Psalms 127

若不是耶和华建造房屋， 建造的人就枉然劳力； 若不是耶和华看守城池， 看守的人就枉然警醒。

ruò bú shì yē hé huá jiàn zào fáng wū ， jiàn zào de rén jiù wǎng rán láo lì ； ruò bú shì yē hé huá kān shǒu chéng chí ， kān shǒu de rén jiù wǎng rán jǐng xǐng 。

Unless the LORD builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.

你们清晨早起，夜晚安歇， 吃劳碌得来的饭，本是枉然； 惟有耶和华所亲爱的，必叫他安然睡觉。

nǐ men qīng chén zǎo qǐ ， yè wǎn ān xiē ， chī láo lù dé lái de fàn ， běn shì wǎng rán ； wéi yǒu yē hé huá suǒ qīn ài de ， bì jiào tā ān rán shuì jiào 。

It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones.

儿女是耶和华所赐的产业； 所怀的胎是他所给的赏赐。

ér nǚ shì yē hé huá suǒ cì de chǎn yè ； suǒ huái de tāi shì tā suǒ gěi de shǎng cì 。

Behold, children are a heritage of the LORD. The fruit of the womb is his reward.

少年时所生的儿女 好像勇士手中的箭。

shào nián shí suǒ shēng de ér nǚ hǎo xiàng yǒng shì shǒu zhōng de jiàn 。

As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.

箭袋充满的人便为有福； 他们在城门口和仇敌说话的时候， 必不至于羞愧。

jiàn dài chōng mǎn de rén biàn wèi yǒu fú ； tā men zài chéng mén kǒu hé chóu dí shuō huà de shí hòu ， bì bú zhì yú xiū kuì 。

Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won’t be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
