yuán lái qián yuē yǒu lǐ bài de tiáo lì hé shǔ shì jiè de shèng mù 。

Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary.

yīn wèi yǒu yù bèi de zhàng mù , tóu yì céng jiào zuò shèng suǒ , lǐ miàn yǒu dēng tái 、 zhuō zi , hé chén shè bǐng 。

For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread, which is called the Holy Place.

dì èr màn zǐ hòu yòu yǒu yì céng zhàng mù , jiào zuò zhì shèng suǒ ,

After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,

yǒu jīn xiāng lú , yǒu bāo jīn de yuē guì , guì lǐ yǒu shèng ma nǎ de jīn guàn hé yà lún fā guò yá de zhàng , bìng liǎng kuài yuē bǎn ;

having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

guì shàng miàn yǒu róng yào jī lù bó de yǐng zhào zhe shī ēn zuò 。 zhè jǐ jiàn wǒ xiàn zài bù néng yī yī xì shuō 。

and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.

zhè xiē wù jiàn jì rú cǐ yù bèi qí le , zhòng jì sī jiù cháng jìn tóu yì céng zhàng mù , xíng bài shén de lǐ 。

Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,

zhì yú dì èr céng zhàng mù , wéi yǒu dà jì sī yì nián yí cì dú zì jìn qù , méi yǒu bú dài zhe xuè wèi zì jǐ hé bǎi xìng de guò cuò xiàn shàng 。

but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people.

shèng líng yòng cǐ zhǐ míng , tóu yì céng zhàng mù réng cún de shí hòu , jìn rù zhì shèng suǒ de lù hái wèi xiǎn míng 。

The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.

nà tóu yì céng zhàng mù zuò xiàn jīn de yí gè biǎo yàng , suǒ xiàn de lǐ wù hé jì wù , jiù zhe liáng xīn shuō , dōu bù néng jiào lǐ bài de rén dé yǐ wán quán 。

This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,

zhè xiē shì , lián nà yǐn shí hé zhū bān xǐ zhuó de guī jǔ , dōu bú guò shì shǔ ròu tǐ de tiáo lì , mìng dìng dào zhèn xīng de shí hòu wéi zhǐ 。

being only (with foods and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.

dàn xiàn zài jī dū yǐ jīng lái dào , zuò le jiāng lái měi shì de dà jì sī , jīng guò nà gèng dà gèng quán bèi de zhàng mù , bú shì rén shǒu suǒ zào , yě bú shì shǔ hū zhè shì jiè de ;

But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,

bìng qiě bú yòng shān yáng hé niú dú de xuè , nǎi yòng zì jǐ de xuè , zhī yí cì jìn rù shèng suǒ , chéng le yǒng yuǎn shú zuì de shì 。

nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.

ruò shān yáng hé gōng niú de xuè , bìng mǔ niú dú de huī , sǎ zài bù jié de rén shēn shàng , shàng qiě jiào rén chéng shèng , shēn tǐ jié jìng ,

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,

hé kuàng jī dū jiè zhe yǒng yuǎn de líng , jiāng zì jǐ wú xiá wú cī xiàn gěi shén , tā de xuè qǐ bú gèng néng xǐ jìng nǐ men de xīn , chú qù nǐ men de sǐ xíng , shǐ nǐ men shì fèng nà yǒng shēng shén ma ?

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

便

wèi cǐ , tā zuò le xīn yuē de zhōng bǎo , jì rán shòu sǐ shú le rén zài qián yuē zhī shí suǒ fàn de zuì guo , biàn jiào méng zhào zhī rén dé zhe suǒ yīng xǔ yǒng yuǎn de chǎn yè 。

For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

fán yǒu yí mìng bì xū děng dào liú yí mìng de rén sǐ le ;

For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it.

yīn wèi rén sǐ le , yí mìng cái yǒu xiào lì , ruò liú yí mìng de shàng zài , nà yí mìng hái yǒu yòng chu ma ?

For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.

suǒ yǐ , qián yuē yě bú shì bú yòng xuè lì de ;

Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.

yīn wèi mó xī dāng rì zhào zhe lǜ fǎ jiāng gè yàng jiè mìng chuán gěi zhòng bǎi xìng , jiù ná zhū hóng sè róng hé niú xī cǎo , bǎ niú dú shān yáng de xuè hé shuǐ sǎ zài shū shàng , yòu sǎ zài zhòng bǎi xìng shēn shàng , shuō :

For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

。」

「 zhè xuè jiù shì shén yǔ nǐ men lì yuē de píng jù 。」

saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.”

tā yòu zhào yàng bǎ xuè sǎ zài zhàng mù hé gè yàng qì mǐn shàng 。

He sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood.

àn zhe lǜ fǎ , fán wù chà bù duō dōu shì yòng xuè jié jìng de ; ruò bù liú xuè , zuì jiù bù dé shè miǎn le 。

According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

zhào zhe tiān shàng yàng shì zuò de wù jiàn bì xū yòng zhè xiē jì wù qù jié jìng ; dàn nà tiān shàng de běn wù zì rán dāng yòng gèng měi de jì wù qù jié jìng 。

It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

),

yīn wèi jī dū bìng bú shì jìn le rén shǒu suǒ zào de shèng suǒ ( zhè bú guò shì zhēn shèng suǒ de yǐng xiāng ), nǎi shì jìn le tiān táng , rú jīn wèi wǒ men xiǎn zài shén miàn qián ;

For Christ hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

yě bú shì duō cì jiāng zì jǐ xiàn shàng , xiàng nà dà jì sī měi nián dài zhe niú yáng de xuè jìn rù shèng suǒ ,

nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,

rú guǒ zhè yàng , tā cóng chuàng shì yǐ lái , jiù bì duō cì shòu kǔ le 。 dàn rú jīn zài zhè mò shì xiǎn xiàn yí cì , bǎ zì jǐ xiàn wèi jì , hǎo chú diào zuì 。

or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

àn zhe dìng mìng , rén rén dōu yǒu yì sǐ , sǐ hòu qiě yǒu shěn pàn 。

Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,

xiàng zhè yàng , jī dū jì rán yí cì bèi xiàn , dān dāng le duō rén de zuì , jiāng lái yào xiàng nà děng hòu tā de rén dì èr cì xiǎn xiàn , bìng yǔ zuì wú guān , nǎi shì wèi zhěng jiù tā men 。

so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
