Bible Verses About Love

Love is the thread that runs through the whole Bible. These are the verses people return to most — on the love of God, the love that holds a marriage together, and the patient, selfless love we're called to show one another.

1. 哥林多前书 13:4

   爱是恒久忍耐，又有恩慈；爱是不嫉妒；爱是不自夸，不张狂，

   Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,

   如今常存的有信，有望，有爱这三样，其中最大的是爱。

3. 约翰福音 3:16

   「 神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的，不致灭亡，反得永生。

4. 约翰福音 13:34

5. 罗马书 5:8

   惟有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死， 神的爱就在此向我们显明了。

   But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

6. 约翰一书 4:8

   没有爱心的，就不认识 神，因为 神就是爱。

   He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

7. 约翰一书 4:19

   我们爱，因为 神先爱我们。

   We love him, because he first loved us.

8. 彼得前书 4:8

   最要紧的是彼此切实相爱，因为爱能遮掩许多的罪。

   And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

9. 以弗所书 5:25

   你们作丈夫的，要爱你们的妻子，正如基督爱教会，为教会舍己。

   Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

10. 歌罗西书 3:14

    在这一切之外，要存着爱心，爱心就是联络全德的。

    Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
