首领和众民就对祭司、先知说：「这人是不该死的，因为他是奉耶和华—我们 神的名向我们说话。」
shǒu lǐng hé zhòng mín jiù duì jì sī 、 xiān zhī shuō ：「 zhè rén shì bù gāi sǐ de ， yīn wèi tā shì fèng yē hé huá — wǒ men shén de míng xiàng wǒ men shuō huà 。」
Allora i principi, e tutto il popolo, dissero a' sacerdoti, ed a' profeti: Non vi è cagione di condannare quest'uomo a morte; conciossiachè egli ci abbia parlato in Nome del Signore Iddio nostro.
