以色列眾人聚集到希伯崙見大衛，說：「我們原是你的骨肉。
yǐ sè liè zhòng rén jù jí dào xī bó jiàn dà wèi ， shuō ：「 wǒ men yuán shì nǐ de gǔ ròu 。
Then all Israel gathered themselves to David to Hebron, saying, “Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
從前掃羅作王的時候，率領以色列人出入的是你；耶和華－你的上帝也曾應許你說：『你必牧養我的民以色列，作以色列的君。』」
cóng qián sǎo luó zuò wáng de shí hòu ， lǜ lǐng yǐ sè liè rén chū rù de shì nǐ ； yē hé huá — nǐ de shén yě céng yìng xǔ nǐ shuō ：『 nǐ bì mù yǎng wǒ de mín yǐ sè liè ， zuò yǐ sè liè de jūn 。』」
In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. The LORD your God said to you, ‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.’”
於是以色列的長老都來到希伯崙見大衛王。大衛在希伯崙耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏大衛作以色列的王，是照耶和華藉撒母耳所說的話。
yú shì yǐ sè liè de zhǎng lǎo dōu lái dào xī bó jiàn dà wèi wáng 。 dà wèi zài xī bó yē hé huá miàn qián yǔ tā men lì yuē ， tā men jiù gāo dà wèi zuò yǐ sè liè de wáng ， shì zhào yē hé huá jiè sā mǔ ěr suǒ shuō de huà 。
So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD. They anointed David king over Israel, according to the LORD’s word by Samuel.
大衛和以色列眾人到了耶路撒冷，就是耶布斯；那時耶布斯人住在那裏。
dà wèi hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén dào le yē lù sā lěng ， jiù shì yē bù sī ； nà shí yē bù sī rén zhù zài nà lǐ 。
David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (also called Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
耶布斯人對大衛說：「你決不能進這地方。」然而大衛攻取錫安的保障，就是大衛的城。
yē bù sī rén duì dà wèi shuō ：「 nǐ jué bù néng jìn zhè dì fāng 。」 rán ér dà wèi gōng qǔ xī ān de bǎo zhàng ， jiù shì dà wèi de chéng 。
The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You will not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.
大衛說：「誰先攻打耶布斯人，必作首領元帥。」洗魯雅的兒子約押先上去，就作了元帥。
dà wèi shuō ：「 shuí xiān gōng dǎ yē bù sī rén ， bì zuò shǒu lǐng yuán shuài 。」 xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yuē yā xiān shàng qù ， jiù zuò le yuán shuài 。
David had said, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, and was made chief.
大衛住在保障裏，所以那保障叫作大衛城。
dà wèi zhù zài bǎo zhàng lǐ ， suǒ yǐ nà bǎo zhàng jiào zuò dà wèi chéng 。
David lived in the stronghold; therefore they called it David’s city.
大衛又從米羅起，四圍建築城牆，其餘的是約押修理。
dà wèi yòu cóng mǐ luó qǐ ， sì wéi jiàn zhù chéng qiáng ， qí yú de shì yuē yā xiū lǐ 。
He built the city all around, from Millo even around; and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
大衛日見強盛，因為萬軍之耶和華與他同在。
dà wèi rì jiàn qiáng shèng ， yīn wèi wàn jūn zhī yē hé huá yǔ tā tóng zài 。
David grew greater and greater, for the LORD of Armies was with him.
以下記錄跟隨大衛勇士的首領，就是奮勇幫助他得國、照着耶和華吩咐以色列人的話、與以色列人一同立他作王的。
yǐ xià jì lù gēn suí dà wèi yǒng shì de shǒu lǐng ， jiù shì fèn yǒng bāng zhù tā dé guó 、 zhào zhe yē hé huá fēn fù yǐ sè liè rén de huà 、 yǔ yǐ sè liè rén yì tóng lì tā zuò wáng de 。
Now these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who showed themselves strong with him in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to the LORD’s word concerning Israel.
