Isaiah 40

你们的 神说： 你们要安慰，安慰我的百姓。

nǐ men de shén shuō ： nǐ men yào ān wèi ， ān wèi wǒ de bǎi xìng 。

“Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.

要对耶路撒冷说安慰的话， 又向她宣告说， 她争战的日子已满了； 她的罪孽赦免了； 她为自己的一切罪， 从耶和华手中加倍受罚。

yào duì yē lù sā lěng shuō ān wèi de huà ， yòu xiàng tā xuān gào shuō ， tā zhēng zhàn de rì zi yǐ mǎn le ； tā de zuì niè shè miǎn le ； tā wèi zì jǐ de yí qiè zuì ， cóng yē hé huá shǒu zhōng jiā bèi shòu fá 。

“Speak comfortably to Jerusalem, and call out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.”

有人声喊着说： 在旷野预备耶和华的路 ， 在沙漠地修平我们 神的道。

yǒu rén shēng hǎn zhe shuō ： zài kuàng yě yù bèi yē hé huá de lù ， zài shā mò dì xiū píng wǒ men shén de dào 。

The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of the LORD in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.

一切山洼都要填满， 大小山冈都要削平； 高高低低的要改为平坦， 崎崎岖岖的必成为平原。

yí qiè shān wā dōu yào tián mǎn ， dà xiǎo shān gāng dōu yào xiāo píng ； gāo gāo dī dī de yào gǎi wéi píng tǎn ， qí qí qū qū de bì chéng wéi píng yuán 。

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain.

耶和华的荣耀必然显现； 凡有血气的必一同看见； 因为这是耶和华亲口说的。

yē hé huá de róng yào bì rán xiǎn xiàn ； fán yǒu xuè qì de bì yì tóng kàn jiàn ； yīn wèi zhè shì yē hé huá qīn kǒu shuō de 。

The LORD’s glory shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.”

有人声说：你喊叫吧！ 有一个说：我喊叫什么呢？ 说：凡有血气的尽都如草； 他的美容都像野地的花。

yǒu rén shēng shuō ： nǐ hǎn jiào ba ！ yǒu yí gè shuō ： wǒ hǎn jiào shén me ne ？ shuō ： fán yǒu xuè qì de jìn dōu rú cǎo ； tā de měi róng dōu xiàng yě dì de huā 。

The voice of one saying, “Cry out!” One said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.

草必枯干，花必凋残， 因为耶和华的气吹在其上； 百姓诚然是草。

cǎo bì kū gān ， huā bì diāo cán ， yīn wèi yē hé huá de qì chuī zài qí shàng ； bǎi xìng chéng rán shì cǎo 。

The grass withers, the flower fades, because the LORD’s breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.

草必枯干，花必凋残， 惟有我们 神的话必永远立定。

cǎo bì kū gān ， huā bì diāo cán ， wéi yǒu wǒ men shén de huà bì yǒng yuǎn lì dìng 。

The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever.”

报好信息给锡安的啊， 你要登高山； 报好信息给耶路撒冷的啊， 你要极力扬声。 扬声不要惧怕， 对犹大的城邑说： 看哪，你们的 神！

bào hǎo xìn xī gěi xī ān de a ， nǐ yào dēng gāo shān ； bào hǎo xìn xī gěi yē lù sā lěng de a ， nǐ yào jí lì yáng shēng 。 yáng shēng bú yào jù pà ， duì yóu dà de chéng yì shuō ： kàn nǎ ， nǐ men de shén ！

You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength! Lift it up! Don’t be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold, your God!”

