Genesis 36

以扫就是以东，他的后代记在下面。

yǐ sǎo jiù shì yǐ dōng ， tā de hòu dài jì zài xià miàn 。

Now this is the history of the generations of Esau (that is, Edom).

以扫娶迦南的女子为妻，就是赫人以伦的女儿亚大和希未人祭便的孙女、亚拿的女儿阿何利巴玛，

yǐ sǎo qǔ jiā nán de nǚ zǐ wèi qī ， jiù shì hè rén yǐ lún de nǚ ér yà dà hé xī wèi rén jì biàn de sūn nǚ 、 yà ná de nǚ ér ā hé lì bā mǎ ，

Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon, the Hittite; and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, the Hivite;

又娶了以实玛利的女儿、尼拜约的妹子巴实抹。

yòu qǔ le yǐ shí mǎ lì de nǚ ér 、 ní bài yuē de mèi zǐ bā shí mǒ 。

and Basemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebaioth.

亚大给以扫生了以利法；巴实抹生了流珥；

yà dà gěi yǐ sǎo shēng le yǐ lì fǎ ； bā shí mǒ shēng le liú ěr ；

Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz. Basemath bore Reuel.

阿何利巴玛生了耶乌施、雅兰、可拉。这都是以扫的儿子，是在迦南地生的。

ā hé lì bā mǎ shēng le yē wū shī 、 yǎ lán 、 kě lā 。 zhè dōu shì yǐ sǎo de ér zi ， shì zài jiā nán dì shēng de 。

Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.

以扫带着他的妻子、儿女，与家中一切的人口，并他的牛羊、牲畜，和一切货财，就是他在迦南地所得的，往别处去，离了他兄弟雅各。

yǐ sǎo dài zhe tā de qī zǐ 、 ér nǚ ， yǔ jiā zhōng yí qiè de rén kǒu ， bìng tā de niú yáng 、 shēng chù ， hé yí qiè huò cái ， jiù shì tā zài jiā nán dì suǒ dé de ， wǎng bié chù qù ， lí le tā xiōng dì yǎ gè 。

Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, with his livestock, all his animals, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan, and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.

因为二人的财物群畜甚多，寄居的地方容不下他们，所以不能同居。

yīn wèi èr rén de cái wù qún chù shèn duō ， jì jū de dì fāng róng bú xià tā men ， suǒ yǐ bù néng tóng jū 。

For their substance was too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their travels couldn’t bear them because of their livestock.

于是以扫住在西珥山里；以扫就是以东。

yú shì yǐ sǎo zhù zài xī ěr shān lǐ ； yǐ sǎo jiù shì yǐ dōng 。

Esau lived in the hill country of Seir. Esau is Edom.

以扫是西珥山里以东人的始祖，他的后代记在下面。

yǐ sǎo shì xī ěr shān lǐ yǐ dōng rén de shǐ zǔ ， tā de hòu dài jì zài xià miàn 。

This is the history of the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir:

以扫众子的名字如下。以扫的妻子亚大生以利法；以扫的妻子巴实抹生流珥。

yǐ sǎo zhòng zǐ de míng zì rú xià 。 yǐ sǎo de qī zǐ yà dà shēng yǐ lì fǎ ； yǐ sǎo de qī zǐ bā shí mǒ shēng liú ěr 。

these are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, the wife of Esau; and Reuel, the son of Basemath, the wife of Esau.

以利法的儿子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦、基纳斯。

yǐ lì fǎ de ér zi shì tí màn 、 ā mǒ 、 xǐ bō 、 jiā tǎn 、 jī nà sī 。

The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

亭纳是以扫儿子以利法的妾；她给以利法生了亚玛力。这是以扫的妻子亚大的子孙。

tíng nà shì yǐ sǎo ér zi yǐ lì fǎ de qiè ； tā gěi yǐ lì fǎ shēng le yà mǎ lì 。 zhè shì yǐ sǎo de qī zǐ yà dà de zǐ sūn 。

Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau’s son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the descendants of Adah, Esau’s wife.

