民数记 21

住南地的迦南人亚拉得王，听说以色列人从亚他林路来，就和以色列人争战，掳了他们几个人。

zhù nán dì de jiā nán rén yà lā dé wáng ， tīng shuō yǐ sè liè rén cóng yà tā lín lù lái ， jiù hé yǐ sè liè rén zhēng zhàn ， lǔ le tā men jǐ gè rén 。

The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the South, heard that Israel came by the way of Atharim. He fought against Israel, and took some of them captive.

以色列人向耶和华发愿说：「你若将这民交付我手，我就把他们的城邑尽行毁灭。」

yǐ sè liè rén xiàng yē hé huá fà yuàn shuō ：「 nǐ ruò jiāng zhè mín jiāo fù wǒ shǒu ， wǒ jiù bǎ tā men de chéng yì jìn xíng huǐ miè 。」

Israel vowed a vow to the LORD, and said, “If you will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.”

耶和华应允了以色列人，把迦南人交付他们，他们就把迦南人和迦南人的城邑尽行毁灭。那地方的名便叫何珥玛 。

yē hé huá yìng yǔn le yǐ sè liè rén ， bǎ jiā nán rén jiāo fù tā men ， tā men jiù bǎ jiā nán rén hé jiā nán rén de chéng yì jìn xíng huǐ miè 。 nà dì fāng de míng biàn jiào hé ěr mǎ 。

The LORD listened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities. The name of the place was called Hormah.

他们从何珥山起行，往红海那条路走，要绕过以东地。百姓因这路难行，心中甚是烦躁，

tā men cóng hé ěr shān qǐ xíng ， wǎng hóng hǎi nà tiáo lù zǒu ， yào rào guò yǐ dōng dì 。 bǎi xìng yīn zhè lù nán xíng ， xīn zhōng shèn shì fán zào ，

They traveled from Mount Hor by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom. The soul of the people was very discouraged because of the journey.

就怨 神和摩西说：「你们为什么把我们从埃及领出来、使我们死在旷野呢？这里没有粮，没有水，我们的心厌恶这淡薄的食物。」

jiù yuàn shén hé mó xī shuō ：「 nǐ men wèi shén me bǎ wǒ men cóng āi jí lǐng chū lái 、 shǐ wǒ men sǐ zài kuàng yě ne ？ zhè lǐ méi yǒu liáng ， méi yǒu shuǐ ， wǒ men de xīn yàn wù zhè dàn báo de shí wù 。」

The people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, there is no water, and our soul loathes this disgusting food!”

于是耶和华使火蛇进入百姓中间，蛇就咬他们。以色列人中死了许多。

yú shì yē hé huá shǐ huǒ shé jìn rù bǎi xìng zhōng jiān ， shé jiù yǎo tā men 。 yǐ sè liè rén zhōng sǐ le xǔ duō 。

The LORD sent venomous snakes among the people, and they bit the people. Many people of Israel died.

百姓到摩西那里，说：「我们怨 耶和华和你，有罪了。求你祷告耶和华，叫这些蛇离开我们。」于是摩西为百姓祷告。

bǎi xìng dào mó xī nà lǐ ， shuō ：「 wǒ men yuàn yē hé huá hé nǐ ， yǒu zuì le 。 qiú nǐ dǎo gào yē hé huá ， jiào zhè xiē shé lí kāi wǒ men 。」 yú shì mó xī wèi bǎi xìng dǎo gào 。

The people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the LORD and against you. Pray to the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us.” Moses prayed for the people.

耶和华对摩西说：「你制造一条火蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被咬的，一望这蛇，就必得活。」

yē hé huá duì mó xī shuō ：「 nǐ zhì zào yì tiáo huǒ shé ， guà zài gān zi shàng ； fán bèi yǎo de ， yí wàng zhè shé ， jiù bì dé huó 。」

The LORD said to Moses, “Make a venomous snake, and set it on a pole. It shall happen that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.”

摩西便制造一条铜蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被蛇咬的，一望这铜蛇就活了。

mó xī biàn zhì zào yì tiáo tóng shé ， guà zài gān zi shàng ； fán bèi shé yǎo de ， yí wàng zhè tóng shé jiù huó le 。

Moses made a serpent of bronze, and set it on the pole. If a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked at the serpent of bronze, he lived.

以色列人起行，安营在阿伯。

yǐ sè liè rén qǐ xíng ， ān yíng zài ā bó 。

The children of Israel traveled, and encamped in Oboth.

又从阿伯起行，安营在以耶·亚巴琳，与摩押相对的旷野，向日出之地。

yòu cóng ā bó qǐ xíng ， ān yíng zài yǐ yē · yà bā lín ， yǔ mó yā xiāng duì de kuàng yě ， xiàng rì chū zhī dì 。

They traveled from Oboth, and encamped at Iyeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrise.

从那里起行，安营在撒烈谷。

cóng nà lǐ qǐ xíng ， ān yíng zài sā liè gǔ 。

From there they traveled, and encamped in the valley of Zered.

