耶路撒冷的居民立約蘭的小兒子亞哈謝接續他作王；因為跟隨阿拉伯人來攻營的軍兵曾殺了亞哈謝的眾兄長。這樣，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝作了王。

yē lù sā lěng de jū mín lì yuē lán de xiǎo ér zi yà hā xiè jiē xù tā zuò wáng ； yīn wèi gēn suí ā lā bó rén lái gōng yíng de jūn bīng céng shā le yà hā xiè de zhòng xiōng zhǎng 。 zhè yàng ， yóu dà wáng yuē lán de ér zi yà hā xiè zuò le wáng 。

The inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his place, because the band of men who came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the oldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

亞哈謝登基的時候年四十二歲 ，在耶路撒冷作王一年。他母親名叫亞她利雅，是暗利的孫女。

yà hā xiè dēng jī de shí hòu nián sì shí èr suì ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng yì nián 。 tā mǔ qīn míng jiào yà tā lì yǎ ， shì àn lì de sūn nǚ 。

Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.

亞哈謝也行亞哈家的道；因為他母親給他主謀，使他行惡。

yà hā xiè yě xíng yà hā jiā de dào ； yīn wèi tā mǔ qīn gěi tā zhǔ móu ， shǐ tā xíng è 。

He also walked in the ways of Ahab’s house, because his mother was his counselor in acting wickedly.

他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，像亞哈家一樣；因他父親死後有亞哈家的人給他主謀，以致敗壞。

tā xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi è de shì ， xiàng yà hā jiā yí yàng ； yīn tā fù qīn sǐ hòu yǒu yà hā jiā de rén gěi tā zhǔ móu ， yǐ zhì bài huài 。

He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, as did Ahab’s house, for they were his counselors after the death of his father, to his destruction.

他聽從亞哈家的計謀，同以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭往基列的拉末去，與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰；亞蘭人打傷了約蘭。

tā tīng cóng yà hā jiā de jì móu ， tóng yǐ sè liè wáng yà hā de ér zi yuē lán wǎng jī liè de lā mò qù ， yǔ yà lán wáng hā xuē zhēng zhàn ； yà lán rén dǎ shāng le yuē lán 。

He also followed their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth Gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.

約蘭回到耶斯列，醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗所受的傷，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞撒利雅 因為亞哈的兒子約蘭病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。

yuē lán huí dào yē sī liè ， yī zhì zài lā mò yǔ yà lán wáng hā xuē dǎ zhàng suǒ shòu de shāng ， yóu dà wáng yuē lán de ér zi yà sā lì yǎ yīn wèi yà hā de ér zi yuē lán bìng le ， jiù xià dào yē sī liè kàn wàng tā 。

He returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which they had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. Azariah the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

亞哈謝去見約蘭就被害了，這是出乎上帝；因為他到了，就同約蘭出去攻擊寧示的孫子耶戶。這耶戶是耶和華所膏、使他剪除亞哈家的。

yà hā xiè qù jiàn yuē lán jiù bèi hài le ， zhè shì chū hū shén ； yīn wèi tā dào le ， jiù tóng yuē lán chū qù gōng jī níng shì de sūn zi yē hù 。 zhè yē hù shì yē hé huá suǒ gāo 、 shǐ tā jiǎn chú yà hā jiā de 。

Now the destruction of Ahaziah was of God, in that he went to Joram; for when he had come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off Ahab’s house.

耶戶討亞哈家罪的時候，遇見猶大的眾首領和亞哈謝的眾姪子服事亞哈謝，就把他們都殺了。

yē hù tǎo yà hā jiā zuì de shí hòu ， yù jiàn yóu dà de zhòng shǒu lǐng hé yà hā xiè de zhòng zhí zi fú shì yà hā xiè ， jiù bǎ tā men dōu shā le 。

When Jehu was executing judgment on Ahab’s house, he found the princes of Judah and the sons of the brothers of Ahaziah serving Ahaziah, and killed them.

亞哈謝藏在撒馬利亞，耶戶尋找他，眾人將他拿住，送到耶戶那裏，就殺了他，將他葬埋；因他們說，他是那盡心尋求耶和華之約沙法的兒子。這樣，亞哈謝的家無力保守國權。

yà hā xiè cáng zài sā mǎ lì yà ， yē hù xún zhǎo tā ， zhòng rén jiāng tā ná zhù ， sòng dào yē hù nà lǐ ， jiù shā le tā ， jiāng tā zàng mái ； yīn tā men shuō ， tā shì nà jìn xīn xún qiú yē hé huá zhī yuē shā fǎ de ér zi 。 zhè yàng ， yà hā xiè de jiā wú lì bǎo shǒu guó quán 。

He sought Ahaziah, and they caught him (now he was hiding in Samaria), and they brought him to Jehu and killed him; and they buried him, for they said, “He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” The house of Ahaziah had no power to hold the kingdom.

亞哈謝的母親亞她利雅見她兒子死了，就起來剿滅猶大王室。

yà hā xiè de mǔ qīn yà tā lì yǎ jiàn tā ér zi sǐ le ， jiù qǐ lái jiǎo miè yóu dà wáng shì 。

Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal offspring of the house of Judah.

但王的女兒約示巴將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從那被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裏。約示巴是約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹子，祭司耶何耶大的妻。她收藏約阿施，躲避亞她利雅，免得被殺。

dàn wáng de nǚ ér yuē shì bā jiāng yà hā xiè de ér zi yuē ā shī cóng nà bèi shā de wáng zǐ zhōng tōu chū lái ， bǎ tā hé tā de rǔ mǔ dōu cáng zài wò fáng lǐ 。 yuē shì bā shì yuē lán wáng de nǚ ér ， yà hā xiè de mèi zǐ ， jì sī yē hé yē dà de qī 。 tā shōu cáng yuē ā shī ， duǒ bì yà tā lì yǎ ， miǎn de bèi shā 。

But Jehoshabeath, the king’s daughter, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stealthily rescued him from among the king’s sons who were slain, and put him and his nurse in the bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah, so that she didn’t kill him.

約阿施和她們一同藏在上帝殿裏六年；亞她利雅篡了國位。

yuē ā shī hé tā men yì tóng cáng zài shén diàn lǐ liù nián ； yà tā lì yǎ cuàn le guó wèi 。

He was with them hidden in God’s house six years while Athaliah reigned over the land.
