第三日，大衛和跟隨他的人到了洗革拉。亞瑪力人已經侵奪南地，攻破洗革拉，用火焚燒，

dì sān rì ， dà wèi hé gēn suí tā de rén dào le xǐ gé lā 。 yà mǎ lì rén yǐ jīng qīn duó nán dì ， gōng pò xǐ gé lā ， yòng huǒ fén shāo ，

When David and his men had come to Ziklag on the third day, the Amalekites had made a raid on the South and on Ziklag, and had struck Ziklag and burned it with fire,

擄了城內的婦女和其中的大小人口，卻沒有殺一個，都帶着走了。

lǔ le chéng nèi de fù nǚ hé qí zhōng de dà xiǎo rén kǒu ， què méi yǒu shā yí gè ， dōu dài zhe zǒu le 。

and had taken captive the women and all who were in it, both small and great. They didn’t kill any, but carried them off and went their way.

大衛和跟隨他的人到了那城，不料，城已燒毀，他們的妻子兒女都被擄去了。

dà wèi hé gēn suí tā de rén dào le nà chéng ， bú liào ， chéng yǐ shāo huǐ ， tā men de qī zǐ ér nǚ dōu bèi lǔ qù le 。

When David and his men came to the city, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters were taken captive.

大衛和跟隨他的人就放聲大哭，直哭得沒有氣力。

dà wèi hé gēn suí tā de rén jiù fàng shēng dà kū ， zhí kū dé méi yǒu qì lì 。

Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voice and wept until they had no more power to weep.

大衛的兩個妻－耶斯列人亞希暖和作過拿八妻的迦密人亞比該，也被擄去了。

dà wèi de liǎng gè qī — yē sī liè rén yà xī nuǎn huo zuò guò ná bā qī de jiā mì rén yà bǐ gāi ， yě bèi lǔ qù le 。

David’s two wives were taken captive, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

大衛甚是焦急，因眾人為自己的兒女苦惱，說：「要用石頭打死他。」大衛卻倚靠耶和華－他的上帝，心裏堅固。

dà wèi shèn shì jiāo jí ， yīn zhòng rén wéi zì jǐ de ér nǚ kǔ nǎo ， shuō ：「 yào yòng shí tóu dǎ sǐ tā 。」 dà wèi què yǐ kào yē hé huá — tā de shén ， xīn lǐ jiān gù 。

David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the souls of all the people were grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters; but David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子祭司亞比亞他說：「請你將以弗得拿過來。」亞比亞他就將以弗得拿到大衛面前。

dà wèi duì yà xī mǐ lè de ér zi jì sī yà bǐ yà tā shuō ：「 qǐng nǐ jiāng yǐ fú dé ná guò lái 。」 yà bǐ yà tā jiù jiāng yǐ fú dé ná dào dà wèi miàn qián 。

David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

大衛求問耶和華說：「我追趕敵軍，追得上追不上呢？」耶和華說：「你可以追，必追得上，都救得回來。」

dà wèi qiú wèn yē hé huá shuō ：「 wǒ zhuī gǎn dí jūn ， zhuī dé shàng zhuī bú shàng ne ？」 yē hé huá shuō ：「 nǐ kě yǐ zhuī ， bì zhuī dé shàng ， dōu jiù dé huí lái 。」

David inquired of the LORD, saying, “If I pursue after this troop, will I overtake them?” He answered him, “Pursue, for you will surely overtake them, and will without fail recover all.”

於是，大衛和跟隨他的六百人來到比梭溪；有不能前去的就留在那裏。

yú shì ， dà wèi hé gēn suí tā de liù bǎi rén lái dào bǐ suō xī ； yǒu bù néng qián qù de jiù liú zài nà lǐ 。

So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those who were left behind stayed.

大衛卻帶着四百人往前追趕，有二百人疲乏，不能過比梭溪，所以留在那裏。

dà wèi què dài zhe sì bǎi rén wǎng qián zhuī gǎn ， yǒu èr bǎi rén pí fá ， bù néng guò bǐ suō xī ， suǒ yǐ liú zài nà lǐ 。

But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so faint that they couldn’t go over the brook Besor.

這四百人在田野遇見一個埃及人，就帶他到大衛面前，給他餅吃，給他水喝，

zhè sì bǎi rén zài tián yě yù jiàn yí gè āi jí rén ， jiù dài tā dào dà wèi miàn qián ， gěi tā bǐng chī ， gěi tā shuǐ hē ，

They found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he ate; and they gave him water to drink.

