dāng nà yì tiān , yē sū cóng fáng zi lǐ chū lái , zuò zài hǎi biān 。

On that day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside.

yǒu xǔ duō rén dào tā nà lǐ jù jí , tā zhī dé shàng chuán zuò xià , zhòng rén dōu zhàn zài àn shàng 。

Great multitudes gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat and sat; and all the multitude stood on the beach.

:「

tā yòng bǐ yù duì tā men jiǎng xǔ duō dào lǐ , shuō :「 yǒu yí gè sā zhǒng de chū qù sā zhǒng ;

He spoke to them many things in parables, saying, “Behold, a farmer went out to sow.

sā de shí hòu , yǒu luò zài lù páng de , fēi niǎo lái chī jìn le ;

As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them.

yǒu luò zài tǔ qiǎn shí tou dì shàng de , tǔ jì bù shēn , fā miáo zuì kuài ,

Others fell on rocky ground, where they didn’t have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of earth.

rì tou chū lái yí shài , yīn wèi méi yǒu gēn , jiù kū gān le ;

When the sun had risen, they were scorched. Because they had no root, they withered away.

yǒu luò zài jīng jí lǐ de , jīng jí cháng qǐ lái , bǎ tā jǐ zhù le ;

Others fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and choked them.

yòu yǒu luò zài hǎo tǔ lǐ de , jiù jiē shi , yǒu yì bǎi bèi de , yǒu liù shí bèi de , yǒu sān shí bèi de 。

Others fell on good soil and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.

!」

yǒu ěr kě tīng de , jiù yīng dāng tīng !」

He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

:「?」

mén tú jìn qián lái , wèn yē sū shuō :「 duì zhòng rén jiǎng huà , wèi shén me yòng bǐ yù ne ?」

The disciples came, and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

:「

yē sū huí dá shuō :「 yīn wèi tiān guó de ào mì zhī jiào nǐ men zhī dào , bú jiào tā men zhī dào 。

He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

fán yǒu de , hái yào jiā gěi tā , jiào tā yǒu yú ; fán méi yǒu de , lián tā suǒ yǒu de , yě yào duó qù 。

For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.

suǒ yǐ wǒ yòng bǐ yù duì tā men jiǎng , shì yīn tā men kàn yě kàn bú jiàn , tīng yě tīng bú jiàn , yě bù míng bái 。

Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.

zài tā men shēn shàng , zhèng yìng le yǐ sài yà de yù yán , shuō : nǐ men tīng shì yào tīng jiàn , què bù míng bái ; kàn shì yào kàn jiàn , què bù xiǎo de ;

In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, ‘By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive;

yīn wèi zhè bǎi xìng yóu méng le xīn , ěr duo fā chén , yǎn jīng bì zhe , kǒng pà yǎn jīng kàn jiàn , ěr duo tīng jiàn , xīn lǐ míng bái , huí zhuǎn guò lái , wǒ jiù yī zhì tā men 。

for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them.’

「 dàn nǐ men de yǎn jīng shì yǒu fú de , yīn wèi kàn jiàn le ; nǐ men de ěr duo yě shì yǒu fú de , yīn wèi tīng jiàn le 。

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

。」

wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men , cóng qián yǒu xǔ duō xiān zhī hé yì rén yào kàn nǐ men suǒ kàn de , què méi yǒu kàn jiàn , yào tīng nǐ men suǒ tīng de , què méi yǒu tīng jiàn 。」

For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.

「 suǒ yǐ , nǐ men dāng tīng zhè sā zhǒng de bǐ yù 。

“Hear, then, the parable of the farmer.

fán tīng jiàn tiān guó dào lǐ bù míng bái de , nà è zhě jiù lái , bǎ suǒ sā zài tā xīn lǐ de duó le qù ; zhè jiù shì sā zài lù páng de le 。

When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.

sā zài shí tou dì shàng de , jiù shì rén tīng le dào , dāng xià huān xǐ lǐng shòu ,

What was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word and immediately with joy receives it;

zhī yīn xīn lǐ méi yǒu gēn , bú guò shì zàn shí de , jí zhì wèi dào zāo le huàn nàn , huò shì shòu le bī pò , lì kè jiù diē dǎo le 。

yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

sā zài jīng jí lǐ de , jiù shì rén tīng le dào , hòu lái yǒu shì shàng de sī lǜ 、 qián cái de mí huò bǎ dào jǐ zhù le , bù néng jiē shi 。

What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

。」

sā zài hǎo dì shàng de , jiù shì rén tīng dào míng bái le , hòu lái jiē shi , yǒu yì bǎi bèi de , yǒu liù shí bèi de , yǒu sān shí bèi de 。」

What was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word and understands it, who most certainly bears fruit and produces, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.”

:「

yē sū yòu shè gè bǐ yù duì tā men shuō :「 tiān guó hǎo xiàng rén sā hǎo zhǒng zài tián lǐ ,

He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,

jí zhì rén shuì jiào de shí hòu , yǒu chóu dí lái , jiāng bài zǐ sā zài mài zi lǐ jiù zǒu le 。

but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds also among the wheat, and went away.

dào cháng miáo tǔ suì de shí hòu , bài zǐ yě xiǎn chū lái 。

But when the blade sprang up and produced grain, then the darnel weeds appeared also.

