那時，耶羅波安的兒子亞比雅病了。

nà shí ， yē luó bō ān de ér zi yà bǐ yǎ bìng le 。

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became sick.

耶羅波安對他的妻說：「你可以起來改裝，使人不知道你是耶羅波安的妻，往示羅去，在那裏有先知亞希雅。他曾告訴我說，你必作這民的王。

yē luó bō ān duì tā de qī shuō ：「 nǐ kě yǐ qǐ lái gǎi zhuāng ， shǐ rén bù zhī dào nǐ shì yē luó bō ān de qī ， wǎng shì luó qù ， zài nà lǐ yǒu xiān zhī yà xī yǎ 。 tā céng gào sù wǒ shuō ， nǐ bì zuò zhè mín de wáng 。

Jeroboam said to his wife, “Please get up and disguise yourself, so that you won’t be recognized as Jeroboam’s wife. Go to Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who said that I would be king over this people.

現在你要帶十個餅，與幾個薄餅，和一瓶蜜去見他，他必告訴你兒子將要怎樣。」

xiàn zài nǐ yào dài shí gè bǐng ， yǔ jǐ gè báo bǐng ， hé yì píng mì qù jiàn tā ， tā bì gào sù nǐ ér zi jiāng yào zěn yàng 。」

Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”

耶羅波安的妻就這樣行，起身往示羅去，到了亞希雅的家。亞希雅因年紀老邁，眼目發直，不能看見。

yē luó bō ān de qī jiù zhè yàng xíng ， qǐ shēn wǎng shì luó qù ， dào le yà xī yǎ de jiā 。 yà xī yǎ yīn nián jì lǎo mài ， yǎn mù fā zhí ， bù néng kàn jiàn 。

Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose and went to Shiloh, and came to Ahijah’s house. Now Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were set by reason of his age.

耶和華先曉諭亞希雅說：「耶羅波安的妻要來問你，因她兒子病了，你當如此如此告訴她。她進來的時候必裝作別的婦人。」

yē hé huá xiān xiǎo yù yà xī yǎ shuō ：「 yē luó bō ān de qī yào lái wèn nǐ ， yīn tā ér zi bìng le ， nǐ dāng rú cǐ rú cǐ gào sù tā 。 tā jìn lái de shí hòu bì zhuāng zuò bié de fù rén 。」

The LORD said to Ahijah, “Behold, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Tell her such and such; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

她剛進門，亞希雅聽見她腳步的響聲，就說：「耶羅波安的妻，進來吧！你為何裝作別的婦人呢？我奉差遣將凶事告訴你。

tā gāng jìn mén ， yà xī yǎ tīng jiàn tā jiǎo bù de xiǎng shēng ， jiù shuō ：「 yē luó bō ān de qī ， jìn lái ba ！ nǐ wèi hé zhuāng zuò bié de fù rén ne ？ wǒ fèng chāi qiǎn jiāng xiōng shì gào sù nǐ 。

So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, Jeroboam’s wife! Why do you pretend to be another? For I am sent to you with heavy news.

你回去告訴耶羅波安說：『耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：我從民中將你高舉，立你作我民以色列的君，

nǐ huí qù gào sù yē luó bō ān shuō ：『 yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén rú cǐ shuō ： wǒ cóng mín zhōng jiàng nǐ gāo jǔ ， lì nǐ zuò wǒ mín yǐ sè liè de jūn ，

Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘The LORD, the God of Israel, says: “Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you prince over my people Israel,

將國從大衛家奪回賜給你；你卻不效法我僕人大衛，遵守我的誡命，一心順從我，行我眼中看為正的事。

jiāng guó cóng dà wèi jiā duó huí cì gěi nǐ ； nǐ què bú xiào fǎ wǒ pú rén dà wèi ， zūn shǒu wǒ de jiè mìng ， yì xīn shùn cóng wǒ ， xíng wǒ yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì 。

and tore the kingdom away from David’s house, and gave it to you; and yet you have not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in my eyes,

你竟行惡，比那在你以先的更甚，為自己立了別神，鑄了偶像，惹我發怒，將我丟在背後。

nǐ jìng xíng è ， bǐ nà zài nǐ yǐ xiān de gèng shèn ， wèi zì jǐ lì le bié shén ， zhù le ǒu xiàng ， rě wǒ fā nù ， jiāng wǒ diū zài bèi hòu 。

but have done evil above all who were before you, and have gone and made for yourself other gods, molten images, to provoke me to anger, and have cast me behind your back,

