wǒ men jì yǒu zhè xǔ duō de jiàn zhèng rén , rú tóng yún cǎi wéi zhe wǒ men , jiù dāng fàng xià gè yàng de zhòng dàn , tuō qù róng yì chán lèi wǒ men de zuì , cún xīn rěn nài , bēn nà bǎi zài wǒ men qián tou de lù chéng ,

Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

便

yǎng wàng wèi wǒ men xìn xīn chuàng shǐ chéng zhōng de yē sū 。 tā yīn nà bǎi zài qián miàn de xǐ lè , jiù qīng kàn xiū rǔ , rěn shòu le shí zì jià de kǔ nàn , biàn zuò zài shén bǎo zuò de yòu biān 。

looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

nà rěn shòu zuì rén zhè yàng dǐng zhuàng de , nǐ men yào sī xiǎng , miǎn de pí juàn huī xīn 。

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.

nǐ men yǔ zuì è xiāng zhēng , hái méi yǒu dǐ dǎng dào liú xuè de dì bù 。

You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.

nǐ men yòu wàng le nà quàn nǐ men rú tóng quàn ér zi de huà , shuō : wǒ ér , nǐ bù kě qīng kàn zhǔ de guǎn jiào , bèi tā zé bèi de shí hòu yě bù kě huī xīn ;

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;

yīn wéi zhǔ suǒ ài de , tā bì guǎn jiào , yòu biān dǎ fán suǒ shōu nà de ér zi 。

for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

nǐ men suǒ rěn shòu de , shì shén guǎn jiào nǐ men , dài nǐ men rú tóng dài ér zi 。 yān yǒu ér zi bú bèi fù qīn guǎn jiào de ne ?

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?

guǎn jiào yuán shì zhòng zǐ suǒ gòng shòu de 。 nǐ men ruò bú shòu guǎn jiào , jiù shì sī zǐ , bú shì ér zi le 。

But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.

zài zhě , wǒ men céng yǒu shēng shēn de fù guǎn jiào wǒ men , wǒ men shàng qiě jìng zhòng tā , hé kuàng wàn líng de fù , wǒ men qǐ bú gèng dāng shùn fú tā dé shēng ma ?

Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

使

shēng shēn de fù dōu shì zàn suí jǐ yì guǎn jiào wǒ men ; wéi yǒu wàn líng de fù guǎn jiào wǒ men , shì yào wǒ men dé yì chù , shǐ wǒ men zài tā de shèng jié shàng yǒu fēn 。

For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.

fán guǎn jiào de shì , dāng shí bù jué de kuài lè , fǎn jué de chóu kǔ ; hòu lái què wèi nà jīng liàn guò de rén jié chū píng ān de guǒ zǐ , jiù shì yì 。

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

suǒ yǐ , nǐ men yào bǎ xià chuí de shǒu 、 fā suān de tuǐ tǐng qǐ lái ;

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,

使

yě yào wèi zì jǐ de jiǎo , bǎ dào lù xiū zhí le , shǐ qué zǐ bú zhì wāi jiǎo , fǎn dé quán yù 。

and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

nǐ men yào zhuī qiú yǔ zhòng rén hé mù , bìng yào zhuī qiú shèng jié ; fēi shèng jié méi yǒu rén néng jiàn zhǔ 。

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

yòu yào jǐn shèn , kǒng pà yǒu rén shī le shén de ēn ; kǒng pà yǒu dú gēn shēng chū lái rǎo luàn nǐ men , yīn cǐ jiào zhòng rén zhān rǎn wū huì ;

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,

kǒng pà yǒu yín luàn de , yǒu tān liàn shì sú rú yǐ sǎo de , tā yīn yì diǎn shí wù bǎ zì jǐ zhǎng zǐ de míng fēn mài le 。

lest there be any sexually immoral person or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.

使

hòu lái xiǎng yào chéng shòu fù suǒ zhù de fú , jìng bèi qì jué , suī rán háo kū qiè qiú , què dé bù zhe mén lù shǐ tā fù qīn de xīn yì huí zhuǎn 。 zhè shì nǐ men zhī dào de 。

For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.

nǐ men yuán bú shì lái dào nà néng mō de shān ; cǐ shān yǒu huǒ yàn 、 mì yún 、 hēi àn 、 bào fēng 、

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,

jiǎo shēng yǔ shuō huà de shēng yīn 。 nà xiē tīng jiàn zhè shēng yīn de , dōu qiú bú yào zài xiàng tā men shuō huà ;

the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,

:「便。」

yīn wèi tā men dāng bù qǐ suǒ mìng tā men de huà , shuō :「 kào jìn zhè shān de , jí biàn shì zǒu shòu , yě yào yòng shí tou dǎ sǐ 。」

for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.

西:「。」

suǒ jiàn de jí qí kě pà , shèn zhì mó xī shuō :「 wǒ shèn shì kǒng jù zhàn jīng 。」

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”

使

nǐ men nǎi shì lái dào xī ān shān , yǒng shēng shén de chéng yì , jiù shì tiān shàng de yē lù sā lěng 。 nà lǐ yǒu qiān wàn de tiān shǐ ,

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,

yǒu míng lù zài tiān shàng zhū zhǎng zǐ zhī huì suǒ gòng jù de zǒng huì , yǒu shěn pàn zhòng rén de shén hé bèi chéng quán zhī yì rén de líng hún ,

to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

bìng xīn yuē de zhōng bǎo yē sū , yǐ jí suǒ sǎ de xuè ; zhè xuè suǒ shuō de bǐ yà bó de xuè suǒ shuō de gèng měi 。

to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.

nǐ men zǒng yào jǐn shèn , bù kě qì jué nà xiàng nǐ men shuō huà de 。 yīn wèi , nà xiē qì jué zài dì shàng jǐng jiè tā men de shàng qiě bù néng táo zuì , hé kuàng wǒ men wéi bèi nà cóng tiān shàng jǐng jiè wǒ men de ne ?

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,

:「。」

dāng shí tā de shēng yīn zhèn dòng le dì , dàn rú jīn tā yīng xǔ shuō :「 zài yí cì wǒ bù dān yào zhèn dòng dì , hái yào zhèn dòng tiān 。」

whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”

使

zhè zài yí cì de huà , shì zhǐ míng bèi zhèn dòng de , jiù shì shòu zào zhī wù dōu yào nuó qù , shǐ nà bú bèi zhèn dòng de cháng cún 。

This phrase, “Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

suǒ yǐ wǒ men jì dé le bù néng zhèn dòng de guó , jiù dāng gǎn ēn , zhào shén suǒ xǐ yuè de , yòng qián chéng 、 jìng wèi de xīn shì fèng shén 。

Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

yīn wèi wǒ men de shén nǎi shì liè huǒ 。

for our God is a consuming fire.