从那里起行，安营在亚嫩河那边。这亚嫩河是在旷野，从亚摩利的境界流出来的；原来亚嫩河是摩押的边界，在摩押和亚摩利人搭界的地方。

cóng nà lǐ qǐ xíng ， ān yíng zài yà nèn hé nà biān 。 zhè yà nèn hé shì zài kuàng yě ， cóng yà mó lì de jìng jiè liú chū lái de ； yuán lái yà nèn hé shì mó yā de biān jiè ， zài mó yā hé yà mó lì rén dā jiè de dì fāng 。

From there they traveled, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that comes out of the border of the Amorites; for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

所以耶和华的战记上说：「苏法的哇哈伯与亚嫩河的谷，

suǒ yǐ yē hé huá de zhàn jì shàng shuō ：「 sū fǎ de wā hā bó yǔ yà nèn hé de gǔ ，

Therefore it is said in The Book of the Wars of the LORD, “Vaheb in Suphah, the valleys of the Arnon,

并向亚珥城众谷的下坡，是靠近摩押的境界。」

bìng xiàng yà ěr chéng zhòng gǔ de xià pō ， shì kào jìn mó yā de jìng jiè 。」

the slope of the valleys that incline toward the dwelling of Ar, leans on the border of Moab.”

以色列人从那里起行，到了比珥 。从前耶和华吩咐摩西说：「招聚百姓，我好给他们水喝」，说的就是这井。

yǐ sè liè rén cóng nà lǐ qǐ xíng ， dào le bǐ ěr 。 cóng qián yē hé huá fēn fù mó xī shuō ：「 zhāo jù bǎi xìng ， wǒ hǎo gěi tā men shuǐ hē 」， shuō de jiù shì zhè jǐng 。

From there they traveled to Beer; that is the well of which the LORD said to Moses, “Gather the people together, and I will give them water.”

当时，以色列人唱歌说： 井啊，涌上水来！ 你们要向这井歌唱。

dāng shí ， yǐ sè liè rén chàng gē shuō ： jǐng a ， yǒng shàng shuǐ lái ！ nǐ men yào xiàng zhè jǐng gē chàng 。

Then Israel sang this song: “Spring up, well! Sing to it,

这井是首领和民中的尊贵人 用圭用杖所挖所掘的。 以色列人从旷野往玛他拿去，

zhè jǐng shì shǒu lǐng hé mín zhōng de zūn guì rén yòng guī yòng zhàng suǒ wā suǒ jué de 。 yǐ sè liè rén cóng kuàng yě wǎng mǎ tā ná qù ，

the well, which the princes dug, which the nobles of the people dug, with the scepter, and with their poles.” From the wilderness they traveled to Mattanah;

从玛他拿到拿哈列，从拿哈列到巴末，

cóng mǎ tā ná dào ná hā liè ， cóng ná hā liè dào bā mò ，

and from Mattanah to Nahaliel; and from Nahaliel to Bamoth;

从巴末到摩押地的谷，又到那下望旷野之毗斯迦的山顶。

cóng bā mò dào mó yā dì de gǔ ， yòu dào nà xià wàng kuàng yě zhī pí sī jiā de shān dǐng 。

and from Bamoth to the valley that is in the field of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks down on the desert.

以色列人差遣使者去见亚摩利人的王西宏，说：

yǐ sè liè rén chāi qiǎn shǐ zhě qù jiàn yà mó lì rén de wáng xī hóng ， shuō ：

Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

「求你容我们从你的地经过；我们不偏入田间和葡萄园，也不喝井里的水，只走大道 ，直到过了你的境界。」

「 qiú nǐ róng wǒ men cóng nǐ de dì jīng guò ； wǒ men bù piān rù tián jiān hé pú táo yuán ， yě bù hē jǐng lǐ de shuǐ ， zhī zǒu dà dào ， zhí dào guò le nǐ de jìng jiè 。」

“Let me pass through your land. We will not turn away into field or vineyard. We will not drink of the water of the wells. We will go by the king’s highway, until we have passed your border.”

西宏不容以色列人从他的境界经过，就招聚他的众民出到旷野，要攻击以色列人，到了雅杂与以色列人争战。

xī hóng bù róng yǐ sè liè rén cóng tā de jìng jiè jīng guò ， jiù zhāo jù tā de zhòng mín chū dào kuàng yě ， yào gōng jī yǐ sè liè rén ， dào le yǎ zá yǔ yǐ sè liè rén zhēng zhàn 。

Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his border, but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness, and came to Jahaz. He fought against Israel.

以色列人用刀杀了他，得了他的地，从亚嫩河到雅博河，直到亚扪人的境界，因为亚扪人的境界多有坚垒。

yǐ sè liè rén yòng dāo shā le tā ， dé le tā de dì ， cóng yà nèn hé dào yǎ bó hé ， zhí dào yà mén rén de jìng jiè ， yīn wèi yà mén rén de jìng jiè duō yǒu jiān lěi 。

Israel struck him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, even to the children of Ammon; for the border of the children of Ammon was fortified.

