希律就想要杀他，只是怕百姓，因为他们以约翰为先知。
xī lǜ jiù xiǎng yào shā tā ， zhǐ shì pà bǎi xìng ， yīn wèi tā men yǐ yuē hàn wéi xiān zhī 。
When he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