因此，我必使災禍臨到耶羅波安的家，將屬耶羅波安的男丁，無論困住的、自由的都從以色列中剪除，必除盡耶羅波安的家，如人除盡糞土一般。

yīn cǐ ， wǒ bì shǐ zāi huò lín dào yē luó bō ān de jiā ， jiāng shǔ yē luó bō ān de nán dīng ， wú lùn kùn zhù de 、 zì yóu de dōu cóng yǐ sè liè zhōng jiǎn chú ， bì chú jìn yē luó bō ān de jiā ， rú rén chú jìn fèn tǔ yì bān 。

therefore, behold, I will bring evil on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam everyone who urinates on a wall, he who is shut up and he who is left at large in Israel, and will utterly sweep away the house of Jeroboam, as a man sweeps away dung until it is all gone.

凡屬耶羅波安的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鳥吃。這是耶和華說的。』

fán shǔ yē luó bō ān de rén ， sǐ zài chéng zhōng de bì bèi gǒu chī ， sǐ zài tián yě de bì bèi kōng zhōng de niǎo chī 。 zhè shì yē hé huá shuō de 。』

The dogs will eat he who belongs to Jeroboam who dies in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat he who dies in the field, for the LORD has spoken it.”’

所以你起身回家去吧！你的腳一進城，你兒子就必死了。

suǒ yǐ nǐ qǐ shēn huí jiā qù ba ！ nǐ de jiǎo yí jìn chéng ， nǐ ér zi jiù bì sǐ le 。

Arise therefore, and go to your house. When your feet enter into the city, the child will die.

以色列眾人必為他哀哭，將他葬埋。凡屬耶羅波安的人，惟有他得入墳墓；因為在耶羅波安的家中，只有他向耶和華－以色列的上帝顯出善行。

yǐ sè liè zhòng rén bì wèi tā āi kū ， jiāng tā zàng mái 。 fán shǔ yē luó bō ān de rén ， wéi yǒu tā dé rù fén mù ； yīn wèi zài yē luó bō ān de jiā zhōng ， zhǐ yǒu tā xiàng yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén xiǎn chū shàn xíng 。

All Israel will mourn for him and bury him; for he only of Jeroboam will come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD, the God of Israel, in the house of Jeroboam.

耶和華必另立一王治理以色列。到了日期，他必剪除耶羅波安的家；那日期已經到了。

yē hé huá bì lìng lì yì wáng zhì lǐ yǐ sè liè 。 dào le rì qī ， tā bì jiǎn chú yē luó bō ān de jiā ； nà rì qī yǐ jīng dào le 。

Moreover the LORD will raise up a king for himself over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam. This is the day! What? Even now.

耶和華必擊打以色列人，使他們搖動，像水中的蘆葦一般；又將他們從耶和華賜給他們列祖的美地上拔出來，分散在大河那邊；因為他們做木偶，惹耶和華發怒。

yē hé huá bì jī dǎ yǐ sè liè rén ， shǐ tā men yáo dòng ， xiàng shuǐ zhōng de lú wěi yì bān ； yòu jiāng tā men cóng yē hé huá cì gěi tā men liè zǔ de měi dì shàng bá chū lái ， fēn sàn zài dà hé nà biān ； yīn wèi tā men zuò mù ǒu ， rě yē hé huá fà nù 。

For the LORD will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and he will root up Israel out of this good land which he gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River, because they have made their Asherah poles, provoking the LORD to anger.

因耶羅波安所犯的罪，又使以色列人陷在罪裏，耶和華必將以色列人交給仇敵。」

yīn yē luó bō ān suǒ fàn de zuì ， yòu shǐ yǐ sè liè rén xiàn zài zuì lǐ ， yē hé huá bì jiāng yǐ sè liè rén jiāo gěi chóu dí 。」

He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he has sinned, and with which he has made Israel to sin.”

耶羅波安的妻起身回去，到了得撒，剛到門檻，兒子就死了。

yē luó bō ān de qī qǐ shēn huí qù ， dào liǎo dé sā ， gāng dào mén kǎn ， ér zi jiù sǐ le 。

Jeroboam’s wife arose and departed, and came to Tirzah. As she came to the threshold of the house, the child died.

以色列眾人將他葬埋，為他哀哭，正如耶和華藉他僕人先知亞希雅所說的話。

yǐ sè liè zhòng rén jiāng tā zàng mái ， wèi tā āi kū ， zhèng rú yē hé huá jiè tā pú rén xiān zhī yà xī yǎ suǒ shuō de huà 。

All Israel buried him and mourned for him, according to the LORD’s word, which he spoke by his servant Ahijah the prophet.