流珥的儿子是拿哈、谢拉、沙玛、米撒。这是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。

liú ěr de ér zi shì ná hā 、 xiè lā 、 shā mǎ 、 mǐ sā 。 zhè shì yǐ sǎo qī zǐ bā shí mǒ de zǐ sūn 。

These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the descendants of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛是祭便的孙女，亚拿的女儿；她给以扫生了耶乌施、雅兰、可拉。

yǐ sǎo de qī zǐ ā hé lì bā mǎ shì jì biàn de sūn nǚ ， yà ná de nǚ ér ； tā gěi yǐ sǎo shēng le yē wū shī 、 yǎ lán 、 kě lā 。

These were the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: she bore to Esau Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

以扫子孙中作族长的记在下面。以扫的长子以利法的子孙中，有提幔族长、阿抹族长、洗玻族长、基纳斯族长、

yǐ sǎo zǐ sūn zhōng zuò zú zhǎng de jì zài xià miàn 。 yǐ sǎo de zhǎng zǐ yǐ lì fǎ de zǐ sūn zhōng ， yǒu tí màn zú zhǎng 、 ā mǒ zú zhǎng 、 xǐ bō zú zhǎng 、 jī nà sī zú zhǎng 、

These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,

可拉族长、迦坦族长、亚玛力族长。这是在以东地从以利法所出的族长，都是亚大的子孙。

kě lā zú zhǎng 、 jiā tǎn zú zhǎng 、 yà mǎ lì zú cháng 。 zhè shì zài yǐ dōng dì cóng yǐ lì fǎ suǒ chū de zú zhǎng ， dōu shì yà dà de zǐ sūn 。

chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek. These are the chiefs who came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.

以扫的儿子流珥的子孙中，有拿哈族长、谢拉族长、沙玛族长、米撒族长。这是在以东地从流珥所出的族长，都是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。

yǐ sǎo de ér zi liú ěr de zǐ sūn zhōng ， yǒu ná hā zú zhǎng 、 xiè lā zú zhǎng 、 shā mǎ zú zhǎng 、 mǐ sā zú zhǎng 。 zhè shì zài yǐ dōng dì cóng liú ěr suǒ chū de zú zhǎng ， dōu shì yǐ sǎo qī zǐ bā shí mǒ de zǐ sūn 。

These are the sons of Reuel, Esau’s son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah. These are the chiefs who came of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛的子孙中，有耶乌施族长、雅兰族长、可拉族长。这是从以扫妻子，亚拿的女儿，阿何利巴玛子孙中所出的族长。

yǐ sǎo de qī zǐ ā hé lì bā mǎ de zǐ sūn zhōng ， yǒu yē wū shī zú zhǎng 、 yǎ lán zú zhǎng 、 kě lā zú zhǎng 。 zhè shì cóng yǐ sǎo qī zǐ ， yà ná de nǚ ér ， ā hé lì bā mǎ zǐ sūn zhōng suǒ chū de zú zhǎng 。

These are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau’s wife: chief Jeush, chief Jalam, chief Korah. These are the chiefs who came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

以上的族长都是以扫的子孙；以扫就是以东。

yǐ shàng de zú zhǎng dōu shì yǐ sǎo de zǐ sūn ； yǐ sǎo jiù shì yǐ dōng 。

These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their chiefs.

那地原有的居民—何利人西珥的子孙记在下面：就是罗坍、朔巴、祭便、亚拿、

nà dì yuán yǒu de jū mín — hé lì rén xī ěr de zǐ sūn jì zài xià miàn ： jiù shì luó tān 、 shuò bā 、 jì biàn 、 yà ná 、

These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

底顺、以察、底珊。这是从以东地的何利人西珥子孙中所出的族长。

dǐ shùn 、 yǐ chá 、 dǐ shān 。 zhè shì cóng yǐ dōng dì de hé lì rén xī ěr zǐ sūn zhōng suǒ chū de zú zhǎng 。

Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

罗坍的儿子是何利、希幔；罗坍的妹子是亭纳。

luó tān de ér zi shì hé lì 、 xī màn ； luó tān de mèi zǐ shì tíng nà 。

The children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. Lotan’s sister was Timna.