主耶和华必像大能者临到； 他的膀臂必为他掌权。 他的赏赐在他那里； 他的报应在他面前。

zhǔ yē hé huá bì xiàng dà néng zhě lín dào ； tā de bǎng bì bì wèi tā zhǎng quán 。 tā de shǎng cì zài tā nà lǐ ； tā de bào yìng zài tā miàn qián 。

Behold, the Lord GOD will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

他必像牧人牧养自己的羊群， 用膀臂聚集羊羔抱在怀中， 慢慢引导那乳养小羊的。

tā bì xiàng mù rén mù yǎng zì jǐ de yáng qún ， yòng bǎng bì jù jí yáng gāo bào zài huái zhōng ， màn màn yǐn dǎo nà rǔ yǎng xiǎo yáng de 。

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.

谁曾用手心量诸水， 用手虎口量苍天， 用升斗盛大地的尘土， 用秤称山岭， 用天平平冈陵呢？

shuí céng yòng shǒu xīn liáng zhū shuǐ ， yòng shǒu hǔ kǒu liáng cāng tiān ， yòng shēng dòu shèng dà dì de chén tǔ ， yòng chèng chēng shān lǐng ， yòng tiān píng píng gāng líng ne ？

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measuring basket, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

谁曾测度耶和华的心 ， 或作他的谋士指教他呢？

shuí céng cè dù yē hé huá de xīn ， huò zuò tā de móu shì zhǐ jiào tā ne ？

Who has directed the LORD’s Spirit, or has taught him as his counselor?

他与谁商议，谁教导他， 谁将公平的路指示他， 又将知识教训他， 将通达的道指教他呢？

tā yǔ shuí shāng yì ， shuí jiào dǎo tā ， shuí jiāng gōng píng de lù zhǐ shì tā ， yòu jiāng zhī shi jiào xùn tā ， jiāng tōng dá de dào zhǐ jiào tā ne ？

Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?

看哪，万民都像水桶的一滴， 又算如天平上的微尘； 他举起众海岛，好像极微之物。

kàn nǎ ， wàn mín dōu xiàng shuǐ tǒng de yì dī ， yòu suàn rú tiān píng shàng de wēi chén ； tā jǔ qǐ zhòng hǎi dǎo ， hǎo xiàng jí wēi zhī wù 。

Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance. Behold, he lifts up the islands like a very little thing.

黎巴嫩的树林不够当柴烧； 其中的走兽也不够作燔祭。

lí bā nèn de shù lín bú gòu dāng chái shāo ； qí zhōng de zǒu shòu yě bú gòu zuò fán jì 。

Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its animals sufficient for a burnt offering.

万民在他面前好像虚无， 被他看为不及虚无，乃为虚空。

wàn mín zài tā miàn qián hǎo xiàng xū wú ， bèi tā kàn wèi bù jí xū wú ， nǎi wèi xū kōng 。

All the nations are like nothing before him. They are regarded by him as less than nothing, and vanity.

你们究竟将谁比 神， 用什么形象与 神比较呢？

nǐ men jiū jìng jiāng shuí bǐ shén ， yòng shén me xíng xiàng yǔ shén bǐ jiào ne ？

To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to him?

偶像是匠人铸造， 银匠用金包裹， 为它铸造银链。

ǒu xiàng shì jiàng rén zhù zào ， yín jiàng yòng jīn bāo guǒ ， wèi tā zhù zào yín liàn 。

A workman has cast an image, and the goldsmith overlays it with gold, and casts silver chains for it.

穷乏献不起这样供物的， 就拣选不能朽坏的树木， 为自己寻找巧匠， 立起不能摇动的偶像。

qióng fá xiàn bù qǐ zhè yàng gòng wù de ， jiù jiǎn xuǎn bù néng xiǔ huài de shù mù ， wèi zì jǐ xún zhǎo qiǎo jiàng ， lì qǐ bù néng yáo dòng de ǒu xiàng 。

He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up a carved image for him that will not be moved.

