大卫的死期临近了，就嘱咐他儿子所罗门说：

dà wèi de sǐ qī lín jìn le ， jiù zhǔ fù tā ér zi suǒ luó mén shuō ：

Now the days of David came near that he should die; and he commanded Solomon his son, saying,

「我现在要走世人必走的路。所以，你当刚强，作大丈夫，

「 wǒ xiàn zài yào zǒu shì rén bì zǒu de lù 。 suǒ yǐ ， nǐ dāng gāng qiáng ， zuò dà zhàng fu ，

“I am going the way of all the earth. You be strong therefore, and show yourself a man;

遵守耶和华—你 神所吩咐的，照着摩西律法上所写的行主的道，谨守他的律例、诫命、典章、法度。这样，你无论做什么事，不拘往何处去，尽都亨通。

zūn shǒu yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ fēn fù de ， zhào zhe mó xī lǜ fǎ shàng suǒ xiě de xíng zhǔ de dào ， jǐn shǒu tā de lǜ lì 、 jiè mìng 、 diǎn zhāng 、 fǎ dù 。 zhè yàng ， nǐ wú lùn zuò shén me shì ， bù jū wǎng hé chù qù ， jìn dōu hēng tōng 。

and keep the instruction of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself.

耶和华必成就向我所应许的话说：『你的子孙若谨慎自己的行为，尽心尽意诚诚实实地行在我面前，就不断人坐以色列的国位。』

yē hé huá bì chéng jiù xiàng wǒ suǒ yīng xǔ de huà shuō ：『 nǐ de zǐ sūn ruò jǐn shèn zì jǐ de xíng wéi ， jìn xīn jìn yì chéng chéng shí shí dì xíng zài wǒ miàn qián ， jiù bú duàn rén zuò yǐ sè liè de guó wèi 。』

Then the LORD may establish his word which he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your children are careful of their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you,’ he said, ‘a man on the throne of Israel.’

你知道洗鲁雅的儿子约押向我所行的，就是杀了以色列的两个元帅：尼珥的儿子押尼珥和益帖的儿子亚玛撒。他在太平之时流这二人的血，如在争战之时一样，将这血染了腰间束的带和脚上穿的鞋。

nǐ zhī dào xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yuē yā xiàng wǒ suǒ xíng de ， jiù shì shā le yǐ sè liè de liǎng gè yuán shuài ： ní ěr de ér zi yā ní ěr hé yì tiē de ér zi yà mǎ sā 。 tā zài tài píng zhī shí liú zhè èr rén de xuè ， rú zài zhēng zhàn zhī shí yí yàng ， jiāng zhè xuè rǎn le yāo jiān shù de dài hé jiǎo shàng chuān de xié 。

“Moreover you know also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, even what he did to the two captains of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner and to Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war on his sash that was around his waist and in his sandals that were on his feet.

所以你要照你的智慧行，不容他白头安然下阴间。

suǒ yǐ nǐ yào zhào nǐ de zhì huì xíng ， bù róng tā bái tóu ān rán xià yīn jiān 。

Do therefore according to your wisdom, and don’t let his gray head go down to Sheol in peace.

你当恩待基列人巴西莱的众子，使他们常与你同席吃饭；因为我躲避你哥哥押沙龙的时候，他们拿食物来迎接我。

nǐ dāng ēn dài jī liè rén bā xī lái de zhòng zǐ ， shǐ tā men cháng yǔ nǐ tóng xí chī fàn ； yīn wèi wǒ duǒ bì nǐ gē ge yā shā lóng de shí hòu ， tā men ná shí wù lái yíng jiē wǒ 。

But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be among those who eat at your table; for so they came to me when I fled from Absalom your brother.