:『?』

tián zhǔ de pú rén lái gào sù tā shuō :『 zhǔ a , nǐ bú shì sā hǎo zhǒng zài tián lǐ ma ? cóng nǎ lǐ lái de bài zǐ ne ?』

The servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’

:『。』:『?』

zhǔ rén shuō :『 zhè shì chóu dí zuò de 。』 pú rén shuō :『 nǐ yào wǒ men qù hāo chū lái ma ?』

“He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’

:『

zhǔ rén shuō :『 bú bì , kǒng pà hāo bài zǐ , lián mài zi yě bá chū lái 。

“But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel weeds, you root up the wheat with them.

。』」

róng zhè liǎng yàng yì qí cháng , děng zhe shōu gē 。 dāng shōu gē de shí hòu , wǒ yào duì shōu gē de rén shuō , xiān jiāng bài zǐ hāo chū lái , kǔn chéng kǔn , liú zhe shāo ; wéi yǒu mài zi yào shōu zài cāng lǐ 。』」

Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

:「

tā yòu shè gè bǐ yù duì tā men shuō :「 tiān guó hǎo xiàng yí lì jiè cài zhǒng , yǒu rén ná qù zhǒng zài tián lǐ 。

He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field,

宿。」

zhè yuán shì bǎi zhǒng lǐ zuì xiǎo de , děng dào cháng qǐ lái , què bǐ gè yàng de cài dōu dà , qiě chéng le shù , tiān shàng de fēi niǎo lái sù zài tā de zhī shàng 。」

which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.”

:「。」

tā yòu duì tā men jiǎng gè bǐ yù shuō :「 tiān guó hǎo xiàng miàn jiào , yǒu fù rén ná lái , cáng zài sān dǒu miàn lǐ , zhí děng quán tuán dōu fā qǐ lái 。」

He spoke another parable to them. “The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened.”

zhè dōu shì yē sū yòng bǐ yù duì zhòng rén shuō de huà ; ruò bú yòng bǐ yù , jiù bú duì tā men shuō shén me 。

Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the multitudes; and without a parable, he didn’t speak to them,

zhè shì yào yìng yàn xiān zhī de huà , shuō : wǒ yào kāi kǒu yòng bǐ yù , bǎ chuàng shì yǐ lái suǒ yǐn cáng de shì fā míng chū lái 。

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.”

:「。」

dāng xià , yē sū lí kāi zhòng rén , jìn le fáng zi 。 tā de mén tú jìn qián lái , shuō :「 qǐng bǎ tián jiān bài zǐ de bǐ yù jiǎng gěi wǒ men tīng 。」

Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field.”

:「

tā huí dá shuō :「 nà sā hǎo zhǒng de jiù shì rén zǐ ;

He answered them, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

tián dì jiù shì shì jiè ; hǎo zhǒng jiù shì tiān guó zhī zǐ ; bài zǐ jiù shì nà è zhě zhī zǐ ;

the field is the world, the good seeds are the children of the Kingdom, and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

使

sā bài zǐ de chóu dí jiù shì mó guǐ ; shōu gē de shí hòu jiù shì shì jiè de mò liǎo ; shōu gē de rén jiù shì tiān shǐ 。

The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

jiāng bài zǐ hāo chū lái yòng huǒ fén shāo , shì jiè de mò liǎo yě yào rú cǐ 。

As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

使

rén zǐ yào chà qiǎn shǐ zhě , bǎ yí qiè jiào rén diē dǎo de hé zuò è de , cóng tā guó lǐ tiāo chū lái ,

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and those who do iniquity,

nà shí , yì rén zài tā men fù de guó lǐ , yào fā chū guāng lái , xiàng tài yáng yí yàng 。 yǒu ěr kě tīng de , jiù yīng dāng tīng !」

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

「 tiān guó hǎo xiàng bǎo bèi cáng zài dì lǐ , rén yù jiàn le jiù bǎ tā cáng qǐ lái , huān huān xǐ xǐ dì qù biàn mài yí qiè suǒ yǒu de , mǎi zhè kuài dì 。

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

tiān guó yòu hǎo xiàng mǎi mài rén xún zhǎo hǎo zhū zǐ ,

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls,

who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

tiān guó yòu hǎo xiàng wǎng sā zài hǎi lǐ , jù lǒng gè yàng shuǐ zú ,

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some fish of every kind,

So it will be in the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous,

and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

:「?」:「。」

yē sū shuō :「 zhè yí qiè de huà nǐ men dōu míng bái le ma ?」 tā men shuō :「 wǒ men míng bái le 。」

Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They answered him, “Yes, Lord.”

:「西。」

tā shuō :「 fán wén shì shòu jiào zuò tiān guó de mén tú , jiù xiàng yí gè jiā zhǔ cóng tā kù lǐ ná chū xīn jiù de dōng xī lái 。」

He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

yē sū shuō wán le zhè xiē bǐ yù , jiù lí kāi nà lǐ ,

When Jesus had finished these parables, he departed from there.

:「

Coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

西西

zhè bú shì mù jiàng de ér zi ma ? tā mǔ qīn bú shì jiào mǎ lì yà ma ? tā dì xiong men bú shì jiào yǎ gè 、 yuē xī 、 xī mén 、 yóu dà ma ?

Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

?」

tā mèi mei men bú shì dōu zài wǒ men zhè lǐ ma ? zhè rén cóng nǎ lǐ yǒu zhè yí qiè de shì ne ?」

Aren’t all of his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all of these things?”

:「。」

tā men jiù yàn qì tā 。 yē sū duì tā men shuō :「 dà fán xiān zhī , chú le běn dì běn jiā zhī wài , méi yǒu bú bèi rén zūn jìng de 。」

They were offended by him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country and in his own house.”

yē sū yīn wèi tā men bú xìn , jiù zài nà lǐ bù duō háng yì néng le 。

He didn’t do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
