此後，大衛攻打非利士人，把他們治服，從他們手下奪取了迦特和屬迦特的村莊；

cǐ hòu ， dà wèi gōng dǎ fēi lì shì rén ， bǎ tā men zhì fú ， cóng tā men shǒu xià duó qǔ le jiā tè hé shǔ jiā tè de cūn zhuāng ；

After this, David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and took Gath and its towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

又攻打摩押，摩押人就歸服大衛，給他進貢。

yòu gōng dǎ mó yā ， mó yā rén jiù guī fú dà wèi ， gěi tā jìn gòng 。

He defeated Moab; and the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute.

瑣巴王哈大利謝 往幼發拉底河去，要堅定自己的國權，大衛就攻打他，直到哈馬，

suǒ bā wáng hā dà lì xiè wǎng yòu fā lā dǐ hé qù ， yào jiān dìng zì jǐ de guó quán ， dà wèi jiù gōng dǎ tā ， zhí dào hā mǎ ，

David defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah, toward Hamath, as he went to establish his dominion by the river Euphrates.

奪了他的戰車一千，馬兵七千，步兵二萬，將拉戰車的馬砍斷蹄筋，但留下一百輛車的馬。

duó le tā de zhàn chē yì qiān ， mǎ bīng qī qiān ， bù bīng èr wàn ， jiāng lā zhàn chē de mǎ kǎn duàn tí jīn ， dàn liú xià yì bǎi liàng chē de mǎ 。

David took from him one thousand chariots, seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen; and David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but reserved of them enough for one hundred chariots.

大馬士革的亞蘭人來幫助瑣巴王哈大利謝，大衛就殺了亞蘭人二萬二千。

dà mǎ shì gé de yà lán rén lái bāng zhù suǒ bā wáng hā dà lì xiè ， dà wèi jiù shā le yà lán rén èr wàn èr qiān 。

When the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck twenty-two thousand men of the Syrians.

於是大衛在大馬士革的亞蘭地設立防營，亞蘭人就歸服他，給他進貢。大衛無論往哪裏去，耶和華都使他得勝。

yú shì dà wèi zài dà mǎ shì gé de yà lán dì shè lì fáng yíng ， yà lán rén jiù guī fú tā ， gěi tā jìn gòng 。 dà wèi wú lùn wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， yē hé huá dōu shǐ tā dé shèng 。

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

他奪了哈大利謝臣僕所拿的金盾牌帶到耶路撒冷。

tā duó le hā dà lì xiè chén pú suǒ ná de jīn dùn pái dài dào yē lù sā lěng 。

David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

大衛又從屬哈大利謝的提巴 和均二城中奪取了許多的銅。後來所羅門用此製造銅海、銅柱，和一切的銅器。

dà wèi yòu cóng shǔ hā dà lì xiè de tí bā hé jūn èr chéng zhōng duó qǔ le xǔ duō de tóng 。 hòu lái suǒ luó mén yòng cǐ zhì zào tóng hǎi 、 tóng zhù ， hé yí qiè de tóng qì 。

From Tibhath and from Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took very much bronze, with which Solomon made the bronze sea, the pillars, and the vessels of bronze.

哈馬王陀烏聽見大衛殺敗瑣巴王哈大利謝的全軍，

hā mǎ wáng tuó wū tīng jiàn dà wèi shā bài suǒ bā wáng hā dà lì xiè de quán jūn ，

When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had struck all the army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,

就打發他兒子哈多蘭去見大衛王，問他的安，為他祝福，因為他殺敗了哈大利謝（原來陀烏與哈大利謝常常爭戰）。哈多蘭帶了金銀銅的各樣器皿來。

jiù dǎ fā tā ér zi hā duō lán qù jiàn dà wèi wáng ， wèn tā de ān ， wèi tā zhù fú ， yīn wèi tā shā bài le hā dà lì xiè （ yuán lái tuó wū yǔ hā dà lì xiè cháng cháng zhēng zhàn ）。 hā duō lán dài le jīn yín tóng de gè yàng qì mǐn lái 。

he sent Hadoram his son to King David to greet him and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and struck him (for Hadadezer had wars with Tou); and he had with him all kinds of vessels of gold and silver and bronze.

大衛王將這些器皿，並從各國奪來的金銀，就是從以東、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞瑪力人所奪來的，都分別為聖獻給耶和華。

dà wèi wáng jiāng zhè xiē qì mǐn ， bìng cóng gè guó duó lái de jīn yín ， jiù shì cóng yǐ dōng 、 mó yā 、 yà mén 、 fēi lì shì 、 yà mǎ lì rén suǒ duó lái de ， dōu fēn bié wèi shèng xiàn gěi yē hé huá 。

King David also dedicated these to the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he carried away from all the nations: from Edom, from Moab, from the children of Ammon, from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩在鹽谷擊殺了以東一萬八千人。

xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yà bǐ shāi zài yán gǔ jī shā le yǐ dōng yí wàn bā qiān rén 。

Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah struck eighteen thousand of the Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

大衛在以東地設立防營，以東人就都歸服他。大衛無論往哪裏去，耶和華都使他得勝。

dà wèi zài yǐ dōng dì shè lì fáng yíng ， yǐ dōng rén jiù dōu guī fú tā 。 dà wèi wú lùn wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， yē hé huá dōu shǐ tā dé shèng 。

He put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became servants to David. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

大衛作以色列眾人的王，又向眾民秉公行義。

dà wèi zuò yǐ sè liè zhòng rén de wáng ， yòu xiàng zhòng mín bǐng gōng xíng yì 。

David reigned over all Israel; and he executed justice and righteousness for all his people.

洗魯雅的兒子約押作元帥；亞希律的兒子約沙法作史官；

xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yuē yā zuò yuán shuài ； yà xī lǜ de ér zi yuē shā fǎ zuò shǐ guān ；

Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;

亞希突的兒子撒督和亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒作祭司長；沙威沙作書記；

yà xī tū de ér zǐ sā dū hé yà bǐ yà tā de ér zi yà xī mǐ lè zuò jì sī zhǎng ； shā wēi shā zuò shū jì ；

Zadok the son of Ahitub and Abimelech the son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was scribe;

耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統轄基利提人和比利提人。大衛的眾子都在王的左右作領袖。

yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ tǒng xiá jī lì tí rén hé bǐ lì tí rén 。 dà wèi de zhòng zǐ dōu zài wáng de zuǒ yòu zuò lǐng xiù 。

and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief officials serving the king.