在你这里有巴户琳的便雅悯人，基拉的儿子示每；我往玛哈念去的那日，他用狠毒的言语咒骂我，后来却下约旦河迎接我，我就指着耶和华向他起誓说：『我必不用刀杀你。』

zài nǐ zhè lǐ yǒu bā hù lín de biàn yǎ mǐn rén ， jī lā de ér zi shì měi ； wǒ wǎng mǎ hā niàn qù de nà rì ， tā yòng hěn dú de yán yǔ zhòu mà wǒ ， hòu lái què xià yuē dàn hé yíng jiē wǒ ， wǒ jiù zhǐ zhe yē hé huá xiàng tā qǐ shì shuō ：『 wǒ bì bú yòng dāo shā nǐ 。』

“Behold, there is with you Shimei the son of Gera, the Benjamite of Bahurim, who cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim; but he came down to meet me at the Jordan, and I swore to him by the LORD, saying, ‘I will not put you to death with the sword.’

现在你不要以他为无罪。你是聪明人，必知道怎样待他，使他白头见杀，流血下到阴间。」

xiàn zài nǐ bú yào yǐ tā wèi wú zuì 。 nǐ shì cōng ming rén ， bì zhī dào zěn yàng dài tā ， shǐ tā bái tóu jiàn shā ， liú xuè xià dào yīn jiān 。」

Now therefore don’t hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man; and you will know what you ought to do to him, and you shall bring his gray head down to Sheol with blood.”

大卫与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城。

dà wèi yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì ， zàng zài dà wèi chéng 。

David slept with his fathers, and was buried in David’s city.

大卫作以色列王四十年：在希伯 作王七年，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。

dà wèi zuò yǐ sè liè wáng sì shí nián ： zài xī bó zuò wáng qī nián ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng sān shí sān nián 。

The days that David reigned over Israel were forty years; he reigned seven years in Hebron, and he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

所罗门坐他父亲大卫的位，他的国甚是坚固。

suǒ luó mén zuò tā fù qīn dà wèi de wèi ， tā de guó shèn shì jiān gù 。

Solomon sat on David his father’s throne; and his kingdom was firmly established.

哈及的儿子亚多尼雅去见所罗门的母亲拔示巴，拔示巴问他说：「你来是为平安吗？」回答说：「是为平安」；

hā jí de ér zi yà duō ní yǎ qù jiàn suǒ luó mén de mǔ qīn bá shì bā ， bá shì bā wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ lái shì wèi píng ān ma ？」 huí dá shuō ：「 shì wèi píng ān 」；

Then Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon. She said, “Do you come peaceably?” He said, “Peaceably.

又说：「我有话对你说。」拔示巴说：「你说吧。」

yòu shuō ：「 wǒ yǒu huà duì nǐ shuō 。」 bá shì bā shuō ：「 nǐ shuō ba 。」

He said moreover, I have something to tell you.” She said, “Say on.”

亚多尼雅说：「你知道国原是归我的，以色列众人也都仰望我作王，不料，国反归了我兄弟，因他得国是出乎耶和华。

yà duō ní yǎ shuō ：「 nǐ zhī dào guó yuán shì guī wǒ de ， yǐ sè liè zhòng rén yě dōu yǎng wàng wǒ zuò wáng ， bú liào ， guó fǎn guī le wǒ xiōng dì ， yīn tā dé guó shì chū hū yē hé huá 。

He said, “You know that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign. However, the kingdom is turned around, and has become my brother’s; for it was his from the LORD.

现在我有一件事求你，望你不要推辞。」拔示巴说：「你说吧。」

xiàn zài wǒ yǒu yí jiàn shì qiú nǐ ， wàng nǐ bú yào tuī cí 。」 bá shì bā shuō ：「 nǐ shuō ba 。」

Now I ask one petition of you. Don’t deny me.” She said to him, “Say on.”

他说：「求你请所罗门王将书念的女子亚比煞赐我为妻，因他必不推辞你。」

tā shuō ：「 qiú nǐ qǐng suǒ luó mén wáng jiāng shū niàn de nǚ zǐ yà bǐ shà cì wǒ wèi qī ， yīn tā bì bù tuī cí nǐ 。」

He said, “Please speak to Solomon the king (for he will not tell you ‘no’), that he give me Abishag the Shunammite as wife.”