又給他一塊無花果餅，兩個葡萄餅。他吃了，就精神復原；因為他三日三夜沒有吃餅，沒有喝水。

yòu gěi tā yí kuài wú huā guǒ bǐng ， liǎng gè pú táo bǐng 。 tā chī le ， jiù jīng shén fù yuán ； yīn wèi tā sān rì sān yè méi yǒu chī bǐng ， méi yǒu hē shuǐ 。

They gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. When he had eaten, his spirit came again to him; for he had eaten no bread, and drank no water for three days and three nights.

大衛問他說：「你是屬誰的？你是哪裏的人？」他回答說：「我是埃及的少年人，是亞瑪力人的奴僕；因我三日前患病，我主人就把我撇棄了。

dà wèi wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ shì shǔ shuí de ？ nǐ shì nǎ lǐ de rén ？」 tā huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ shì āi jí de shào nián rén ， shì yà mǎ lì rén de nú pú ； yīn wǒ sān rì qián huàn bìng ， wǒ zhǔ rén jiù bǎ wǒ piě qì le 。

David asked him, “To whom do you belong? Where are you from?” He said, “I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I got sick.

我們侵奪了基利提的南方和屬猶大的地，並迦勒地的南方，又用火燒了洗革拉。」

wǒ men qīn duó le jī lì tí de nán fāng hé shǔ yóu dà de dì ， bìng jiā lè dì de nán fāng ， yòu yòng huǒ shāo le xǐ gé lā 。」

We made a raid on the South of the Cherethites, and on that which belongs to Judah, and on the South of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.”

大衛問他說：「你肯領我們到敵軍那裏不肯？」他回答說：「你要向我指着上帝起誓，不殺我，也不將我交在我主人手裏，我就領你下到敵軍那裏。」

dà wèi wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ kěn lǐng wǒ men dào dí jūn nà lǐ bù kěn ？」 tā huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ yào xiàng wǒ zhǐ zhe shén qǐ shì ， bù shā wǒ ， yě bù jiāng wǒ jiāo zài wǒ zhǔ rén shǒu lǐ ， wǒ jiù lǐng nǐ xià dào dí jūn nà lǐ 。」

David said to him, “Will you bring me down to this troop?” He said, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me and not deliver me up into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this troop.”

那人領大衛下去，見他們散在地上，吃喝跳舞，因為從非利士地和猶大地所擄來的財物甚多。

nà rén lǐng dà wèi xià qù ， jiàn tā men sàn zài dì shàng ， chī hē tiào wǔ ， yīn wèi cóng fēi lì shì dì hé yóu dà dì suǒ lǔ lái de cái wù shèn duō 。

When he had brought him down, behold, they were spread around over all the ground, eating, drinking, and dancing, because of all the great plunder that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.

大衛從黎明直到次日晚上，擊殺他們，除了四百騎駱駝的少年人之外，沒有一個逃脫的。

dà wèi cóng lí míng zhí dào cì rì wǎn shàng ， jī shā tā men ， chú le sì bǎi qí luò tuó de shào nián rén zhī wài ， méi yǒu yí gè táo tuō de 。

David struck them from the twilight even to the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped from there, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.

亞瑪力人所擄去的財物，大衛全都奪回，並救回他的兩個妻來。

yà mǎ lì rén suǒ lǔ qù de cái wù ， dà wèi quán dōu duó huí ， bìng jiù huí tā de liǎng gè qī lái 。

David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and David rescued his two wives.

凡亞瑪力人所擄去的，無論大小、兒女、財物，大衛都奪回來，沒有失落一個。

fán yà mǎ lì rén suǒ lǔ qù de ， wú lùn dà xiǎo 、 ér nǚ 、 cái wù ， dà wèi dōu duó huí lái ， méi yǒu shī luò yí gè 。

There was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither plunder, nor anything that they had taken. David brought them all back.

大衛所奪來的牛群羊群，跟隨他的人趕在原有的群畜前邊，說：「這是大衛的掠物。」

dà wèi suǒ duó lái de niú qún yáng qún ， gēn suí tā de rén gǎn zài yuán yǒu de qún chù qián biān ， shuō ：「 zhè shì dà wèi de lüè wù 。」

David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drove before those other livestock, and said, “This is David’s plunder.”

