耶羅波安王十八年，亞比雅登基作猶大王，

yē luó bō ān wáng shí bā nián ， yà bǐ yǎ dēng jī zuò yóu dà wáng ，

In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah began to reign over Judah.

在耶路撒冷作王三年。他母親名叫米該亞 ，是基比亞人烏列的女兒。 亞比雅常與耶羅波安爭戰。

zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng sān nián 。 tā mǔ qīn míng jiào mǐ gāi yà ， shì jī bǐ yà rén wū liè de nǚ ér 。 yà bǐ yǎ cháng yǔ yē luó bō ān zhēng zhàn 。

He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Micaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. There was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.

有一次亞比雅率領挑選的兵四十萬擺陣，都是勇敢的戰士；耶羅波安也挑選大能的勇士八十萬，對亞比雅擺陣。

yǒu yí cì yà bǐ yǎ shuài lǐng tiāo xuǎn de bīng sì shí wàn bǎi zhèn ， dōu shì yǒng gǎn de zhàn shì ； yē luó bō ān yě tiāo xuǎn dà néng de yǒng shì bā shí wàn ， duì yà bǐ yǎ bǎi zhèn 。

Abijah joined battle with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men; and Jeroboam set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, who were mighty men of valor.

亞比雅站在以法蓮山地中的洗瑪臉山上，說：「耶羅波安和以色列眾人哪，要聽我說！

yà bǐ yǎ zhàn zài yǐ fǎ lián shān dì zhōng de xǐ mǎ liǎn shān shàng ， shuō ：「 yē luó bō ān hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén nǎ ， yào tīng wǒ shuō ！

Abijah stood up on Mount Zemaraim, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, and said, “Hear me, Jeroboam and all Israel:

耶和華－以色列的上帝曾立鹽約 ，將以色列國永遠賜給大衛和他的子孫，你們不知道嗎？

yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén céng lì yán yuē ， jiāng yǐ sè liè guó yǒng yuǎn cì gěi dà wèi hé tā de zǐ sūn ， nǐ men bù zhī dào ma ？

Ought you not to know that the LORD, the God of Israel, gave the kingdom over Israel to David forever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

無奈大衛兒子所羅門的臣僕、尼八兒子耶羅波安起來背叛他的主人。

wú nài dà wèi ér zǐ suǒ luó mén de chén pú 、 ní bā ér zi yē luó bō ān qǐ lái bèi pàn tā de zhǔ rén 。

Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, rose up, and rebelled against his lord.

有些無賴的匪徒聚集跟從他，逞強攻擊所羅門的兒子羅波安；那時羅波安還幼弱，不能抵擋他們。

yǒu xiē wú lài de fěi tú jù jí gēn cóng tā ， chěng qiáng gōng jī suǒ luó mén de ér zi luó bō ān ； nà shí luó bō ān hái yòu ruò ， bù néng dǐ dǎng tā men 。

Worthless men were gathered to him, wicked fellows who strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tender hearted, and could not withstand them.

「現在你們有意抗拒大衛子孫手下所治耶和華的國，你們的人也甚多，你們那裏又有耶羅波安為你們所造當作神的金牛犢。

「 xiàn zài nǐ men yǒu yì kàng jù dà wèi zǐ sūn shǒu xià suǒ zhì yē hé huá de guó ， nǐ men de rén yě shèn duō ， nǐ men nà lǐ yòu yǒu yē luó bō ān wèi nǐ men suǒ zào dàng zuò shén de jīn niú dú 。

“Now you intend to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David. You are a great multitude, and the golden calves which Jeroboam made you for gods are with you.

你們不是驅逐耶和華的祭司亞倫的後裔和利未人嗎？不是照着外邦人的惡俗為自己立祭司嗎？無論何人牽一隻公牛犢、七隻公綿羊將自己分別出來，就可作虛無之神的祭司。

nǐ men bú shì qū zhú yē hé huá de jì sī yà lún de hòu yì hé lì wèi rén ma ？ bú shì zhào zhe wài bāng rén de è sú wèi zì jǐ lì jì sī ma ？ wú lùn hé rén qiān yì zhī gōng niú dú 、 qī zhī gōng mián yáng jiāng zì jǐ fēn bié chū lái ， jiù kě zuò xū wú zhī shén de jì sī 。

Haven’t you driven out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made priests for yourselves according to the ways of the peoples of other lands? Whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams may be a priest of those who are no gods.

至於我們，耶和華是我們的上帝，我們並沒有離棄他。我們有事奉耶和華的祭司，都是亞倫的後裔，並有利未人各盡其職，

zhì yú wǒ men ， yē hé huá shì wǒ men de shén ， wǒ men bìng méi yǒu lí qì tā 。 wǒ men yǒu shì fèng yē hé huá de jì sī ， dōu shì yà lún de hòu yì ， bìng yǒu lì wèi rén gè jìn qí zhí ，

“But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him. We have priests serving the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites in their work.

