上帝的靈感動俄德的兒子亞撒利雅。

shén de líng gǎn dòng é dé de ér zi yà sā lì yǎ 。

The Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded.

他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒和猶大、便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。

tā chū lái yíng jiē yà sā ， duì tā shuō ：「 yà sā hé yóu dà 、 biàn yǎ mǐn zhòng rén nǎ ， yào tīng wǒ shuō ： nǐ men ruò shùn cóng yē hé huá ， yē hé huá bì yǔ nǐ men tóng zài ； nǐ men ruò xún qiú tā ， jiù bì xún jiàn ； nǐ men ruò lí qì tā ， tā bì lí qì nǐ men 。

He went out to meet Asa, and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin! The LORD is with you while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

以色列人不信真神，沒有訓誨的祭司，也沒有律法，已經好久了；

yǐ sè liè rén bú xìn zhēn shén ， méi yǒu xùn huì de jì sī ， yě méi yǒu lǜ fǎ ， yǐ jīng hǎo jiǔ le ；

Now for a long time Israel was without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law.

但他們在急難的時候歸向耶和華－以色列的上帝，尋求他，他就被他們尋見。

dàn tā men zài jí nán de shí hòu guī xiàng yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén ， xún qiú tā ， tā jiù bèi tā men xún jiàn 。

But when in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them.

那時，出入的人不得平安，列國的居民都遭大亂；

nà shí ， chū rù de rén bù dé píng ān ， liè guó de jū mín dōu zāo dà luàn ；

In those times there was no peace to him who went out, nor to him who came in; but great troubles were on all the inhabitants of the lands.

這國攻擊那國，這城攻擊那城，互相破壞，因為上帝用各樣災難擾亂他們。

zhè guó gōng jī nà guó ， zhè chéng gōng jī nà chéng ， hù xiāng pò huài ， yīn wèi shén yòng gè yàng zāi nàn rǎo luàn tā men 。

They were broken in pieces, nation against nation, and city against city; for God troubled them with all adversity.

現在你們要剛強，不要手軟，因你們所行的必得賞賜。」

xiàn zài nǐ men yào gāng qiáng ， bú yào shǒu ruǎn ， yīn nǐ men suǒ xíng de bì dé shǎng cì 。」

But you be strong! Don’t let your hands be slack, for your work will be rewarded.”

亞撒聽見這話和俄德兒子先知亞撒利雅的預言，就壯起膽來，在猶大、便雅憫全地，並以法蓮山地所奪的各城，將可憎之物盡都除掉，又在耶和華殿的廊前重新修築耶和華的壇；

yà sā tīng jiàn zhè huà hé é dé ér zi xiān zhī yà sā lì yǎ de yù yán ， jiù zhuàng qǐ dǎn lái ， zài yóu dà 、 biàn yǎ mǐn quán dì ， bìng yǐ fǎ lián shān dì suǒ duó de gè chéng ， jiāng kě zēng zhī wù jìn dōu chú diào ， yòu zài yē hé huá diàn de láng qián chóng xīn xiū zhù yē hé huá de tán ；

When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Ephraim; and he renewed the LORD’s altar that was before the LORD’s porch.

又招聚猶大、便雅憫的眾人，並他們中間寄居的以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人。有許多以色列人歸降亞撒，因見耶和華－他的上帝與他同在。

yòu zhāo jù yóu dà 、 biàn yǎ mǐn de zhòng rén ， bìng tā men zhōng jiān jì jū de yǐ fǎ lián rén 、 mǎ ná xī rén 、 xī miǎn rén 。 yǒu xǔ duō yǐ sè liè rén guī xiáng yà sā ， yīn jiàn yē hé huá — tā de shén yǔ tā tóng zài 。

He gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who lived with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon; for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

亞撒十五年三月，他們都聚集在耶路撒冷。

yà sā shí wǔ nián sān yuè ， tā men dōu jù jí zài yē lù sā lěng 。

So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign.

當日他們從所取的擄物中，將牛七百隻、羊七千隻獻給耶和華。

dāng rì tā men cóng suǒ qǔ de lǔ wù zhōng ， jiāng niú qī bǎi zhī 、 yáng qī qiān zhī xiàn gěi yē hé huá 。

They sacrificed to the LORD in that day, of the plunder which they had brought, seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep.

他們就立約，要盡心盡性地尋求耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。

tā men jiù lì yuē ， yào jìn xīn jìn xìng dì xún qiú yē hé huá — tā men liè zǔ de shén 。

They entered into the covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul;

凡不尋求耶和華－以色列上帝的，無論大小、男女，必被治死。

fán bù xún qiú yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè shén de ， wú lùn dà xiǎo 、 nán nǚ ， bì bèi zhì sǐ 。

and that whoever would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

他們就大聲歡呼，吹號吹角，向耶和華起誓。

tā men jiù dà shēng huān hū ， chuī hào chuī jiǎo ， xiàng yē hé huá qǐ shì 。

They swore to the LORD with a loud voice, with shouting, with trumpets, and with cornets.

猶大眾人為所起的誓歡喜；因他們是盡心起誓，盡意尋求耶和華，耶和華就被他們尋見，且賜他們四境平安。

yóu dà zhòng rén wéi suǒ qǐ de shì huān xǐ ； yīn tā men shì jìn xīn qǐ shì ， jìn yì xún qiú yē hé huá ， yē hé huá jiù bèi tā men xún jiàn ， qiě cì tā men sì jìng píng ān 。

All Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found by them. Then the LORD gave them rest all around.

亞撒王貶了他祖母瑪迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亞舍拉。亞撒砍下她的偶像，搗得粉碎，燒在汲淪溪邊。

yà sā wáng biǎn le tā zǔ mǔ mǎ jiā tài hòu de wèi ， yīn tā zào le kě zēng de ǒu xiàng yà shè lā 。 yà sā kǎn xià tā de ǒu xiàng ， dǎo dé fěn suì ， shāo zài jí lún xī biān 。

Also Maacah, the mother of Asa the king, he removed from being queen mother, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; so Asa cut down her image, ground it into dust, and burned it at the brook Kidron.

只是邱壇還沒有從以色列中廢去，然而亞撒的心一生誠實。

zhī shì qiū tán hái méi yǒu cóng yǐ sè liè zhōng fèi qù ， rán ér yà sā de xīn yì shēng chéng shí 。

But the high places were not taken away out of Israel; nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

亞撒將他父所分別為聖、與自己所分別為聖的金銀和器皿都奉到上帝的殿裏。

yà sā jiāng tā fù suǒ fēn bié wèi shèng 、 yǔ zì jǐ suǒ fēn bié wèi shèng de jīn yín hé qì mǐn dōu fèng dào shén de diàn lǐ 。

He brought the things that his father had dedicated and that he himself had dedicated, silver, gold, and vessels into God’s house.

從這時直到亞撒三十五年，都沒有爭戰的事。

cóng zhè shí zhí dào yà sā sān shí wǔ nián ， dōu méi yǒu zhēng zhàn de shì 。

There was no more war to the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.
