约沙法与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子约兰接续他作王。

yuē shā fǎ yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì ， zàng zài dà wèi chéng tā liè zǔ de fén dì lǐ 。 tā ér zi yuē lán jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in David’s city; and Jehoram his son reigned in his place.

约兰有几个兄弟，就是约沙法的儿子亚撒利雅、耶歇、撒迦利雅、亚撒利雅、米迦勒、示法提雅。这都是犹大王约沙法的儿子。

yuē lán yǒu jǐ gè xiōng dì ， jiù shì yuē shā fǎ de ér zi yà sā lì yǎ 、 yē xiē 、 sā jiā lì yǎ 、 yà sā lì yǎ 、 mǐ jiā lè 、 shì fǎ tí yǎ 。 zhè dōu shì yóu dà wáng yuē shā fǎ de ér zi 。

He had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah. All these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.

他们的父亲将许多金银、财宝，和犹大地的坚固城赐给他们；但将国赐给约兰，因为他是长子。

tā men de fù qīn jiāng xǔ duō jīn yín 、 cái bǎo ， hé yóu dà dì de jiān gù chéng cì gěi tā men ； dàn jiāng guó cì gěi yuē lán ， yīn wèi tā shì zhǎng zǐ 。

Their father gave them great gifts of silver, of gold, and of precious things, with fortified cities in Judah; but he gave the kingdom to Jehoram, because he was the firstborn.

约兰兴起坐他父的位，奋勇自强，就用刀杀了他的众兄弟和以色列的几个首领。

yuē lán xīng qǐ zuò tā fù de wèi ， fèn yǒng zì qiáng ， jiù yòng dāo shā le tā de zhòng xiōng dì hé yǐ sè liè de jǐ gè shǒu lǐng 。

Now when Jehoram had risen up over the kingdom of his father, and had strengthened himself, he killed all his brothers with the sword, and also some of the princes of Israel.

约兰登基的时候年三十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王八年。

yuē lán dēng jī de shí hòu nián sān shí èr suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng ba nián 。

Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

他行以色列诸王的道，与亚哈家一样；因他娶了亚哈的女儿为妻，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。

tā xíng yǐ sè liè zhū wáng de dào ， yǔ yà hā jiā yí yàng ； yīn tā qǔ le yà hā de nǚ ér wèi qī ， xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi è de shì 。

He walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did Ahab’s house, for he had Ahab’s daughter as his wife. He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight.

耶和华却因自己与大卫所立的约，不肯灭大卫的家，照他所应许的，永远赐灯光与大卫和他的子孙。

yē hé huá què yīn zì jǐ yǔ dà wèi suǒ lì de yuē ， bù kěn miè dà wèi de jiā ， zhào tā suǒ yīng xǔ de ， yǒng yuǎn cì dēng guāng yǔ dà wèi hé tā de zǐ sūn 。

However the LORD would not destroy David’s house, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a lamp to him and to his children always.

约兰年间，以东人背叛犹大，脱离他的权下，自己立王。

yuē lán nián jiān ， yǐ dōng rén bèi pàn yóu dà ， tuō lí tā de quán xià ， zì jǐ lì wáng 。

In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.

约兰就率领军长和所有的战车，夜间起来，攻击围困他的以东人和车兵长。

yuē lán jiù shuài lǐng jūn zhǎng hé suǒ yǒu de zhàn chē ， yè jiān qǐ lái ， gōng jī wéi kùn tā de yǐ dōng rén hé chē bīng cháng 。

Then Jehoram went there with his captains and all his chariots with him. He rose up by night and struck the Edomites who surrounded him, along with the captains of the chariots.

这样，以东人背叛犹大，脱离他的权下，直到今日。那时，立拿人也背叛了，因为约兰离弃耶和华—他列祖的 神。

zhè yàng ， yǐ dōng rén bèi pàn yóu dà ， tuō lí tā de quán xià ， zhí dào jīn rì 。 nà shí ， lì ná rén yě bèi pàn le ， yīn wèi yuē lán lí qì yē hé huá — tā liè zǔ de shén 。

So Edom has been in revolt from under the hand of Judah to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time from under his hand, because he had forsaken the LORD, the God of his fathers.