每日早晚向耶和華獻燔祭，燒美香，又在精金的桌子上擺陳設餅；又有金燈臺和燈盞，每晚點起，因為我們遵守耶和華－我們上帝的命；惟有你們離棄了他。

měi rì zǎo wǎn xiàng yē hé huá xiàn fán jì ， shāo měi xiāng ， yòu zài jīng jīn de zhuō zǐ shàng bǎi chén shè bǐng ； yòu yǒu jīn dēng tái hé dēng zhǎn ， měi wǎn diǎn qǐ ， yīn wèi wǒ men zūn shǒu yē hé huá — wǒ men shén de mìng ； wéi yǒu nǐ men lí qì le tā 。

They burn to the LORD every morning and every evening burnt offerings and sweet incense. They also set the show bread in order on the pure table, and care for the gold lamp stand with its lamps, to burn every evening; for we keep the instruction of the LORD our God, but you have forsaken him.

率領我們的是上帝，我們這裏也有上帝的祭司拿號向你們吹出大聲。以色列人哪，不要與耶和華－你們列祖的上帝爭戰，因你們必不能亨通。」

shuài lǐng wǒ men de shì shén ， wǒ men zhè lǐ yě yǒu shén de jì sī ná hào xiàng nǐ men chuī chū dà shēng 。 yǐ sè liè rén nǎ ， bú yào yǔ yē hé huá — nǐ men liè zǔ de shén zhēng zhàn ， yīn nǐ men bì bù néng hēng tōng 。」

Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. Children of Israel, don’t fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers; for you will not prosper.”

耶羅波安卻在猶大人的後頭設伏兵。這樣，以色列人在猶大人的前頭，伏兵在猶大人的後頭。

yē luó bō ān què zài yóu dà rén de hòu tou shè fú bīng 。 zhè yàng ， yǐ sè liè rén zài yóu dà rén de qián tou ， fú bīng zài yóu dà rén de hòu tou 。

But Jeroboam caused an ambush to come about behind them; so they were before Judah, and the ambush was behind them.

猶大人回頭觀看，見前後都有敵兵，就呼求耶和華，祭司也吹號。

yóu dà rén huí tóu guān kàn ， jiàn qián hòu dōu yǒu dí bīng ， jiù hū qiú yē hé huá ， jì sī yě chuī hào 。

When Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind them; and they cried to the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

於是猶大人吶喊；猶大人吶喊的時候，上帝就使耶羅波安和以色列眾人敗在亞比雅與猶大人面前。

yú shì yóu dà rén nà hǎn ； yóu dà rén nà hǎn de shí hòu ， shén jiù shǐ yē luó bō ān hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén bài zài yà bǐ yǎ yǔ yóu dà rén miàn qián 。

Then the men of Judah gave a shout. As the men of Judah shouted, God struck Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

以色列人在猶大人面前逃跑，上帝將他們交在猶大人手裏。

yǐ sè liè rén zài yóu dà rén miàn qián táo pǎo ， shén jiāng tā men jiāo zài yóu dà rén shǒu lǐ 。

The children of Israel fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hand.

亞比雅和他的軍兵大大殺戮以色列人，以色列人仆倒死亡的精兵有五十萬。

yà bǐ yǎ hé tā de jūn bīng dà dà shā lù yǐ sè liè rén ， yǐ sè liè rén pú dǎo sǐ wáng de jīng bīng yǒu wǔ shí wàn 。

Abijah and his people killed them with a great slaughter, so five hundred thousand chosen men of Israel fell down slain.

那時，以色列人被制伏了，猶大人得勝，是因倚靠耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。

nà shí ， yǐ sè liè rén bèi zhì fú le ， yóu dà rén dé shèng ， shì yīn yǐ kào yē hé huá — tā men liè zǔ de shén 。

Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD, the God of their fathers.

亞比雅追趕耶羅波安，攻取了他的幾座城，就是伯特利和屬伯特利的鎮市，耶沙拿和屬耶沙拿的鎮市，以法拉音 和屬以法拉音的鎮市。

yà bǐ yǎ zhuī gǎn yē luó bō ān ， gōng qǔ le tā de jǐ zuò chéng ， jiù shì bó tè lì hé shǔ bó tè lì de zhèn shì ， yē shā ná hé shǔ yē shā ná de zhèn shì ， yǐ fǎ lā yīn hé shǔ yǐ fǎ lā yīn de zhèn shì 。

Abijah pursued Jeroboam, and took cities from him: Bethel with its villages, Jeshanah with its villages, and Ephron with its villages.

亞比雅在世的時候，耶羅波安不能再強盛；耶和華攻擊他，他就死了。

yà bǐ yǎ zài shì de shí hòu ， yē luó bō ān bù néng zài qiáng shèng ； yē hé huá gōng jī tā ， tā jiù sǐ le 。

Jeroboam didn’t recover strength again in the days of Abijah. The LORD struck him, and he died.

亞比雅卻漸漸強盛，娶妻妾十四個，生了二十二個兒子，十六個女兒。

yà bǐ yǎ què jiàn jiàn qiáng shèng ， qǔ qī qiè shí sì gè ， shēng le èr shí èr gè ér zi ， shí liù gè nǚ ér 。

But Abijah grew mighty and took for himself fourteen wives, and became the father of twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.

亞比雅其餘的事和他的言行都寫在先知易多的傳上。

yà bǐ yǎ qí yú de shì hé tā de yán xíng dōu xiě zài xiān zhī yì duō de chuán shàng 。
