nǐ men dāng xiàng shén — wǒ men de lì liàng dà shēng huān hū , xiàng yǎ gè de shén fā shēng huān lè !

Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!

chàng qǐ shī gē , dǎ shǒu gǔ , tán měi qín yǔ sè 。

Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.

dāng zài yuè shuò bìng yuè wàng — wǒ men guò jié de rì qī chuī jiǎo ,

Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

yīn zhè shì wèi yǐ sè liè dìng de lǜ lì , shì yǎ gè shén de diǎn zhāng 。

For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

tā qù gōng jī āi jí dì de shí hòu , zài yuē sè zhōng jiān lì cǐ wèi zhèng 。 wǒ zài nà lǐ tīng jiàn wǒ suǒ bù míng bái de yán yǔ :

He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.

使

shén shuō : wǒ shǐ nǐ de jiān dé tuō zhòng dàn , nǐ de shǒu fàng xià kuāng zǐ 。

“I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.

nǐ zài jí nán zhōng hū qiú , wǒ jiù dā jiù nǐ ; wǒ zài léi de yǐn mì chù yīng yǔn nǐ , zài mǐ lì bā shuǐ nà lǐ shì yàn nǐ 。 ( xì lā )

You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah.” Selah.

wǒ de mín nǎ , nǐ dāng tīng , wǒ yào quàn jiè nǐ ; yǐ sè liè a , shèn yuàn nǐ kěn tīng cóng wǒ 。

“Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!

zài nǐ dāng zhōng , bù kě yǒu bié de shén ; wài bāng de shén , nǐ yě bù kě xià bài 。

There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.

wǒ shì yē hé huá — nǐ de shén , céng bǎ nǐ cóng āi jí dì lǐng shàng lái ; nǐ yào dà dà zhāng kǒu , wǒ jiù gěi nǐ chōng mǎn 。

I am the LORD, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

wú nài , wǒ de mín bù tīng wǒ de shēng yīn ; yǐ sè liè quán bù lǐ wǒ 。

But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.

便

wǒ biàn rèn píng tā men xīn lǐ gāng yìng , suí zì jǐ de jì móu ér xíng 。

So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.

shèn yuàn wǒ de mín kěn tīng cóng wǒ , yǐ sè liè kěn xíng wǒ de dào ,

Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

便

wǒ biàn sù sù zhì fú tā men de chóu dí , fǎn shǒu gōng jī tā men de dí rén 。

I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.

hèn yē hé huá de rén bì lái tóu xiáng , dàn tā de bǎi xìng bì yǒng jiǔ cháng cún 。

The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.

tā yě bì ná shàng hǎo de mài zi gěi tā men chī , yòu ná cóng pán shí chū de fēng mì jiào tā men bǎo zú 。

But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock.”
