因耶和华使巴比伦变为荒场， 使其中的大声灭绝。 仇敌仿佛众水， 波浪匉訇，响声已经发出。
yīn yē hé huá shǐ bā bǐ lún biàn wéi huāng chǎng ， shǐ qí zhōng de dà shēng miè jué 。 chóu dí fǎng fú zhòng shuǐ ， bō làng pēng hōng ， xiǎng shēng yǐ jīng fā chū 。
Perciocchè il Signore distrugge Babilonia, e fa perir d'essa il suo grande strepito; e le onde di coloro romoreggeranno, lo stormo delle lor grida risonerà a guisa di grandi acque.