耶羅波安其餘的事，他怎樣爭戰，怎樣作王，都寫在以色列諸王記上。

yē luó bō ān qí yú de shì ， tā zěn yàng zhēng zhàn ， zěn yàng zuò wáng ， dōu xiě zài yǐ sè liè zhū wáng jì shàng 。

The rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he fought and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

耶羅波安作王二十二年，就與他列祖同睡。他兒子拿答接續他作王。

yē luó bō ān zuò wáng èr shí èr nián ， jiù yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì 。 tā ér zi ná dá jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

The days which Jeroboam reigned were twenty two years; then he slept with his fathers, and Nadab his son reigned in his place.

所羅門的兒子羅波安作猶大王。他登基的時候年四十一歲，在耶路撒冷，就是耶和華從以色列眾支派中所選擇立他名的城，作王十七年。羅波安的母親名叫拿瑪，是亞捫人。

suǒ luó mén de ér zǐ luó bō ān zuò yóu dà wáng 。 tā dēng jī de shí hòu nián sì shí yī suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng ， jiù shì yē hé huá cóng yǐ sè liè zhòng zhī pài zhōng suǒ xuǎn zé lì tā míng de chéng ， zuò wáng shí qī nián 。 luó bō ān de mǔ qīn míng jiào ná mǎ ， shì yà mén rén 。

Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. His mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

猶大人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，犯罪觸動他的憤恨，比他們列祖更甚。

yóu dà rén xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi è de shì ， fàn zuì chù dòng tā de fèn hèn ， bǐ tā men liè zǔ gèng shèn 。

Judah did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they committed, above all that their fathers had done.

因為他們在各高岡上，各青翠樹下築壇，立柱像和木偶。

yīn wèi tā men zài gè gāo gāng shàng ， gè qīng cuì shù xià zhù tán ， lì zhù xiàng hé mù ǒu 。

For they also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars, and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree.

國中也有孌童。猶大人效法耶和華在以色列人面前所趕出的外邦人，行一切可憎惡的事。

guó zhōng yě yǒu luán tóng 。 yóu dà rén xiào fǎ yē hé huá zài yǐ sè liè rén miàn qián suǒ gǎn chū de wài bāng rén ， xíng yí qiè kě zēng wù de shì 。

There were also sodomites in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD drove out before the children of Israel.

羅波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上來攻取耶路撒冷，

luó bō ān wáng dì wǔ nián ， āi jí wáng shì sā shàng lái gōng qǔ yē lù sā lěng ，

In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem;

奪了耶和華殿和王宮裏的寶物，盡都帶走，又奪去所羅門製造的金盾牌。

duó le yē hé huá diàn hé wáng gōng lǐ de bǎo wù ， jìn dōu dài zǒu ， yòu duó qù suǒ luó mén zhì zào de jīn dùn pái 。

and he took away the treasures of the LORD’s house and the treasures of the king’s house. He even took away all of it, including all the gold shields which Solomon had made.

羅波安王製造銅盾牌代替那金盾牌，交給守王宮門的護衛長看守。

luó bō ān wáng zhì zào tóng dùn pái dài tì nà jīn dùn pái ， jiāo gěi shǒu wáng gōng mén de hù wèi cháng kān shǒu 。

King Rehoboam made shields of bronze in their place, and committed them to the hands of the captains of the guard, who kept the door of the king’s house.

王每逢進耶和華的殿，護衛兵就拿這盾牌，隨後仍將盾牌送回，放在護衛房。

wáng měi féng jìn yē hé huá de diàn ， hù wèi bīng jiù ná zhè dùn pái ， suí hòu réng jiāng dùn pái sòng huí ， fàng zài hù wèi fáng 。

It was so, that as often as the king went into the LORD’s house, the guard bore them, and brought them back into the guard room.

羅波安其餘的事，凡他所行的，都寫在猶大列王記上。

luó bō ān qí yú de shì ， fán tā suǒ xíng de ， dōu xiě zài yóu dà liè wáng jì shàng 。

Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

羅波安與耶羅波安時常爭戰。

luó bō ān yǔ yē luó bō ān shí cháng zhēng zhàn 。

There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.

羅波安與他列祖同睡，葬在大衛城他列祖的墳地裏。他母親名叫拿瑪，是亞捫人。他兒子亞比央 接續他作王。

luó bō ān yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì ， zàng zài dà wèi chéng tā liè zǔ de fén dì lǐ 。 tā mǔ qīn míng jiào ná mǎ ， shì yà mén rén 。 tā ér zi yà bǐ yāng jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in David’s city. His mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess. Abijam his son reigned in his place.
