, each man to sharpen his own plowshare, mattock, ax, and sickle.

但有锉可以锉铲、犁、三齿叉、斧子，并赶牛锥。

dàn yǒu cuò kě yǐ cuò chǎn 、 lí 、 sān chǐ chā 、 fǔ zǐ ， bìng gǎn niú zhuī 。

The price was one payim each to sharpen mattocks, plowshares, pitchforks, axes, and goads.

所以到了争战的日子，跟随扫罗和约拿单的人没有一个手里有刀有枪的，惟独扫罗和他儿子约拿单有。

suǒ yǐ dào le zhēng zhàn de rì zi ， gēn suí sǎo luó hé yuē ná dān de rén méi yǒu yí gè shǒu lǐ yǒu dāo yǒu qiāng de ， wéi dú sǎo luó hé tā ér zi yuē ná dān yǒu 。

So it came to pass in the day of battle that neither sword nor spear was found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan; but Saul and Jonathan his son had them.

非利士人的一队防兵到了密抹的隘口。

fēi lì shì rén de yí duì fáng bīng dào le mì mǒ de ài kǒu 。

The garrison of the Philistines went out to the pass of Michmash.