你们岂不曾知道吗？ 你们岂不曾听见吗？ 从起初岂没有人告诉你们吗？ 自从立地的根基， 你们岂没有明白吗？

nǐ men qǐ bù céng zhī dào ma ？ nǐ men qǐ bù céng tīng jiàn ma ？ cóng qǐ chū qǐ méi yǒu rén gào sù nǐ men ma ？ zì cóng lì dì de gēn jī ， nǐ men qǐ méi yǒu míng bái ma ？

Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? Haven’t you been told from the beginning? Haven’t you understood from the foundations of the earth?

神坐在地球大圈之上； 地上的居民好像蝗虫。 他铺张穹苍如幔子， 展开诸天如可住的帐棚。

shén zuò zài dì qiú dà quān zhī shàng ； dì shàng de jū mín hǎo xiàng huáng chóng 。 tā pū zhāng qióng cāng rú màn zǐ ， zhǎn kāi zhū tiān rú kě zhù de zhàng péng 。

It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in,

他使君王归于虚无， 使地上的审判官成为虚空。

tā shǐ jūn wáng guī yú xū wú ， shǐ dì shàng de shěn pàn guān chéng wéi xū kōng 。

who brings princes to nothing, who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.

他们是刚才 栽上， 刚才种上， 根也刚才扎在地里， 他一吹在其上，便都枯干； 旋风将他们吹去，像碎秸一样。

tā men shì gāng cái zāi shàng ， gāng cái zhǒng shàng ， gēn yě gāng cái zhā zài dì lǐ ， tā yì chuī zài qí shàng ， biàn dōu kū gān ； xuán fēng jiāng tā men chuī qù ， xiàng suì jiē yí yàng 。

They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.

那圣者说：你们将谁比我， 叫他与我相等呢？

nà shèng zhě shuō ： nǐ men jiāng shuí bǐ wǒ ， jiào tā yǔ wǒ xiāng děng ne ？

“To whom then will you liken me? Who is my equal?” says the Holy One.

你们向上举目， 看谁创造这万象， 按数目领出， 他一一称其名； 因他的权能， 又因他的大能大力， 连一个都不缺。

nǐ men xiàng shàng jǔ mù ， kàn shuí chuàng zào zhè wàn xiàng ， àn shù mù lǐng chū ， tā yī yī chēng qí míng ； yīn tā de quán néng ， yòu yīn tā de dà néng dà lì ， lián yí gè dōu bù quē 。

Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. By the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is lacking.

雅各啊，你为何说， 我的道路向耶和华隐藏？ 以色列啊，你为何言， 我的冤屈 神并不查问？

yǎ gè a ， nǐ wèi hé shuō ， wǒ de dào lù xiàng yē hé huá yǐn cáng ？ yǐ sè liè a ， nǐ wèi hé yán ， wǒ de yuān qū shén bìng bù chá wèn ？

Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God”?

你岂不曾知道吗？ 你岂不曾听见吗？ 永在的 神耶和华，创造地极的主， 并不疲乏，也不困倦； 他的智慧无法测度。

nǐ qǐ bù céng zhī dào ma ？ nǐ qǐ bù céng tīng jiàn ma ？ yǒng zài de shén yē hé huá ， chuàng zào dì jí de zhǔ ， bìng bù pí fá ， yě bú kùn juàn ； tā de zhì huì wú fǎ cè dù 。

Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

疲乏的，他赐能力； 软弱的，他加力量。

pí fá de ， tā cì néng lì ； ruǎn ruò de ， tā jiā lì liàng 。

He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.

就是少年人也要疲乏困倦； 强壮的也必全然跌倒。

jiù shì shào nián rén yě yào pí fá kùn juàn ； qiáng zhuàng de yě bì quán rán diē dǎo 。

Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall;

但那等候耶和华的必从新得力。 他们必如鹰展翅上腾； 他们奔跑却不困倦， 行走却不疲乏。

dàn nà děng hòu yē hé huá de bì cóng xīn dé lì 。 tā men bì rú yīng zhǎn chì shàng téng ； tā men bēn pǎo què bú kùn juàn ， xíng zǒu què bù pí fá 。

but those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