大衛勇士的數目記在下面：哈革摩尼的兒子雅朔班，他是軍長的統領，一時舉槍殺了三百人。
dà wèi yǒng shì de shù mù jì zài xià miàn ： hā gé mó ní de ér zi yǎ shuò bān ， tā shì jūn zhǎng de tǒng lǐng ， yì shí jǔ qiāng shā le sān bǎi rén 。
This is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them at one time.
其次是亞合人朵多的兒子以利亞撒，他是三個勇士裏的一個。
qí cì shì yà hé rén duǒ duō de ér zi yǐ lì yà sā ， tā shì sān gè yǒng shì lǐ de yí gè 。
After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.
他從前與大衛在巴斯‧達閔，非利士人聚集要打仗。那裏有一塊長滿大麥的田，眾民就在非利士人面前逃跑；
tā cóng qián yǔ dà wèi zài bā sī · dá mǐn ， fēi lì shì rén jù jí yào dǎ zhàng 。 nà lǐ yǒu yí kuài cháng mǎn dà mài de tián ， zhòng mín jiù zài fēi lì shì rén miàn qián táo pǎo ；
He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.
這勇士便站在那田間擊殺非利士人，救護了那田。耶和華使以色列人大獲全勝。
zhè yǒng shì biàn zhàn zài nà tián jiān jī shā fēi lì shì rén ， jiù hù le nà tián 。 yē hé huá shǐ yǐ sè liè rén dà huò quán shèng 。
They stood in the middle of the plot, defended it, and killed the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great victory.
三十個勇士中的三個人下到磐石那裏，進了亞杜蘭洞見大衛；非利士的軍隊在利乏音谷安營。
sān shí gè yǒng shì zhōng de sān gè rén xià dào pán shí nà lǐ ， jìn le yà dù lán dòng jiàn dà wèi ； fēi lì shì de jūn duì zài lì fá yīn gǔ ān yíng 。
Three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the army of the Philistines were encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
那時大衛在山寨，非利士人的防營在伯利恆。
nà shí dà wèi zài shān zhài ， fēi lì shì rén de fáng yíng zài bó lì héng 。
David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was in Bethlehem at that time.
大衛渴想，說：「甚願有人將伯利恆城門旁井裏的水打來給我喝！」
dà wèi kě xiǎng ， shuō ：「 shèn yuàn yǒu rén jiāng bó lì héng chéng mén páng jǐng lǐ de shuǐ dǎ lái gěi wǒ hē ！」
David longed, and said, “Oh, that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”
這三個勇士就闖過非利士人的營盤，從伯利恆城門旁的井裏打水，拿來奉給大衛。他卻不肯喝，將水奠在耶和華面前，
zhè sān gè yǒng shì jiù chuǎng guò fēi lì shì rén de yíng pán ， cóng bó lì héng chéng mén páng de jǐng lǐ dǎ shuǐ ， ná lái fèng gěi dà wèi 。 tā què bù kěn hē ， jiāng shuǐ diàn zài yē hé huá miàn qián ，
The three broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, took it, and brought it to David; but David would not drink any of it, but poured it out to the LORD,
說：「我的上帝啊，這三個人冒死去打水，這水好像他們的血一般，我斷不敢喝！」如此，大衛不肯喝。這是三個勇士所做的事。
shuō ：「 wǒ de shén a ， zhè sān gè rén mào sǐ qù dǎ shuǐ ， zhè shuǐ hǎo xiàng tā men de xuè yì bān ， wǒ duàn bù gǎn hē ！」 rú cǐ ， dà wèi bù kěn hē 。 zhè shì sān gè yǒng shì suǒ zuò de shì 。
and said, “My God forbid me, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy?” For they risked their lives to bring it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.
約押的兄弟亞比篩是這三個勇士的首領；他舉槍殺了三百人，就在三個勇士裏得了名。
yuē yā de xiōng dì yà bǐ shāi shì zhè sān gè yǒng shì de shǒu lǐng ； tā jǔ qiāng shā le sān bǎi rén ， jiù zài sān gè yǒng shì lǐ dé le míng 。
Abishai, the brother of Joab, was chief of the three; for he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name among the three.