拔示巴说：「好，我必为你对王提说。」

bá shì bā shuō ：「 hǎo ， wǒ bì wèi nǐ duì wáng tí shuō 。」

Bathsheba said, “All right. I will speak for you to the king.”

于是，拔示巴去见所罗门王，要为亚多尼雅提说；王起来迎接，向她下拜，就坐在位上，吩咐人为王母设一座位，她便坐在王的右边。

yú shì ， bá shì bā qù jiàn suǒ luó mén wáng ， yào wèi yà duō ní yǎ tí shuō ； wáng qǐ lái yíng jiē ， xiàng tā xià bài ， jiù zuò zài wèi shàng ， fēn fù rén wéi wáng mǔ shè yí zuò wèi ， tā biàn zuò zài wáng de yòu biān 。

Bathsheba therefore went to King Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. The king rose up to meet her and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne and caused a throne to be set for the king’s mother; and she sat on his right hand.

拔示巴说：「我有一件小事求你，望你不要推辞。」王说：「请母亲说，我必不推辞。」

bá shì bā shuō ：「 wǒ yǒu yí jiàn xiǎo shì qiú nǐ ， wàng nǐ bú yào tuī cí 。」 wáng shuō ：「 qǐng mǔ qīn shuō ， wǒ bì bù tuī cí 。」

Then she said, “I ask one small petition of you; don’t deny me.” The king said to her, “Ask on, my mother, for I will not deny you.”

拔示巴说：「求你将书念的女子亚比煞赐给你哥哥亚多尼雅为妻。」

bá shì bā shuō ：「 qiú nǐ jiāng shū niàn de nǚ zǐ yà bǐ shà cì gěi nǐ gē ge yà duō ní yǎ wèi qī 。」

She said, “Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as wife.”

所罗门王对他母亲说：「为何单替他求书念的女子亚比煞呢？也可以为他求国吧！他是我的哥哥，他有祭司亚比亚他和洗鲁雅的儿子约押为辅佐。」

suǒ luó mén wáng duì tā mǔ qīn shuō ：「 wèi hé dān tì tā qiú shū niàn de nǚ zǐ yà bǐ shà ne ？ yě kě yǐ wéi tā qiú guó ba ！ tā shì wǒ de gē ge ， tā yǒu jì sī yà bǐ yà tā hé xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yuē yā wèi fǔ zuǒ 。」

King Solomon answered his mother, “Why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also, for he is my elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.”

所罗门王就指着耶和华起誓说：「亚多尼雅这话是自己送命，不然，愿 神重重地降罚与我。

suǒ luó mén wáng jiù zhǐ zhe yē hé huá qǐ shì shuō ：「 yà duō ní yǎ zhè huà shì zì jǐ sòng mìng ， bù rán ， yuàn shén chóng chóng dì jiàng fá yǔ wǒ 。

Then King Solomon swore by the LORD, saying, “God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah has not spoken this word against his own life.

耶和华坚立我，使我坐在父亲大卫的位上，照着所应许的话为我建立家室；现在我指着永生的耶和华起誓，亚多尼雅今日必被治死。」

yē hé huá jiān lì wǒ ， shǐ wǒ zuò zài fù qīn dà wèi de wèi shàng ， zhào zhe suǒ yīng xǔ de huà wèi wǒ jiàn lì jiā shì ； xiàn zài wǒ zhǐ zhe yǒng shēng de yē hé huá qǐ shì ， yà duō ní yǎ jīn rì bì bèi zhì sǐ 。」

Now therefore as the LORD lives, who has established me and set me on my father David’s throne, and who has made me a house as he promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death today.”

