Isaiah 41

zhòng hǎi dǎo a , dāng zài wǒ miàn qián jìng mò ; zhòng mín dāng cóng xīn dé lì , dōu yào jìn qián lái cái kě yǐ shuō huà , wǒ men kě yǐ bǐ cǐ biàn lùn 。

“Keep silent before me, islands, and let the peoples renew their strength. Let them come near, then let them speak. Let’s meet together for judgment.

使

shuí cóng dōng fāng xīng qǐ yì rén , píng gōng yì zhào tā lái dào jiǎo qián ne ? yē hé huá jiāng liè guó jiāo gěi tā , shǐ tā guǎn xiá jūn wáng , bǎ tā men rú huī chén jiāo yǔ tā de dāo , rú fēng chuī de suì jiē jiāo yǔ tā de gōng 。

Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his feet in righteousness? He hands over nations to him and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.

tā zhuī gǎn tā men , zǒu tā suǒ wèi zǒu de dào , tǎn rán qián xíng 。

He pursues them and passes by safely, even by a way that he had not gone with his feet.

shuí xíng zuò chéng jiù zhè shì , cóng qǐ chū xuān zhào lì dài ne ? jiù shì wǒ — yē hé huá ! wǒ shì shǒu xiān de , yě yǔ mò hòu de tóng zài 。

Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the LORD, the first, and with the last, I am he.”

hǎi dǎo kàn jiàn jiù dōu hài pà ; dì jí yě dōu zhàn jīng , jiù jìn qián lái 。

The islands have seen, and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach, and come.

tā men gè rén bāng zhù lín shè , gè rén duì dì xiong shuō : zhuàng dǎn ba !

Everyone helps his neighbor. They say to their brothers, “Be strong!”

mù jiàng miǎn lì yín jiàng , yòng chuí dǎ guāng de miǎn lì dǎ zhēn de , lùn hàn gōng shuō , hàn dé hǎo ; yòu yòng dīng zi dīng wěn , miǎn de ǒu xiàng dòng yáo 。

So the carpenter encourages the goldsmith. He who smooths with the hammer encourages him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, “It is good;” and he fastens it with nails, that it might not totter.

wéi nǐ yǐ sè liè — wǒ de pú rén , yǎ gè — wǒ suǒ jiǎn xuǎn de , wǒ péng yǒu yà bó lā hǎn de hòu yì ,

“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham my friend,

nǐ shì wǒ cóng dì jí suǒ lǐng lái de , cóng dì jiǎo suǒ zhào lái de , qiě duì nǐ shuō : nǐ shì wǒ de pú rén ; wǒ jiǎn xuǎn nǐ , bìng bú qì jué nǐ 。

you whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not cast you away.’

nǐ bú yào hài pà , yīn wèi wǒ yǔ nǐ tóng zài ; bú yào jīng huáng , yīn wèi wǒ shì nǐ de shén 。 wǒ bì jiān gù nǐ , wǒ bì bāng zhù nǐ ; wǒ bì yòng wǒ gōng yì de yòu shǒu fú chí nǐ 。

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

fán xiàng nǐ fā nù de bì dōu bào kuì méng xiū ; yǔ nǐ xiāng zhēng de bì rú wú yǒu , bìng yào miè wáng 。

Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.

yǔ nǐ zhēng jìng de , nǐ yào zhǎo tā men yě zhǎo bù zhe ; yǔ nǐ zhēng zhàn de bì rú wú yǒu , chéng wéi xū wú 。

You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.

yīn wèi wǒ yē hé huá — nǐ de shén bì chān fú nǐ de yòu shǒu , duì nǐ shuō : bú yào hài pà ! wǒ bì bāng zhù nǐ 。

For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’

nǐ zhè chóng yǎ gè hé nǐ men yǐ sè liè rén , bú yào hài pà ! yē hé huá shuō : wǒ bì bāng zhù nǐ 。 nǐ de jiù shú zhǔ jiù shì yǐ sè liè de shèng zhě 。

Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says the LORD. “Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

使 齿使

kàn nǎ , wǒ yǐ shǐ nǐ chéng wéi yǒu kuài chǐ dǎ liáng de xīn qì jù ; nǐ yào bǎ shān lǐng dǎ dé fěn suì , shǐ gāng líng rú tóng kāng bǐ 。

Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.

