所羅門定意要為耶和華的名建造殿宇，又為自己的國建造宮室。

suǒ luó mén dìng yì yào wèi yē hé huá de míng jiàn zào diàn yǔ ， yòu wèi zì jǐ de guó jiàn zào gōng shì 。

Now Solomon decided to build a house for the LORD’s name, and a house for his kingdom.

所羅門就挑選七萬扛抬的，八萬在山上鑿石頭的，三千六百督工的。

suǒ luó mén jiù tiāo xuǎn qī wàn káng tái de ， bā wàn zài shān shàng záo shí tou de ， sān qiān liù bǎi dū gōng de 。

Solomon counted out seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.

所羅門差人去見泰爾王希蘭，說：「你曾運香柏木與我父大衛建宮居住，求你也這樣待我。

suǒ luó mén chà rén qù jiàn tài ěr wáng xī lán ， shuō ：「 nǐ céng yùn xiāng bǎi mù yǔ wǒ fù dà wèi jiàn gōng jū zhù ， qiú nǐ yě zhè yàng dài wǒ 。

Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, “As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, so deal with me.

我要為耶和華－我上帝的名建造殿宇，分別為聖獻給他，在他面前焚燒美香，常擺陳設餅，每早晚、安息日、月朔，並耶和華－我們上帝所定的節期獻燔祭。這是以色列人永遠的定例。

wǒ yào wèi yē hé huá — wǒ shén de míng jiàn zào diàn yǔ ， fēn bié wèi shèng xiàn gěi tā ， zài tā miàn qián fén shāo měi xiāng ， cháng bǎi chén shè bǐng ， měi zǎo wǎn 、 ān xī rì 、 yuè shuò ， bìng yē hé huá — wǒ men shén suǒ dìng de jié qī xiàn fán jì 。 zhè shì yǐ sè liè rén yǒng yuǎn de dìng lì 。

Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, to burn before him incense of sweet spices, for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.

我所要建造的殿宇甚大；因為我們的上帝至大，超乎諸神。

wǒ suǒ yào jiàn zào de diàn yǔ shèn dà ； yīn wèi wǒ men de shén zhì dà ， chāo hū zhū shén 。

“The house which I am building will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.

天和天上的天，尚且不足他居住的，誰能為他建造殿宇呢？我是誰？能為他建造殿宇嗎？不過在他面前燒香而已。

tiān hé tiān shàng de tiān ， shàng qiě bù zú tā jū zhù de ， shuí néng wèi tā jiàn zào diàn yǔ ne ？ wǒ shì shuí ？ néng wèi tā jiàn zào diàn yǔ ma ？ bú guò zài tā miàn qián shāo xiāng ér yǐ 。

But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense before him?

現在求你差一個巧匠來，就是善用金、銀、銅、鐵，和紫色、朱紅色、藍色線，並精於雕刻之工的巧匠，與我父大衛在猶大和耶路撒冷所預備的巧匠一同做工；

xiàn zài qiú nǐ chà yí gè qiǎo jiàng lái ， jiù shì shàn yòng jīn 、 yín 、 tóng 、 tiě ， hé zǐ sè 、 zhū hóng sè 、 lán sè xiàn ， bìng jīng yú diāo kè zhī gōng de qiǎo jiàng ， yǔ wǒ fù dà wèi zài yóu dà hé yē lù sā lěng suǒ yù bèi de qiǎo jiàng yì tóng zuò gōng ；

“Now therefore send me a man skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

又求你從黎巴嫩運些香柏木、松木、檀香木到我這裏來，因我知道你的僕人善於砍伐黎巴嫩的樹木。我的僕人也必與你的僕人同工。

yòu qiú nǐ cóng lí bā nèn yùn xiē xiāng bǎi mù 、 sōng mù 、 tán xiāng mù dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái ， yīn wǒ zhī dào nǐ de pú rén shàn yú kǎn fá lí bā nèn de shù mù 。 wǒ de pú rén yě bì yǔ nǐ de pú rén tóng gōng 。

“Send me also cedar trees, cypress trees, and algum trees out of Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber in Lebanon. Behold, my servants will be with your servants,

這樣，可以給我預備許多的木料，因我要建造的殿宇高大出奇。

zhè yàng ， kě yǐ gěi wǒ yù bèi xǔ duō de mù liào ， yīn wǒ yào jiàn zào de diàn yǔ gāo dà chū qí 。

even to prepare me timber in abundance; for the house which I am about to build will be great and wonderful.

