好像孩童坐在街市上，彼此呼叫说： 我们向你们吹笛， 你们不跳舞； 我们向你们举哀， 你们不啼哭。
hǎo xiàng hái tóng zuò zài jiē shì shàng ， bǐ cǐ hū jiào shuō ： wǒ men xiàng nǐ men chuī dí ， nǐ men bú tiào wǔ ； wǒ men xiàng nǐ men jǔ āi ， nǐ men bù tí kū 。
They are like children who sit in the marketplace and call to one another, saying, ‘We piped to you, and you didn’t dance. We mourned, and you didn’t weep.’
