yē sū shàng le chuán , dù guò hǎi , lái dào zì jǐ de chéng lǐ 。

He entered into a boat and crossed over, and came into his own city.

yǒu rén yòng rù zǐ tái zhe yí gè tān zǐ dào yē sū gēn qián lái 。 yē sū jiàn tā men de xìn xīn , jiù duì tān zǐ shuō :「 xiǎo zi , fàng xīn ba ! nǐ de zuì shè le 。」

Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.”

yǒu jǐ gè wén shì xīn lǐ shuō :「 zhè ge rén shuō jiàn wàng de huà le 。」

Behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man blasphemes.”

yē sū zhī dào tā men de xīn yì , jiù shuō :「 nǐ men wèi shén me xīn lǐ huái zhe è niàn ne ?

Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

huò shuō 『 nǐ de zuì shè le 』, huò shuō 『 nǐ qǐ lái xíng zǒu 』, nǎ yí yàng róng yì ne ?

For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk’?

」;:「。」

dàn yào jiào nǐ men zhī dào , rén zǐ zài dì shàng yǒu shè zuì de quán bǐng 」; jiù duì tān zǐ shuō :「 qǐ lái ! ná nǐ de rù zǐ huí jiā qù ba 。」

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins—” (then he said to the paralytic), “Get up, and take up your mat, and go to your house.”

nà rén jiù qǐ lái , huí jiā qù le 。

He arose and departed to his house.

耀

zhòng rén kàn jiàn dōu jīng qí , jiù guī róng yào yǔ shén , yīn wèi tā jiāng zhè yàng de quán bǐng cì gěi rén 。

But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

yē sū cóng nà lǐ wǎng qián zǒu , kàn jiàn yí gè rén míng jiào mǎ tài , zuò zài shuì guān shàng , jiù duì tā shuō :「 nǐ gēn cóng wǒ lái 。」 tā jiù qǐ lái gēn cóng le yē sū 。

As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, “Follow me.” He got up and followed him.

yē sū zài wū lǐ zuò xí de shí hòu , yǒu hǎo xiē shuì lì hé zuì rén lái , yǔ yē sū hé tā de mén tú yì tóng zuò xí 。

As he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.

fǎ lì sài rén kàn jiàn , jiù duì yē sū de mén tú shuō :「 nǐ men de xiān shēng wèi shén me hé shuì lì bìng zuì rén yì tóng chī fàn ne ?」

When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

:「

yē sū tīng jiàn , jiù shuō :「 kāng jiàn de rén yòng bù zhe yī shēng , yǒu bìng de rén cái yòng dé zhe 。

When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.

:『。』。」

jīng shàng shuō :『 wǒ xǐ ài lián xù , bù xǐ ài jì sì 。』 zhè jù huà de yì sī , nǐ men qiě qù chuāi mó 。 wǒ lái běn bú shì zhào yì rén , nǎi shì zhào zuì rén 。」

But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

nà shí , yuē hàn de mén tú lái jiàn yē sū , shuō :「 wǒ men hé fǎ lì sài rén cháng cháng jìn shí , nǐ de mén tú dǎo bù jīn shí , zhè shì wèi shén me ne ?」

Then John’s disciples came to him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples don’t fast?”

:「

yē sū duì tā men shuō :「 xīn láng hé péi bàn zhī rén tóng zài de shí hòu , péi bàn zhī rén qǐ néng āi tòng ne ? dàn rì zi jiāng dào , xīn láng yào lí kāi tā men , nà shí hòu tā men jiù yào jìn shí 。

Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

méi yǒu rén bǎ xīn bù bǔ zài jiù yī fu shàng ; yīn wèi suǒ bǔ shàng de fǎn dài huài le nà yī fu , pò de jiù gèng dà le 。

No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch would tear away from the garment, and a worse hole is made.