耀

nǐ yào bǎ tā bò yáng , fēng yào chuī qù ; xuán fēng yào bǎ tā guā sàn 。 nǐ dǎo yào yǐ yē hé huá wèi xǐ lè , yǐ yǐ sè liè de shèng zhě wèi kuā yào 。

You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in the LORD. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

kùn kǔ qióng fá rén xún qiú shuǐ què méi yǒu ; tā men yīn kǒu kě , shé tou gān zào 。 wǒ — yē hé huá bì yīng yǔn tā men ; wǒ — yǐ sè liè de shén bì bù lí qì tā men 。

The poor and needy seek water, and there is none. Their tongue fails for thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

使使

wǒ yào zài jìng guāng de gāo chù kāi jiāng hé , zài gǔ zhōng kāi quán yuán ; wǒ yào shǐ shā mò biàn wèi shuǐ chí , shǐ gān dì biàn wèi yǒng quán 。

I will open rivers on the bare heights, and springs in the middle of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

wǒ yào zài kuàng yě zhǒng shàng xiāng bǎi shù 、 zào jiá shù 、 fān shí liú shù , hé yě gǎn lǎn shù 。 wǒ zài shā mò yào bǎ sōng shù 、 shān shù , bìng huáng yáng shù yì tóng zāi zhí ;

I will put cedar, acacia, myrtle, and oil trees in the wilderness. I will set cypress trees, pine, and box trees together in the desert;

hǎo jiào rén kàn jiàn 、 zhī dào 、 sī xiǎng 、 míng bái ; zhè shì yē hé huá de shǒu suǒ zuò de , shì yǐ sè liè de shèng zhě suǒ zào de 。

that they may see, know, consider, and understand together, that the LORD’s hand has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

yē hé huá duì jiǎ shén shuō : nǐ men yào chéng shàng nǐ men de àn jiàn ; yǎ gè de jūn shuō : nǐ men yào shēng míng nǐ men què shí de lǐ yóu 。

Produce your cause,” says the LORD. “Bring out your strong reasons!” says the King of Jacob.

kě yǐ shēng míng , zhǐ shì wǒ men jiāng lái bì yù de shì , shuō míng xiān qián de shì shén me shì , hǎo jiào wǒ men sī suǒ , dé zhī shì de jié jú , huò zhě bǎ jiāng lái de shì zhǐ shì wǒ men 。

“Let them announce and declare to us what will happen! Declare the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or show us things to come.

使

yào shuō míng hòu lái de shì , hǎo jiào wǒ men zhī dào nǐ men shì shén 。 nǐ men huò jiàng fú , huò jiàng huò , shǐ wǒ men jīng qí , yì tóng guān kàn 。

Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods. Yes, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and see it together.

kàn nǎ , nǐ men shǔ hū xū wú ; nǐ men de zuò wéi yě shǔ hū xū kōng 。 nà xuǎn zé nǐ men de shì kě zēng wù de 。

Behold, you are nothing, and your work is nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination.

仿

wǒ cóng běi fāng xīng qǐ yì rén ; tā shì qiú gào wǒ míng de , cóng rì chū zhī dì ér lái 。 tā bì lín dào zhǎng quán de , hǎo xiàng lín dào huī ní , fǎng fú yáo jiàng chuài ní yí yàng 。

“I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

使使

shuí cóng qǐ chū zhǐ míng zhè shì , shǐ wǒ men zhī dào ne ? shuí cóng xiān qián shuō míng , shǐ wǒ men shuō tā bú cuò ne ? shuí yě méi yǒu zhǐ míng ; shuí yě méi yǒu shuō míng ; shuí yě méi yǒu tīng jiàn nǐ men de huà 。

Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? and before, that we may say, ‘He is right’? Surely, there is no one who declares. Surely, there is no one who shows. Surely, there is no one who hears your words.

wǒ shǒu xiān duì xī ān shuō : kàn nǎ , wǒ yào jiāng yí wèi bào hǎo xìn xī de cì gěi yē lù sā lěng 。

I am the first to say to Zion, ‘Behold, look at them;’ and I will give one who brings good news to Jerusalem.

wǒ kàn de shí hòu bìng méi yǒu rén ; wǒ wèn de shí hòu , tā men zhōng jiān yě méi yǒu móu shì kě yǐ huí dá yí jù 。

When I look, there is no man, even among them there is no counselor who, when I ask, can answer a word.

kàn nǎ , tā men hé tā men de gōng zuò dōu shì xū kōng , qiě shì xū wú 。 tā men suǒ zhù de ǒu xiàng dōu shì fēng , dōu shì xū de 。

Behold, all of their deeds are vanity and nothing. Their molten images are wind and confusion.
