He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.

dào le shí hòu , dǎ fā yí gè pú rén dào yuán hù nà lǐ , yào cóng yuán hù shōu pú táo yuán de guǒ zǐ 。

When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.

yuán hù ná zhù tā , dǎ le tā , jiào tā kōng shǒu huí qù 。

They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.

zài dǎ fā yí gè pú rén dào tā men nà lǐ 。 tā men dǎ shāng tā de tóu , bìng qiě líng rǔ tā 。

Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.

yòu dǎ fā yí gè pú rén qù , tā men jiù shā le tā 。 hòu yòu dǎ fā hǎo xiē pú rén qù , yǒu bèi tā men dǎ de , yǒu bèi tā men shā de 。

Again he sent another, and they killed him, and many others, beating some, and killing some.

yuán zhǔ hái yǒu yí wèi shì tā de ài zǐ , mò hòu yòu dǎ fā tā qù , yì sī shuō :『 tā men bì zūn jìng wǒ de ér zi 。』

Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

:『!』

bú liào , nà xiē yuán hù bǐ cǐ shuō :『 zhè shì chéng shòu chǎn yè de 。 lái ba , wǒ men shā tā , chǎn yè jiù guī wǒ men le !』

But those farmers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’

yú shì ná zhù tā , shā le tā , bǎ tā diū zài yuán wài 。

They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

zhè yàng , pú táo yuán de zhǔ rén yào zěn me bàn ne ? tā yào lái chú miè nà xiē yuán hù , jiāng pú táo yuán zhuǎn gěi bié rén 。

What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.

jīng shàng xiě zhe shuō : jiàng rén suǒ qì de shí tou yǐ zuò le fáng jiǎo de tóu kuài shí tou 。

Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.

zhè shì zhǔ suǒ zuò de , zài wǒ men yǎn zhōng kàn wèi xī qí 。 zhè jīng nǐ men méi yǒu niàn guò ma ?」

This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?”

tā men kàn chū zhè bǐ yù shì zhǐ zhe tā men shuō de , jiù xiǎng yào zhuō ná tā , zhǐ shì jù pà bǎi xìng , yú shì lí kāi tā zǒu le 。

They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.

hòu lái , tā men dǎ fā jǐ gè fǎ lì sài rén hé jǐ gè xī lǜ dǎng de rén dào yē sū nà lǐ , yào jiù zhe tā de huà xiàn hài tā 。

They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.

tā men lái le , jiù duì tā shuō :「 fū zǐ , wǒ men zhī dào nǐ shì chéng shí de , shén me rén nǐ dōu bú xùn qíng miàn ; yīn wèi nǐ bú kàn rén de wài mào , nǎi shì chéng chéng shí shí chuán shén de dào 。 nà shuì gěi kǎi sā kě yǐ bù kě yǐ ?

When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

?」:「!」

wǒ men gāi nà bù gāi nà ?」 yē sū zhī dào tā men de jiǎ yì , jiù duì tā men shuō :「 nǐ men wèi shén me shì tàn wǒ ? ná yí gè yín qián lái gěi wǒ kàn !」

Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”

:「?」:「。」

tā men jiù ná le lái 。 yē sū shuō :「 zhè xiàng hé zhè hào shì shuí de ?」 tā men shuō :「 shì kǎi sā de 。」

They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”

:「 。」

yē sū shuō :「 kǎi sā de wù dāng guī gěi kǎi sā , shén de wù dāng guī gěi shén 。」 tā men jiù hěn xī qí tā 。

Jesus answered them, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marveled greatly at him.

sā dōu gāi rén cháng shuō méi yǒu fù huó de shì 。 tā men lái wèn yē sū shuō :

Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,

西:『。』

「 fū zǐ , mó xī wèi wǒ men xiě zhe shuō :『 rén ruò sǐ le , piě xià qī zǐ , méi yǒu hái zi , tā xiōng dì dāng qǔ tā de qī , wèi gē ge shēng zǐ lì hòu 。』

“Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’

yǒu dì xiong qī rén , dì yī gè qǔ le qī , sǐ le , méi yǒu liú xià hái zi 。

There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.

dì èr gè qǔ le tā , yě sǐ le , méi yǒu liú xià hái zi 。 dì sān gè yě shì zhè yàng 。

The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;

nà qī gè rén dōu méi yǒu liú xià hái zi ; mò liǎo , nà fù rén yě sǐ le 。

and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.