他在這三個勇士裏是最尊貴的，所以作他們的首領；只是不及前三個勇士。
tā zài zhè sān gè yǒng shì lǐ shì zuì zūn guì de ， suǒ yǐ zuò tā men de shǒu lǐng ； zhǐ shì bù jí qián sān gè yǒng shì 。
Of the three, he was more honorable than the two, and was made their captain; however he wasn’t included in the three.
有甲薛勇士耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅行過大能的事：他殺了摩押人亞利伊勒的兩個兒子，又在下雪的時候下坑裏去殺了一個獅子，
yǒu jiǎ xuē yǒng shì yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ xíng guò dà néng de shì ： tā shā le mó yā rén yà lì yī lè de liǎng gè ér zi ， yòu zài xià xuě de shí hòu xià kēng lǐ qù shā le yí gè shī zi ，
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, killed the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit on a snowy day.
又殺了一個埃及人。埃及人身高五肘，手裏拿着槍，槍桿粗如織布的機軸；比拿雅只拿着棍子下去，從埃及人手裏奪過槍來，用那槍將他刺死。
yòu shā le yí gè āi jí rén 。 āi jí rén shēn gāo wǔ zhǒu ， shǒu lǐ ná zhe qiāng ， qiāng gǎn cū rú zhī bù de jī zhóu ； bǐ ná yǎ zhī ná zhe gùn zi xià qù ， cóng āi jí rén shǒu lǐ duó guò qiāng lái ， yòng nà qiāng jiāng tā cì sǐ 。
He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high. In the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam; and he went down to him with a staff, plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear.
這是耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅所行的事，就在三個勇士裏得了名。
zhè shì yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ suǒ xíng de shì ， jiù zài sān gè yǒng shì lǐ dé le míng 。
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did these things and had a name among the three mighty men.
他比那三十個勇士都尊貴，只是不及前三個勇士。大衛立他作護衛長。
tā bǐ nà sān shí gè yǒng shì dōu zūn guì ， zhǐ shì bù jí qián sān gè yǒng shì 。 dà wèi lì tā zuò hù wèi cháng 。
Behold, he was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn’t attain to the three; and David set him over his guard.
軍中的勇士有約押的兄弟亞撒黑，伯利恆人朵多的兒子伊勒哈難，
jūn zhōng de yǒng shì yǒu yuē yā de xiōng dì yà sā hēi ， bó lì héng rén duǒ duō de ér zi yī lè hā nán ，
The mighty men of the armies also include Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
提哥亞人益吉的兒子以拉，亞拿突人亞比以謝，
tí gē yà rén yì jí de ér zi yǐ lā ， yà ná tū rén yà bǐ yǐ xiè ，
Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,
尼陀法人瑪哈萊，尼陀法人巴拿的兒子希立，
ní tuó fǎ rén mǎ hā lái ， ní tuó fǎ rén bā ná de ér zi xī lì ，
Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of Baanah the Netophathite,
便雅憫族基比亞人利拜的兒子以太，比拉頓人比拿雅，
biàn yǎ mǐn zú jī bǐ yà rén lì bài de ér zi yǐ tài ， bǐ lā dùn rén bǐ ná yǎ ，
Ithai the son of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
迦實溪人戶萊，亞拉巴人亞比，
jiā shí xī rén hù lái ， yà lā bā rén yà bǐ ，
Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
巴路米人押斯瑪弗，沙本人以利雅哈巴，
bā lù mǐ rén yā sī mǎ fú ， shā běn rén yǐ lì yǎ hā bā ，
Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,
基孫人哈深的眾子，哈拉人沙基的兒子約拿單，
jī sūn rén hā shēn de zhòng zǐ ， hā lā rén shā jī de ér zi yuē ná dān ，
the sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan the son of Shagee the Hararite,