于是所罗门王差遣耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，将亚多尼雅杀死。

yú shì suǒ luó mén wáng chāi qiǎn yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ ， jiāng yà duō ní yǎ shā sǐ 。

King Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell on him, so that he died.

王对祭司亚比亚他说：「你回亚拿突归自己的田地去吧！你本是该死的，但因你在我父亲大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，又与我父亲同受一切苦难，所以我今日不将你杀死。」

wáng duì jì sī yà bǐ yà tā shuō ：「 nǐ huí yà ná tū guī zì jǐ de tián dì qù ba ！ nǐ běn shì gāi sǐ de ， dàn yīn nǐ zài wǒ fù qīn dà wèi miàn qián tái guò zhǔ yē hé huá de yuē guì ， yòu yǔ wǒ fù qīn tóng shòu yí qiè kǔ nàn ， suǒ yǐ wǒ jīn rì bù jiāng nǐ shā sǐ 。」

To Abiathar the priest the king said, “Go to Anathoth, to your own fields, for you are worthy of death. But I will not at this time put you to death, because you bore the Lord GOD’s ark before David my father, and because you were afflicted in all in which my father was afflicted.”

所罗门就革除亚比亚他，不许他作耶和华的祭司。这样，便应验耶和华在示罗论以利家所说的话。

suǒ luó mén jiù gé chú yà bǐ yà tā ， bù xǔ tā zuò yē hé huá de jì sī 。 zhè yàng ， biàn yìng yàn yē hé huá zài shì luó lùn yǐ lì jiā suǒ shuō de huà 。

So Solomon thrust Abiathar out from being priest to the LORD, that he might fulfill the LORD’s word which he spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

约押虽然没有归从押沙龙，却归从了亚多尼雅。他听见这风声，就逃到耶和华的帐幕，抓住祭坛的角。

yuē yā suī rán méi yǒu guī cóng yā shā lóng ， què guī cóng le yà duō ní yǎ 。 tā tīng jiàn zhè fēng shēng ， jiù táo dào yē hé huá de zhàng mù ， zhuā zhù jì tán de jiǎo 。

This news came to Joab; for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he didn’t follow Absalom. Joab fled to the LORD’s Tent, and held onto the horns of the altar.

有人告诉所罗门王说：「约押逃到耶和华的帐幕，现今在祭坛的旁边。」所罗门就差遣耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，说：「你去将他杀死。」

yǒu rén gào sù suǒ luó mén wáng shuō ：「 yuē yā táo dào yē hé huá de zhàng mù ， xiàn jīn zài jì tán de páng biān 。」 suǒ luó mén jiù chāi qiǎn yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ ， shuō ：「 nǐ qù jiāng tā shā sǐ 。」

King Solomon was told, “Joab has fled to the LORD’s Tent; and behold, he is by the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go, fall on him.”

比拿雅来到耶和华的帐幕，对约押说：「王吩咐说，你出来吧！」他说：「我不出去，我要死在这里。」比拿雅就去回复王，说约押如此如此回答我。

bǐ ná yǎ lái dào yē hé huá de zhàng mù ， duì yuē yā shuō ：「 wáng fēn fù shuō ， nǐ chū lái ba ！」 tā shuō ：「 wǒ bù chū qù ， wǒ yào sǐ zài zhè lǐ 。」 bǐ ná yǎ jiù qù huí fù wáng ， shuō yuē yā rú cǐ rú cǐ huí dá wǒ 。

Benaiah came to the LORD’s Tent, and said to him, “The king says, ‘Come out!’” He said, “No; but I will die here.” Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, “This is what Joab said, and this is how he answered me.”

王说：「你可以照着他的话行，杀死他，将他葬埋，好叫约押流无辜人血的罪不归我和我的父家了。

wáng shuō ：「 nǐ kě yǐ zhào zhe tā de huà xíng ， shā sǐ tā ， jiāng tā zàng mái ， hǎo jiào yuē yā liú wú gū rén xuè de zuì bù guī wǒ hé wǒ de fù jiā le 。

The king said to him, “Do as he has said, and fall on him, and bury him, that you may take away the blood, which Joab shed without cause, from me and from my father’s house.