大衛到了那疲乏不能跟隨、留在比梭溪的二百人那裏。他們出來迎接大衛並跟隨的人。大衛前來問他們安。

dà wèi dào le nà pí fá bù néng gēn suí 、 liú zài bǐ suō xī de èr bǎi rén nà lǐ 。 tā men chū lái yíng jiē dà wèi bìng gēn suí de rén 。 dà wèi qián lái wèn tā men ān 。

David came to the two hundred men, who were so faint that they could not follow David, whom also they had made to stay at the brook Besor; and they went out to meet David, and to meet the people who were with him. When David came near to the people, he greeted them.

跟隨大衛人中的惡人和匪類說：「這些人既然沒有和我們同去，我們所奪的財物就不分給他們，只將他們各人的妻子兒女給他們，使他們帶去就是了。」

gēn suí dà wèi rén zhōng de è rén hé fěi lèi shuō ：「 zhè xiē rén jì rán méi yǒu hé wǒ men tóng qù ， wǒ men suǒ duó de cái wù jiù bù fēn gěi tā men ， zhī jiāng tā men gè rén de qī zǐ ér nǚ gěi tā men ， shǐ tā men dài qù jiù shì le 。」

Then all the wicked men and worthless fellows of those who went with David answered and said, “Because they didn’t go with us, we will not give them anything of the plunder that we have recovered, except to every man his wife and his children, that he may lead them away and depart.”

大衛說：「弟兄們，耶和華所賜給我們的，不可不分給他們；因為他保佑我們，將那攻擊我們的敵軍交在我們手裏。

dà wèi shuō ：「 dì xiong men ， yē hé huá suǒ cì gěi wǒ men de ， bù kě bù fēn gěi tā men ； yīn wèi tā bǎo yòu wǒ men ， jiāng nà gōng jī wǒ men de dí jūn jiāo zài wǒ men shǒu lǐ 。

Then David said, “Do not do so, my brothers, with that which the LORD has given to us, who has preserved us, and delivered the troop that came against us into our hand.

這事誰肯依從你們呢？上陣的得多少，看守器具的也得多少；應當大家平分。」

zhè shì shuí kěn yī cóng nǐ men ne ？ shàng zhèn de dé duō shǎo ， kān shǒu qì jù de yě dé duō shǎo ； yīng dāng dà jiā píng fēn 。」

Who will listen to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down to the battle, so shall his share be who stays with the baggage. They shall share alike.”

大衛定此為以色列的律例典章，從那日直到今日。

dà wèi dìng cǐ wèi yǐ sè liè de lǜ lì diǎn zhāng ， cóng nà rì zhí dào jīn rì 。

It was so from that day forward that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.

大衛到了洗革拉，從掠物中取些送給他朋友猶大的長老，說：「這是從耶和華仇敵那裏奪來的，送你們為禮物。」

dà wèi dào le xǐ gé lā ， cóng lüè wù zhōng qǔ xiē sòng gěi tā péng yǒu yóu dà de zhǎng lǎo ， shuō ：「 zhè shì cóng yē hé huá chóu dí nà lǐ duó lái de ， sòng nǐ men wèi lǐ wù 。」

When David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, “Behold, a present for you from the plunder of the LORD’s enemies.”

他送禮物給住伯特利的，南地拉末的，雅提珥的；

tā sòng lǐ wù gěi zhù bó tè lì de ， nán dì lā mò de ， yǎ tí ěr de ；

He sent it to those who were in Bethel, to those who were in Ramoth of the South, to those who were in Jattir,

住亞羅珥的，息末的，以實提莫的；

zhù yà luó ěr de ， xī mò de ， yǐ shí tí mò de ；

to those who were in Aroer, to those who were in Siphmoth, to those who were in Eshtemoa,

住拉哈勒的，耶拉篾各城的，基尼各城的；

zhù lā hā lè de ， yē lā miè gè chéng de ， jī ní gè chéng de ；

to those who were in Racal, to those who were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, to those who were in the cities of the Kenites,

住何珥瑪的，歌拉珊的，亞撻的；

zhù hé ěr mǎ de ， gē lā shān de ， yà tà de ；

to those who were in Hormah, to those who were in Borashan, to those who were in Athach,

住希伯崙的，並大衛和跟隨他的人素來所到之處的人。

zhù xī bó de ， bìng dà wèi hé gēn suí tā de rén sù lái suǒ dào zhī chù de rén 。

to those who were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men used to stay.