他又在犹大诸山建筑邱坛，使耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，诱惑犹大人。

tā yòu zài yóu dà zhū shān jiàn zhù qiū tán ， shǐ yē lù sā lěng de jū mín xíng xié yín ， yòu huò yóu dà rén 。

Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and made the inhabitants of Jerusalem play the prostitute, and led Judah astray.

先知以利亚达信与约兰说：「耶和华—你祖大卫的 神如此说：『因为你不行你父约沙法和犹大王亚撒的道，

xiān zhī yǐ lì yà dá xìn yǔ yuē lán shuō ：「 yē hé huá — nǐ zǔ dà wèi de shén rú cǐ shuō ：『 yīn wèi nǐ bù xíng nǐ fù yuē shā fǎ hé yóu dà wáng yà sā de dào ，

A letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, “the LORD, the God of David your father, says, ‘Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

乃行以色列诸王的道，使犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，像亚哈家一样，又杀了你父家比你好的诸兄弟。

nǎi xíng yǐ sè liè zhū wáng de dào ， shǐ yóu dà rén hé yē lù sā lěng de jū mín xíng xié yín ， xiàng yà hā jiā yí yàng ， yòu shā le nǐ fù jiā bǐ nǐ hǎo de zhū xiōng dì 。

but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the prostitute like Ahab’s house did, and also have slain your brothers of your father’s house, who were better than yourself,

故此，耶和华降大灾与你的百姓和你的妻子、儿女，并你一切所有的。

gù cǐ ， yē hé huá jiàng dà zāi yǔ nǐ de bǎi xìng hé nǐ de qī zǐ 、 ér nǚ ， bìng nǐ yí qiè suǒ yǒu de 。

behold, the LORD will strike your people with a great plague, including your children, your wives, and all your possessions;

你的肠子必患病，日加沉重，以致你的肠子坠落下来。』」

nǐ de cháng zǐ bì huàn bìng ， rì jiā chén zhòng ， yǐ zhì nǐ de cháng zǐ zhuì luò xià lái 。』」

and you will have great sickness with a disease of your bowels, until your bowels fall out by reason of the sickness, day by day.’”

以后，耶和华激动非利士人和靠近古实的阿拉伯人来攻击约兰。

yǐ hòu ， yē hé huá jī dòng fēi lì shì rén hé kào jìn gǔ shí de ā lā bó rén lái gōng jī yuē lán 。

The LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines and of the Arabians who are beside the Ethiopians;

他们上来攻击犹大，侵入境内，掳掠了王宫里所有的财货和他的妻子、儿女，除了他小儿子约哈斯 之外，没有留下一个儿子。

tā men shàng lái gōng jī yóu dà ， qīn rù jìng nèi ， lǔ lüè le wáng gōng lǐ suǒ yǒu de cái huò hé tā de qī zǐ 、 ér nǚ ， chú le tā xiǎo ér zi yuē hā sī zhī wài ， méi yǒu liú xià yí gè ér zi 。

and they came up against Judah, broke into it, and carried away all the possessions that were found in the king’s house, including his sons and his wives, so that there was no son left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

这些事以后，耶和华使约兰的肠子患不能医治的病。

zhè xiē shì yǐ hòu ， yē hé huá shǐ yuē lán de cháng zǐ huàn bù néng yī zhì de bìng 。

After all this the LORD struck him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

他患此病缠绵日久，过了二年，肠子坠落下来，病重而死。他的民没有为他烧什么物件，像从前为他列祖所烧的一样。

tā huàn cǐ bìng chán mián rì jiǔ ， guò le èr nián ， cháng zǐ zhuì luò xià lái ， bìng zhòng ér sǐ 。 tā de mín méi yǒu wèi tā shāo shén me wù jiàn ， xiàng cóng qián wèi tā liè zǔ suǒ shāo de yí yàng 。

In process of time, at the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness, and he died of severe diseases. His people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.

约兰登基的时候年三十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王八年。他去世无人思慕，众人葬他在大卫城，只是不在列王的坟墓里。

yuē lán dēng jī de shí hòu nián sān shí èr suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng ba nián 。 tā qù shì wú rén sī mù ， zhòng rén zàng tā zài dà wèi chéng ， zhǐ shì bú zài liè wáng de fén mù lǐ 。

He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. He departed with no one’s regret. They buried him in David’s city, but not in the tombs of the kings.