以色列人夺取这一切的城邑，也住亚摩利人的城邑，就是希实本与希实本的一切乡村。

yǐ sè liè rén duó qǔ zhè yí qiè de chéng yì ， yě zhù yà mó lì rén de chéng yì ， jiù shì xī shí běn yǔ xī shí běn de yí qiè xiāng cūn 。

Israel took all these cities. Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages.

这希实本是亚摩利王西宏的京城；西宏曾与摩押的先王争战，从他手中夺取了全地，直到亚嫩河。

zhè xī shí běn shì yà mó lì wáng xī hóng de jīng chéng ； xī hóng céng yǔ mó yā de xiān wáng zhēng zhàn ， cóng tā shǒu zhōng duó qǔ le quán dì ， zhí dào yà nèn hé 。

For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even to the Arnon.

所以那些作诗歌的说： 你们来到希实本； 愿西宏的城被修造，被建立。

suǒ yǐ nà xiē zuò shī gē de shuō ： nǐ men lái dào xī shí běn ； yuàn xī hóng de chéng bèi xiū zào ， bèi jiàn lì 。

Therefore those who speak in proverbs say, “Come to Heshbon. Let the city of Sihon be built and established;

因为有火从希实本发出， 有火焰出于西宏的城， 烧尽摩押的亚珥和亚嫩河邱坛的祭司 。

yīn wèi yǒu huǒ cóng xī shí běn fā chū ， yǒu huǒ yàn chū yú xī hóng de chéng ， shāo jìn mó yā de yà ěr hé yà nèn hé qiū tán de jì sī 。

for a fire has gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon. It has devoured Ar of Moab, The lords of the high places of the Arnon.

摩押啊，你有祸了！ 基抹的民哪，你们灭亡了！ 基抹的男子逃奔， 女子被掳，交付亚摩利的王西宏。

mó yā a ， nǐ yǒu huò le ！ jī mǒ de mín nǎ ， nǐ men miè wáng le ！ jī mǒ de nán zǐ táo bèn ， nǚ zǐ bèi lǔ ， jiāo fù yà mó lì de wáng xī hóng 。

Woe to you, Moab! You are undone, people of Chemosh! He has given his sons as fugitives, and his daughters into captivity, to Sihon king of the Amorites.

我们射了他们； 希实本直到底本尽皆毁灭。 我们使地变成荒场，直到挪法； 这挪法直延到米底巴。

wǒ men shè le tā men ； xī shí běn zhí dào dǐ běn jìn jiē huǐ miè 。 wǒ men shǐ dì biàn chéng huāng chǎng ， zhí dào nuó fǎ ； zhè nuó fǎ zhí yán dào mǐ dǐ bā 。

We have shot at them. Heshbon has perished even to Dibon. We have laid waste even to Nophah, Which reaches to Medeba.”

这样，以色列人就住在亚摩利人之地。

zhè yàng ， yǐ sè liè rén jiù zhù zài yà mó lì rén zhī dì 。

Thus Israel lived in the land of the Amorites.

摩西打发人去窥探雅谢，以色列人就占了雅谢的镇市，赶出那里的亚摩利人。

mó xī dǎ fā rén qù kuī tàn yǎ xiè ， yǐ sè liè rén jiù zhàn le yǎ xiè de zhèn shì ， gǎn chū nà lǐ de yà mó lì rén 。

Moses sent to spy out Jazer. They took its villages, and drove out the Amorites who were there.

以色列人转回，向巴珊去。巴珊王噩和他的众民都出来，在以得来与他们交战。

yǐ sè liè rén zhuǎn huí ， xiàng bā shān qù 。 bā shān wáng è hé tā de zhòng mín dōu chū lái ， zài yǐ dé lái yǔ tā men jiāo zhàn 。

They turned and went up by the way of Bashan. Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

耶和华对摩西说：「不要怕他！因我已将他和他的众民，并他的地，都交在你手中；你要待他像从前待住希实本的亚摩利王西宏一般。」

yē hé huá duì mó xī shuō ：「 bú yào pà tā ！ yīn wǒ yǐ jiāng tā hé tā de zhòng mín ， bìng tā de dì ， dōu jiāo zài nǐ shǒu zhōng ； nǐ yào dài tā xiàng cóng qián dài zhù xī shí běn de yà mó lì wáng xī hóng yì bān 。」

The LORD said to Moses, “Don’t fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people, and his land. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”

于是他们杀了他和他的众子，并他的众民，没有留下一个，就得了他的地。

yú shì tā men shā le tā hé tā de zhòng zǐ ， bìng tā de zhòng mín ， méi yǒu liú xià yí gè ， jiù dé le tā de dì 。

So they struck him, with his sons and all his people, until there were no survivors; and they possessed his land.
