yē sū hé mén tú jiāng jìn yē lù sā lěng , dào le bó fǎ qí hé bó dà ní , zài gǎn lǎn shān nà lǐ ; yē sū jiù dǎ fā liǎng gè mén tú ,

When they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples

:「

duì tā men shuō :「 nǐ men wǎng duì miàn cūn zǐ lǐ qù , yí jìn qù de shí hòu , bì kàn jiàn yì pǐ lǘ jū shuān zài nà lǐ , shì cóng lái méi yǒu rén qí guò de , kě yǐ jiě kāi , qiān lái 。

and said to them, “Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him and bring him.

:『?』:『。』。」

ruò yǒu rén duì nǐ men shuō :『 wèi shén me zuò zhè shì ?』 nǐ men jiù shuō :『 zhǔ yào yòng tā 。』 nà rén bì lì shí ràng nǐ men qiān lái 。」

If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs him;’ and immediately he will send him back here.”

便

tā men qù le , biàn kàn jiàn yì pǐ lǘ jū shuān zài mén wài jiē dào shàng , jiù bǎ tā jiě kāi 。

They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.

zài nà lǐ zhàn zhe de rén , yǒu jǐ gè shuō :「 nǐ men jiě lǘ jū zuò shén me ?」

Some of those who stood there asked them, “What are you doing, untying the young donkey?”

mén tú zhào zhe yē sū suǒ shuō de huí dá , nà xiē rén jiù rèn píng tā men qiān qù le 。

They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.

tā men bǎ lǘ jū qiān dào yē sū nà lǐ , bǎ zì jǐ de yī fu dā zài shàng miàn , yē sū jiù qí shàng 。

They brought the young donkey to Jesus and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.

yǒu xǔ duō rén bǎ yī fu pù zài lù shang , yě yǒu rén bǎ tián jiān de shù zhī kǎn xià lái , pù zài lù shang 。

Many spread their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees and spreading them on the road.

qián xíng hòu suí de rén dōu hǎn zhe shuō : hé sàn nà ! fèng zhǔ míng lái de shì yīng dāng chēng sòng de !

Those who went in front and those who followed cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

nà jiāng yào lái de wǒ zǔ dà wèi zhī guó shì yīng dāng chēng sòng de ! gāo gāo zài shàng hé sàn nà !

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

殿

yē sū jìn le yē lù sā lěng , rù le shèng diàn , zhōu wéi kàn le gè yàng wù jiàn 。 tiān sè yǐ wǎn , jiù hé shí èr gè mén tú chū chéng , wǎng bó dà ní qù le 。

Jesus entered into the temple in Jerusalem. When he had looked around at everything, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

饿

dì èr tiān , tā men cóng bó dà ní chū lái , yē sū è le 。

The next day, when they had come out from Bethany, he was hungry.

yuǎn yuǎn dì kàn jiàn yì kē wú huā guǒ shù , shù shàng yǒu yè zi , jiù wǎng nà lǐ qù , huò zhě zài shù shàng kě yǐ zhǎo zhe shén me 。 dào le shù xià , jìng zhǎo bù zhe shén me , bú guò yǒu yè zi , yīn wèi bú shì shōu wú huā guǒ de shí hòu 。

Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came to see if perhaps he might find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

yē sū jiù duì shù shuō :「 cóng jīn yǐ hòu , yǒng méi yǒu rén chī nǐ de guǒ zǐ 。」 tā de mén tú yě tīng jiàn le 。

Jesus told it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” and his disciples heard it.

殿殿

tā men lái dào yē lù sā lěng 。 yē sū jìn rù shèng diàn , gǎn chū diàn lǐ zuò mǎi mài de rén , tuī dǎo duì huàn yín qián zhī rén de zhuō zi hé mài gē zi zhī rén de dèng zǐ ;

They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus entered into the temple and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

殿

yě bù xǔ rén ná zhe qì jù cóng diàn lǐ jīng guò ;

He would not allow anyone to carry a container through the temple.