你的僕人砍伐樹木，我必給他們打好了的小麥二萬歌珥，大麥二萬歌珥，酒二萬罷特，油二萬罷特。」

nǐ de pú rén kǎn fá shù mù ， wǒ bì gěi tā men dǎ hǎo le de xiǎo mài èr wàn gē ěr ， dà mài èr wàn gē ěr ， jiǔ èr wàn bà tè ， yóu èr wàn bà tè 。」

Behold, I will give to your servants, the cutters who cut timber, twenty thousand cors of beaten wheat, twenty thousand baths of barley, twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”

泰爾王希蘭寫信回答所羅門說：「耶和華因為愛他的子民，所以立你作他們的王」；

tài ěr wáng xī lán xiě xìn huí dá suǒ luó mén shuō ：「 yē hé huá yīn wèi ài tā de zǐ mín ， suǒ yǐ lì nǐ zuò tā men de wáng 」；

Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, “Because the LORD loves his people, he has made you king over them.”

又說：「創造天地的耶和華－以色列的上帝是應當稱頌的！他賜給大衛王一個有智慧的兒子，使他有謀略聰明，可以為耶和華建造殿宇，又為自己的國建造宮室。

yòu shuō ：「 chuàng zào tiān dì de yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén shì yīng dāng chēng sòng de ！ tā cì gěi dà wèi wáng yí gè yǒu zhì huì de ér zi ， shǐ tā yǒu móu lüè cōng ming ， kě yǐ wéi yē hé huá jiàn zào diàn yǔ ， yòu wèi zì jǐ de guó jiàn zào gōng shì 。

Huram continued, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, who would build a house for the LORD and a house for his kingdom.

「現在我打發一個精巧有聰明的人去，他是我父親希蘭所用的，

「 xiàn zài wǒ dǎ fā yí gè jīng qiǎo yǒu cōng ming de rén qù ， tā shì wǒ fù qīn xī lán suǒ yòng de ，

Now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram-abi,

是但支派一個婦人的兒子。他父親是泰爾人，他善用金、銀、銅、鐵、石、木，和紫色、藍色、朱紅色線與細麻製造各物，並精於雕刻，又能想出各樣的巧工。請你派定這人，與你的巧匠和你父－我主大衛的巧匠一同做工。

shì dàn zhī pài yí gè fù rén de ér zi 。 tā fù qīn shì tài ěr rén ， tā shàn yòng jīn 、 yín 、 tóng 、 tiě 、 shí 、 mù ， hé zǐ sè 、 lán sè 、 zhū hóng sè xiàn yǔ xì má zhì zào gè wù ， bìng jīng yú diāo kè ， yòu néng xiǎng chū gè yàng de qiǎo gōng 。 qǐng nǐ pài dìng zhè rén ， yǔ nǐ de qiǎo jiàng hé nǐ fù — wǒ zhǔ dà wèi de qiǎo jiàng yì tóng zuò gōng 。

the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan; and his father was a man of Tyre. He is skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, in timber, in purple, in blue, in fine linen, and in crimson, also to engrave any kind of engraving and to devise any device, that there may be a place appointed to him with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.

我主所說的小麥、大麥、酒、油，願我主運來給眾僕人。

wǒ zhǔ suǒ shuō de xiǎo mài 、 dà mài 、 jiǔ 、 yóu ， yuàn wǒ zhǔ yùn lái gěi zhòng pú rén 。

“Now therefore, the wheat, the barley, the oil, and the wine which my lord has spoken of, let him send to his servants;

我們必照你所需用的，從黎巴嫩砍伐樹木，紮成筏子，浮海運到約帕；你可以從那裏運到耶路撒冷。」

wǒ men bì zhào nǐ suǒ xū yòng de ， cóng lí bā nèn kǎn fá shù mù ， zhā chéng fá zǐ ， fú hǎi yùn dào yuē pà ； nǐ kě yǐ cóng nà lǐ yùn dào yē lù sā lěng 。」

and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you need. We will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; then you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.”

所羅門仿照他父大衛數點住在以色列地所有寄居的外邦人，共有十五萬三千六百名；

suǒ luó mén fǎng zhào tā fù dà wèi shù diǎn zhù zài yǐ sè liè dì suǒ yǒu jì jū de wài bāng rén ， gòng yǒu shí wǔ wàn sān qiān liù bǎi míng ；

Solomon counted all the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, after the census with which David his father had counted them; and they found one hundred fifty-three thousand six hundred.

使七萬人扛抬材料，八萬人在山上鑿石頭，三千六百人督理工作。

shǐ qī wàn rén káng tái cái liào ， bā wàn rén zài shān shàng záo shí tou ， sān qiān liù bǎi rén dū lǐ gōng zuò 。

He set seventy thousand of them to bear burdens, eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred overseers to assign the people their work.