。」

yě méi yǒu rén bǎ xīn jiǔ zhuāng zài jiù pí dài lǐ ; ruò shì zhè yàng , pí dài jiù liè kāi , jiǔ lòu chū lái , lián pí dài yě huài le 。 wéi dú bǎ xīn jiǔ zhuāng zài xīn pí dài lǐ , liǎng yàng jiù dōu bǎo quán le 。」

Neither do people put new wine into old wineskins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine be spilled, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”

yē sū shuō zhè huà de shí hòu , yǒu yí gè guǎn huì táng de lái bài tā , shuō :「 wǒ nǚ ér gāng cái sǐ le , qiú nǐ qù àn shǒu zài tā shēn shàng , tā jiù bì huó le 。」

While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

便

yē sū biàn qǐ lái gēn zhe tā qù ; mén tú yě gēn le qù 。

Jesus got up and followed him, as did his disciples.

yǒu yí gè nǚ rén , huàn le shí èr nián de xuè lòu , lái dào yē sū bèi hòu , mō tā de yī shang zǐ ;

Behold, a woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment;

:「。」

yīn wèi tā xīn lǐ shuō :「 wǒ zhī mō tā de yī shang , jiù bì quán yù 。」

for she said within herself, “If I just touch his garment, I will be made well.”

:「。」

yē sū zhuǎn guò lái , kàn jiàn tā , jiù shuō :「 nǚ ér , fàng xīn ! nǐ de xìn jiù le nǐ 。」 cóng nà shí hòu , nǚ rén jiù quán yù le 。

But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

yē sū dào le guǎn huì táng de jiā lǐ , kàn jiàn yǒu chuī shǒu , yòu yǒu xǔ duō rén luàn rǎng ,

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd in noisy disorder,

:「退。」

jiù shuō :「 tuì qù ba ! zhè guī nǚ bú shì sǐ le , shì shuì zháo le 。」 tā men jiù chī xiào tā 。

he said to them, “Make room, because the girl isn’t dead, but sleeping.” They were ridiculing him.

便

zhòng rén jì bèi niǎn chū , yē sū jiù jìn qù , lā zhe guī nǚ de shǒu , guī nǚ biàn qǐ lái le 。

But when the crowd was sent out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

yú shì zhè fēng shēng chuán biàn le nà dì fāng 。

The report of this went out into all that land.

:「!」

yē sū cóng nà lǐ wǎng qián zǒu , yǒu liǎng gè xiā zǐ gēn zhe tā , hǎn jiào shuō :「 dà wèi de zǐ sūn , kě lián wǒ men ba !」

As Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying, “Have mercy on us, son of David!”

:「?」:「。」

yē sū jìn le fáng zi , xiā zǐ jiù lái dào tā gēn qián 。 yē sū shuō :「 nǐ men xìn wǒ néng zuò zhè shì ma ?」 tā men shuō :「 zhǔ a , wǒ men xìn 。」

When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They told him, “Yes, Lord.”

:「。」

yē sū jiù mō tā men de yǎn jīng , shuō :「 zhào zhe nǐ men de xìn gěi nǐ men chéng quán le ba 。」

Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.”

:「。」

tā men de yǎn jīng jiù kāi le 。 yē sū qiè qiè dì zhǔ fù tā men shuō :「 nǐ men yào xiǎo xīn , bù kě jiào rén zhī dào 。」

Then their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, “See that no one knows about this.”

tā men chū qù , jìng bǎ tā de míng shēng chuán biàn le nà dì fāng 。

But they went out and spread abroad his fame in all that land.

tā men chū qù de shí hòu , yǒu rén jiāng guǐ suǒ fù de yí gè yǎ ba dài dào yē sū gēn qián lái 。

As they went out, behold, a mute man who was demon possessed was brought to him.

:「。」

guǐ bèi gǎn chū qù , yǎ ba jiù shuō chū huà lái 。 zhòng rén dōu xī qí , shuō :「 zài yǐ sè liè zhōng , cóng lái méi yǒu jiàn guò zhè yàng de shì 。」

When the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. The multitudes marveled, saying, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”

:「。」

fǎ lì sài rén què shuō :「 tā shì kào zhe guǐ wáng gǎn guǐ 。」

But the Pharisees said, “By the prince of the demons, he casts out demons.”

yē sū zǒu biàn gè chéng gè xiāng , zài huì táng lǐ jiào xùn rén , xuān jiǎng tiān guó de fú yīn , yòu yī zhì gè yàng de bìng zhèng 。

Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

tā kàn jiàn xǔ duō de rén , jiù lián mǐn tā men ; yīn wèi tā men kùn kǔ liú lí , rú tóng yáng méi yǒu mù rén yì bān 。

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.

:「

yú shì duì mén tú shuō :「 yào shōu de zhuāng jia duō , zuò gōng de rén shǎo 。

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

。」

suǒ yǐ , nǐ men dāng qiú zhuāng jia de zhǔ dǎ fā gōng rén chū qù shōu tā de zhuāng jia 。」

Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.”