便:「殿殿使。」

biàn jiào xùn tā men shuō :「 jīng shàng bú shì jì zhe shuō : wǒ de diàn bì chēng wéi wàn guó dǎo gào de diàn ma ? nǐ men dǎo shǐ tā chéng wéi zéi wō le 。」

He taught, saying to them, “Isn’t it written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers!”

jì sī zhǎng hé wén shì tīng jiàn zhè huà , jiù xiǎng fǎ zǐ yào chú miè yē sū , què yòu pà tā , yīn wèi zhòng rén dōu xī qí tā de jiào xùn 。

The chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him. For they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.

měi tiān wǎn shàng , yē sū chū chéng qù 。

When evening came, he went out of the city.

zǎo chén , tā men cóng nà lǐ jīng guò , kàn jiàn wú huā guǒ shù lián gēn dōu kū gān le 。

As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.

bǐ dé xiǎng qǐ yē sū de huà lái , jiù duì tā shuō :「 lā bǐ , qǐng kàn ! nǐ suǒ zhòu zǔ de wú huā guǒ shù yǐ jīng kū gān le 。」

Peter, remembering, said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.”

:「

yē sū huí dá shuō :「 nǐ men dāng xìn fú shén 。

Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.

:『!』

wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men , wú lùn hé rén duì zhè zuò shān shuō :『 nǐ nuó kāi cǐ dì , tóu zài hǎi lǐ !』 tā ruò xīn lǐ bù yí huò , zhī xìn tā suǒ shuō de bì chéng , jiù bì gěi tā chéng le 。

For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.

suǒ yǐ wǒ gào sù nǐ men , fán nǐ men dǎo gào qí qiú de , wú lùn shì shén me , zhǐ yào xìn shì dé zhe de , jiù bì dé zhe 。

Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.

nǐ men zhàn zhe dǎo gào de shí hòu , ruò xiǎng qǐ yǒu rén dé zuì nǐ men , jiù dāng ráo shù tā , hǎo jiào nǐ men zài tiān shàng de fù yě ráo shù nǐ men de guò fàn 。

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.

。 」

nǐ men ruò bù ráo shù rén , nǐ men zài tiān shàng de fù yě bù ráo shù nǐ men de guò fàn 。 」

But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

殿

tā men yòu lái dào yē lù sā lěng 。 yē sū zài diàn lǐ xíng zǒu de shí hòu , jì sī zhǎng hé wén shì bìng zhǎng lǎo jìn qián lái ,

They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to him,

:「?」

wèn tā shuō :「 nǐ zhàng zhe shén me quán bǐng zuò zhè xiē shì ? gěi nǐ zhè quán bǐng de shì shuí ne ?」

and they began saying to him, “By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”

:「

yē sū duì tā men shuō :「 wǒ yào wèn nǐ men yí jù huà , nǐ men huí dá wǒ , wǒ jiù gào sù nǐ men wǒ zhàng zhe shén me quán bǐng zuò zhè xiē shì 。

Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

。」

yuē hàn de xǐ lǐ shì cóng tiān shàng lái de ? shì cóng rén jiān lái de ne ? nǐ men kě yǐ huí dá wǒ 。」

The baptism of John—was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me.”

:「』,:『?』

tā men bǐ cǐ shāng yì shuō :「 wǒ men ruò shuō 『 cóng tiān shàng lái 』, tā bì shuō :『 zhè yàng , nǐ men wèi shén me bú xìn tā ne ?』

They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we should say, ‘From heaven;’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

』,。」

ruò shuō 『 cóng rén jiān lái 』, què yòu pà bǎi xìng , yīn wèi zhòng rén zhēn yǐ yuē hàn wèi xiān zhī 。」

If we should say, ‘From men’”—they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.

yú shì huí dá yē sū shuō :「 wǒ men bù zhī dào 。」 yē sū shuō :「 wǒ yě bú gào sù nǐ men wǒ zhàng zhe shén me quán bǐng zuò zhè xiē shì 。」

They answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