。」

dāng fù huó de shí hòu , tā shì nǎ yí gè de qī zǐ ne ? yīn wèi tā men qī gè rén dōu qǔ guò tā 。」

In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”

:「

yē sū shuō :「 nǐ men suǒ yǐ cuò le , qǐ bú shì yīn wèi bù míng bái shèng jīng , bù xiǎo de shén de dà néng ma ?

Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?

使

rén cóng sǐ lǐ fù huó , yě bù qǔ yě bú jià , nǎi xiàng tiān shàng de shǐ zhě yí yàng 。

For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

西西:『 。』

But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

。」

shén bú shì sǐ rén de shén , nǎi shì huó rén de shén 。 nǐ men shì dà cuò le 。」

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”

:「?」

yǒu yí gè wén shì lái , tīng jiàn tā men biàn lùn , xiǎo dé yē sū huí dá de hǎo , jiù wèn tā shuō :「 jiè mìng zhòng nǎ shì dì yī yào jǐn de ne ?」

One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”

:「:『

yē sū huí dá shuō :「 dì yī yào jǐn de jiù shì shuō :『 yǐ sè liè a , nǐ yào tīng , zhǔ — wǒ men shén shì dú yī de zhǔ 。

Jesus answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

。』

nǐ yào jìn xīn 、 jìn xìng 、 jìn yì 、 jìn lì ài zhǔ — nǐ de shén 。』

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

:『。』。」

qí cì jiù shì shuō :『 yào ài rén rú jǐ 。』 zài méi yǒu bǐ zhè liǎng tiáo jiè mìng gèng dà de le 。」

The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

:「

nà wén shì duì yē sū shuō :「 fū zǐ shuō , shén shì yí wèi , shí zài bú cuò ; chú le tā yǐ wài , zài méi yǒu bié de shén ;

The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;

。」

bìng qiě jìn xīn 、 jìn zhì 、 jìn lì ài tā , yòu ài rén rú jǐ , jiù bǐ yí qiè fán jì hé gè yàng jì sì hǎo de duō 。」

and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

:「 。」

yē sū jiàn tā huí dá de yǒu zhì huì , jiù duì tā shuō :「 nǐ lí shén de guó bù yuǎn le 。」 cóng cǐ yǐ hòu , méi yǒu rén gǎn zài wèn tā shén me 。

When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.

殿:「

yē sū zài diàn lǐ jiào xùn rén , jiù wèn tā men shuō :「 wén shì zěn me shuō jī dū shì dà wèi de zǐ sūn ne ?

Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

使

dà wèi bèi shèng líng gǎn dòng , shuō : zhǔ duì wǒ zhǔ shuō : nǐ zuò zài wǒ de yòu biān , děng wǒ shǐ nǐ chóu dí zuò nǐ de jiǎo dèng 。

For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’

?」

dà wèi jì zì jǐ chēng tā wéi zhǔ , tā zěn me yòu shì dà wèi de zǐ sūn ne ?」 zhòng rén dōu xǐ huan tīng tā 。

Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.

:「穿

yē sū zài jiào xùn zhī jiān , shuō :「 nǐ men yào fáng bèi wén shì ; tā men hǎo chuān cháng yī yóu xíng , xǐ ài rén zài jiē shì shàng wèn tā men de ān ,

In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,

and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,

those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

yē sū duì yín kù zuò zhe , kàn zhòng rén zěn yàng tóu qián rù kù 。 yǒu hǎo xiē cái zhǔ wǎng lǐ tóu le ruò gān de qián 。

Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.

yǒu yí gè qióng guǎ fù lái , wǎng lǐ tóu le liǎng gè xiǎo qián , jiù shì yí gè dà qián 。

A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.

:「

yē sū jiào mén tú lái , shuō :「 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men , zhè qióng guǎ fù tóu rù kù lǐ de , bǐ zhòng rén suǒ tóu de gèng duō 。

He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,

。」

yīn wèi , tā men dōu shì zì jǐ yǒu yú , ná chū lái tóu zài lǐ tóu ; dàn zhè guǎ fù shì zì jǐ bù zú , bǎ tā yí qiè yǎng shēng de dōu tóu shàng le 。」

for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