耶和华必使约押流人血的罪归到他自己的头上；因为他用刀杀了两个比他又义又好的人，就是以色列元帅尼珥的儿子押尼珥和犹大元帅益帖的儿子亚玛撒，我父亲大卫却不知道。

yē hé huá bì shǐ yuē yā liú rén xuè de zuì guī dào tā zì jǐ de tóu shàng ； yīn wèi tā yòng dāo shā le liǎng gè bǐ tā yòu yì yòu hǎo de rén ， jiù shì yǐ sè liè yuán shuài ní ěr de ér zi yā ní ěr hé yóu dà yuán shuài yì tiē de ér zi yà mǎ sā ， wǒ fù qīn dà wèi què bù zhī dào 。

The LORD will return his blood on his own head, because he fell on two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword, and my father David didn’t know it: Abner the son of Ner, captain of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the army of Judah.

故此，流这二人血的罪必归到约押和他后裔的头上，直到永远；惟有大卫和他的后裔，并他的家与国，必从耶和华那里得平安，直到永远。」

gù cǐ ， liú zhè èr rén xuè de zuì bì guī dào yuē yā hé tā hòu yì de tóu shàng ， zhí dào yǒng yuǎn ； wéi yǒu dà wèi hé tā de hòu yì ， bìng tā de jiā yǔ guó ， bì cóng yē hé huá nà lǐ dé píng ān ， zhí dào yǒng yuǎn 。」

So their blood will return on the head of Joab and on the head of his offspring forever. But for David, for his offspring, for his house, and for his throne, there will be peace forever from the LORD.”

于是耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅上去，将约押杀死，葬在旷野约押自己的坟墓 里。

yú shì yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ shàng qù ， jiāng yuē yā shā sǐ ， zàng zài kuàng yě yuē yā zì jǐ de fén mù lǐ 。

Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and fell on him, and killed him; and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.

王就立耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅作元帅，代替约押，又使祭司撒督代替亚比亚他。

wáng jiù lì yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ zuò yuán shuài ， dài tì yuē yā ， yòu shǐ jì sī sā dū dài tì yà bǐ yà tā 。

The king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his place over the army; and the king put Zadok the priest in the place of Abiathar.

王差遣人将示每召来，对他说：「你要在耶路撒冷建造房屋居住，不可出来往别处去。

wáng chāi qiǎn rén jiāng shì měi zhào lái ， duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ yào zài yē lù sā lěng jiàn zào fáng wū jū zhù ， bù kě chū lái wǎng bié chù qù 。

The king sent and called for Shimei, and said to him, “Build yourself a house in Jerusalem, and live there, and don’t go anywhere else.

你当确实地知道，你何日出来过汲沦溪，何日必死！你的罪 必归到自己的头上。」

nǐ dāng què shí dì zhī dào ， nǐ hé rì chū lái guò jí lún xī ， hé rì bì sǐ ！ nǐ de zuì bì guī dào zì jǐ de tóu shàng 。」

For on the day you go out and pass over the brook Kidron, know for certain that you will surely die. Your blood will be on your own head.”

示每对王说：「这话甚好！我主我王怎样说，仆人必怎样行。」于是示每多日住在耶路撒冷。

shì měi duì wáng shuō ：「 zhè huà shèn hǎo ！ wǒ zhǔ wǒ wáng zěn yàng shuō ， pú rén bì zěn yàng xíng 。」 yú shì shì měi duō rì zhù zài yē lù sā lěng 。

Shimei said to the king, “What you say is good. As my lord the king has said, so will your servant do.” Shimei lived in Jerusalem many days.

