大衛與千夫長、百夫長，就是一切首領商議。

dà wèi yǔ qiān fū cháng 、 bǎi fū zhǎng ， jiù shì yí qiè shǒu lǐng shāng yì 。

David consulted with the captains of thousands and of hundreds, even with every leader.

大衛對以色列全會眾說：「你們若以為美，見這事是出於耶和華－我們的上帝，我們就差遣人走遍以色列地，見我們未來的弟兄，又見住在有郊野之城的祭司利未人，使他們都到這裏來聚集。

dà wèi duì yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng shuō ：「 nǐ men ruò yǐ wéi měi ， jiàn zhè shì shì chū yú yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén ， wǒ men jiù chāi qiǎn rén zǒu biàn yǐ sè liè dì ， jiàn wǒ men wèi lái de dì xiong ， yòu jiàn zhù zài yǒu jiāo yě zhī chéng de jì sī lì wèi rén ， shǐ tā men dōu dào zhè lǐ lái jù jí 。

David said to all the assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if it is of the LORD our God, let’s send word everywhere to our brothers who are left in all the land of Israel, with whom the priests and Levites are in their cities that have pasture lands, that they may gather themselves to us.

我們要把上帝的約櫃運到我們這裏來；因為在掃羅年間，我們沒有在約櫃前求問上帝。」

wǒ men yào bǎ shén de yuē guì yùn dào wǒ men zhè lǐ lái ； yīn wèi zài sǎo luó nián jiān ， wǒ men méi yǒu zài yuē guì qián qiú wèn shén 。」

Also, let’s bring the ark of our God back to us again, for we didn’t seek it in the days of Saul.”

全會眾都說可以如此行；這事在眾民眼中都看為好。

quán huì zhòng dōu shuō kě yǐ rú cǐ xíng ； zhè shì zài zhòng mín yǎn zhōng dū kàn wèi hǎo 。

All the assembly said that they would do so, for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

於是，大衛將以色列人從埃及的西曷河直到哈馬口都招聚了來，要從基列‧耶琳將上帝的約櫃運來。

yú shì ， dà wèi jiāng yǐ sè liè rén cóng āi jí de xī hé hé zhí dào hā mǎ kǒu dōu zhāo jù le lái ， yào cóng jī liè · yē lín jiāng shén de yuē guì yùn lái 。

So David assembled all Israel together, from the Shihor River of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath, to bring God’s ark from Kiriath Jearim.

大衛率領以色列眾人上到巴拉，就是屬猶大的基列‧耶琳，要從那裏將約櫃運來。這約櫃就是坐在二基路伯上耶和華上帝留名的約櫃。

dà wèi shuài lǐng yǐ sè liè zhòng rén shàng dào bā lā ， jiù shì shǔ yóu dà de jī liè · yē lín ， yào cóng nà lǐ jiāng yuē guì yùn lái 。 zhè yuē guì jiù shì zuò zài èr jī lù bó shàng yē hé huá shén liú míng de yuē guì 。

David went up with all Israel to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there God the LORD’s ark that sits above the cherubim, that is called by the Name.

他們將上帝的約櫃從亞比拿達的家裏抬出來，放在新車上。烏撒和亞希約趕車。

tā men jiāng shén de yuē guì cóng yà bǐ ná dá de jiā lǐ tái chū lái ， fàng zài xīn chē shàng 。 wū sā hé yà xī yuē gǎn chē 。

They carried God’s ark on a new cart, and brought it out of Abinadab’s house; and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart.

大衛和以色列眾人在上帝前用琴、瑟、鑼、鼓、號作樂，極力跳舞歌唱。

dà wèi hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén zài shén qián yòng qín 、 sè 、 luó 、 gǔ 、 hào zuò lè ， jí lì tiào wǔ gē chàng 。

David and all Israel played before God with all their might, even with songs, with harps, with stringed instruments, with tambourines, with cymbals, and with trumpets.

到了基頓 的禾場；因為牛失前蹄 ，烏撒就伸手扶住約櫃。

dào le jī dùn de hé chǎng ； yīn wèi niú shī qián tí ， wū sā jiù shēn shǒu fú zhù yuē guì 。

When they came to Chidon’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled.

耶和華向他發怒，因他伸手扶住約櫃擊殺他，他就死在上帝面前。

yē hé huá xiàng tā fā nù ， yīn tā shēn shǒu fú zhù yuē guì jī shā tā ， tā jiù sǐ zài shén miàn qián 。

The LORD’s anger burned against Uzza, and he struck him because he put his hand on the ark; and he died there before God.

大衛因耶和華擊殺 烏撒，心裏愁煩，就稱那地方為毗列斯‧烏撒，直到今日。

dà wèi yīn yē hé huá jī shā wū sā ， xīn lǐ chóu fán ， jiù chēng nà dì fāng wèi pí liè sī · wū sā ， zhí dào jīn rì 。

David was displeased, because the LORD had broken out against Uzza. He called that place Perez Uzza, to this day.

那日，大衛懼怕上帝，說：「上帝的約櫃怎可運到我這裏來？」

nà rì ， dà wèi jù pà shén ， shuō ：「 shén de yuē guì zěn kě yùn dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái ？」

David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring God’s ark home to me?”

於是大衛不將約櫃運進大衛的城，卻運到迦特人俄別‧以東的家中。

yú shì dà wèi bù jiāng yuē guì yùn jìn dà wèi de chéng ， què yùn dào jiā tè rén é bié · yǐ dōng de jiā zhōng 。

So David didn’t move the ark with him into David’s city, but carried it aside into Obed-Edom the Gittite’s house.

上帝的約櫃在俄別‧以東家中三個月，耶和華賜福給俄別‧以東的家和他一切所有的。

shén de yuē guì zài é bié · yǐ dōng jiā zhōng sān gè yuè ， yē hé huá cì fú gěi é bié · yǐ dōng de jiā hé tā yí qiè suǒ yǒu de 。

God’s ark remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house three months; and the LORD blessed Obed-Edom’s house and all that he had.
