Bible Verses About Marriage

From the first pages of Genesis, marriage is pictured as two lives joined into one. These verses are read at weddings and leaned on through the long ordinary years after.

1. 创世记 2:24

   因此，人要离开父母，与妻子连合，二人成为一体。

   Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.

2. 以弗所书 5:25

   你们作丈夫的，要爱你们的妻子，正如基督爱教会，为教会舍己。

   Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

   Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

7. 以弗所书 5:33

   然而，你们各人都当爱妻子，如同爱自己一样。妻子也当敬重她的丈夫。

   Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

8. 箴言 18:22

   得着贤妻的，是得着好处， 也是蒙了耶和华的恩惠。

   Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD.

9. 彼得前书 4:8

   最要紧的是彼此切实相爱，因为爱能遮掩许多的罪。

   And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