朔巴的儿子是亚勒文、玛拿辖、以巴录、示玻、阿南。

shuò bā de ér zi shì yà lè wén 、 mǎ ná xiá 、 yǐ bā lù 、 shì bō 、 ā nán 。

These are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

祭便的儿子是亚雅、亚拿（当时在旷野放他父亲祭便的驴，遇着温泉的，就是这亚拿）。

jì biàn de ér zi shì yà yǎ 、 yà ná （ dāng shí zài kuàng yě fàng tā fù qīn jì biàn de lǘ ， yù zhe wēn quán de ， jiù shì zhè yà ná ）。

These are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.

亚拿的儿子是底顺；亚拿的女儿是阿何利巴玛。

yà ná de ér zi shì dǐ shùn ； yà ná de nǚ ér shì ā hé lì bā mǎ 。

These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah.

底顺的儿子是欣但、伊是班、益兰、基兰。

dǐ shùn de ér zi shì xīn dàn 、 yī shì bān 、 yì lán 、 jī lán 。

These are the children of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

以察的儿子是辟罕、撒番、亚干。

yǐ chá de ér zi shì pì hǎn 、 sā fān 、 yà gān 。

These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.

底珊的儿子是乌斯、亚兰。

dǐ shān de ér zi shì wū sī 、 yà lán 。

These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

从何利人所出的族长记在下面：就是罗坍族长、朔巴族长、祭便族长、亚拿族长、

These are the chiefs who came of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,

底顺族长、以察族长、底珊族长。这是从何利人所出的族长，都在西珥地，按着宗族作族长。

dǐ shùn zú zhǎng 、 yǐ chá zú zhǎng 、 dǐ shān zú zhǎng 。 zhè shì cóng hé lì rén suǒ chū de zú zhǎng ， dōu zài xī ěr dì ， àn zhe zōng zú zuò zú zhǎng 。

chief Dishon, chief Ezer, and chief Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.

以色列人未有君王治理以先，在以东地作王的记在下面。

yǐ sè liè rén wèi yǒu jūn wáng zhì lǐ yǐ xiān ， zài yǐ dōng dì zuò wáng de jì zài xià miàn 。

These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before any king reigned over the children of Israel.

比珥的儿子比拉在以东作王，他的京城名叫亭哈巴。

bǐ ěr de ér zi bǐ lā zài yǐ dōng zuò wáng ， tā de jīng chéng míng jiào tíng hā bā 。

Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom. The name of his city was Dinhabah.

比拉死了，波斯拉人谢拉的儿子约巴接续他作王。

bǐ lā sǐ le ， bō sī lā rén xiè lā de ér zi yuē bā jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his place.

约巴死了，提幔地的人户珊接续他作王。

yuē bā sǐ le ， tí màn dì de rén hù shān jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

户珊死了，比达的儿子哈达接续他作王；这哈达就是在摩押地杀败米甸人的，他的京城名叫亚未得。

hù shān sǐ le ， bǐ dá de ér zi hǎ dá jiē xù tā zuò wáng ； zhè hā dá jiù shì zài mó yā dì shā bài mǐ diàn rén de ， tā de jīng chéng míng jiào yà wèi dé 。

Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.

哈达死了，玛士利加人桑拉接续他作王。

hǎ dá sǐ le ， mǎ shì lì jiā rén sāng lā jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.

Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the river, reigned in his place.

Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.

Baal Hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his place. The name of his city was Pau. His wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

These are the names of the chiefs who came from Esau, according to their families, after their places, and by their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,

阿何利巴玛族长、以拉族长、比嫩族长、

ā hé lì bā mǎ zú zhǎng 、 yǐ lā zú zhǎng 、 bǐ nèn zú zhǎng 、

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

基纳斯族长、提幔族长、米比萨族长、

jī nà sī zú zhǎng 、 tí màn zú zhǎng 、 mǐ bǐ sà zú zhǎng 、

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

玛基叠族长、以兰族长。这是以东人在所得为业的地上，按着他们的住处。（所有的族长都是以东人的始祖以扫的后代。）

mǎ jī dié zú cháng 、 yǐ lán zú zhǎng 。 zhè shì yǐ dōng rén zài suǒ dé wèi yè de dì shàng ， àn zhe tā men de zhù chù 。（ suǒ yǒu de zú zhǎng dōu shì yǐ dōng rén de shǐ zǔ yǐ sǎo de hòu dài 。）

chief Magdiel, and chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau, the father of the Edomites.