过了三年，示每的两个仆人逃到迦特王玛迦的儿子亚吉那里去。有人告诉示每说：「你的仆人在迦特。」

guò le sān nián ， shì měi de liǎng gè pú rén táo dào jiā tè wáng mǎ jiā de ér zǐ yà jí nà lǐ qù 。 yǒu rén gào sù shì měi shuō ：「 nǐ de pú rén zài jiā tè 。」

At the end of three years, two of Shimei’s slaves ran away to Achish, son of Maacah, king of Gath. They told Shimei, saying, “Behold, your slaves are in Gath.”

示每起来，备上驴，往迦特到亚吉那里去找他的仆人，就从迦特带他仆人回来。

shì měi qǐ lái ， bèi shàng lǘ ， wǎng jiā tè dào yà jí nà lǐ qù zhǎo tā de pú rén ， jiù cóng jiā tè dài tā pú rén huí lái 。

Shimei arose, saddled his donkey, and went to Gath to Achish to seek his slaves; and Shimei went and brought his slaves from Gath.

有人告诉所罗门说：「示每出耶路撒冷往迦特去，回来了。」

yǒu rén gào sù suǒ luó mén shuō ：「 shì měi chū yē lù sā lěng wǎng jiā tè qù ， huí lái le 。」

Solomon was told that Shimei had gone from Jerusalem to Gath, and had come again.

王就差遣人将示每召了来，对他说：「我岂不是叫你指着耶和华起誓，并且警戒你说『你当确实地知道，你哪日出来往别处去，那日必死』吗？你也对我说：『这话甚好，我必听从。』

wáng jiù chāi qiǎn rén jiāng shì měi zhào le lái ， duì tā shuō ：「 wǒ qǐ bú shì jiào nǐ zhǐ zhe yē hé huá qǐ shì ， bìng qiě jǐng jiè nǐ shuō 『 nǐ dāng què shí dì zhī dào ， nǐ nǎ rì chū lái wǎng bié chù qù ， nà rì bì sǐ 』 ma ？ nǐ yě duì wǒ shuō ：『 zhè huà shèn hǎo ， wǒ bì tīng cóng 。』

The king sent and called for Shimei, and said to him, “Didn’t I adjure you by the LORD and warn you, saying, ‘Know for certain that on the day you go out and walk anywhere else, you shall surely die’? You said to me, ‘The saying that I have heard is good.’

现在你为何不遵守你指着耶和华起的誓和我所吩咐你的命令呢？」

xiàn zài nǐ wèi hé bù zūn shǒu nǐ zhǐ zhe yē hé huá qǐ de shì hé wǒ suǒ fēn fù nǐ de mìng lìng ne ？」

Why then have you not kept the oath of the LORD and the commandment that I have instructed you with?”

王又对示每说：「你向我父亲大卫所行的一切恶事，你自己心里也知道，所以耶和华必使你的罪恶归到自己的头上；

wáng yòu duì shì měi shuō ：「 nǐ xiàng wǒ fù qīn dà wèi suǒ xíng de yí qiè è shì ， nǐ zì jǐ xīn lǐ yě zhī dào ， suǒ yǐ yē hé huá bì shǐ nǐ de zuì è guī dào zì jǐ de tóu shàng ；

The king said moreover to Shimei, “You know in your heart all the wickedness that you did to David my father. Therefore the LORD will return your wickedness on your own head.

惟有所罗门王必得福，并且大卫的国位必在耶和华面前坚定，直到永远。」

wéi yǒu suǒ luó mén wáng bì dé fú ， bìng qiě dà wèi de guó wèi bì zài yē hé huá miàn qián jiān dìng ， zhí dào yǒng yuǎn 。」

But King Solomon will be blessed, and David’s throne will be established before the LORD forever.”

于是王吩咐耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，他就去杀死示每。这样，便坚定了所罗门的国位。

yú shì wáng fēn fù yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ ， tā jiù qù shā sǐ shì měi 。 zhè yàng ， biàn jiān dìng le suǒ luó mén de guó wèi 。
