第七年，耶何耶大奮勇自強，將百夫長耶羅罕的兒子亞撒利雅，約哈難的兒子以實瑪利，俄備得的兒子亞撒利雅，亞大雅的兒子瑪西雅，細基利的兒子以利沙法召來，與他們立約。

dì qī nián ， yē hé yē dà fèn yǒng zì qiáng ， jiāng bǎi fū zhǎng yē luó hǎn de ér zi yà sā lì yǎ ， yuē hā nán de ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì ， é bèi dé de ér zi yà sā lì yǎ ， yà dà yǎ de ér zi mǎ xī yǎ ， xì jī lì de ér zi yǐ lì shā fǎ zhào lái ， yǔ tā men lì yuē 。

In the seventh year, Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds—Azariah the son of Jeroham, Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, Azariah the son of Obed, Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri—into a covenant with him.

他們走遍猶大，從猶大各城裏招聚利未人和以色列的眾族長到耶路撒冷來。

tā men zǒu biàn yóu dà ， cóng yóu dà gè chéng lǐ zhāo jù lì wèi rén hé yǐ sè liè de zhòng zú zhǎng dào yē lù sā lěng lái 。

They went around in Judah and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the heads of fathers’ households of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.

會眾在上帝殿裏與王立約。耶何耶大對他們說：「看哪，王的兒子必當作王，正如耶和華指着大衛子孫所應許的話」；

huì zhòng zài shén diàn lǐ yǔ wáng lì yuē 。 yē hé yē dà duì tā men shuō ：「 kàn nǎ ， wáng de ér zi bì dàng zuò wáng ， zhèng rú yē hé huá zhǐ zhe dà wèi zǐ sūn suǒ yīng xǔ de huà 」；

All the assembly made a covenant with the king in God’s house. Jehoiada said to them, “Behold, the king’s son must reign, as the LORD has spoken concerning the sons of David.

又說：「你們當這樣行：祭司和利未人凡安息日進班的，三分之一要把守各門，

yòu shuō ：「 nǐ men dāng zhè yàng xíng ： jì sī hé lì wèi rén fán ān xī rì jìn bān de ， sān fēn zhī yī yào bǎ shǒu gè mén ，

This is the thing that you must do: a third part of you, who come in on the Sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be gatekeepers of the thresholds.

三分之一要在王宮，三分之一要在基址門；眾百姓要在耶和華殿的院內。

sān fēn zhī yī yào zài wáng gōng ， sān fēn zhī yī yào zài jī zhǐ mén ； zhòng bǎi xìng yào zài yē hé huá diàn de yuàn nèi 。

A third part shall be at the king’s house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation. All the people will be in the courts of the LORD’s house.

除了祭司和供職的利未人之外，不准別人進耶和華的殿；惟獨他們可以進去，因為他們聖潔。眾百姓要遵守耶和華所吩咐的。

chú le jì sī hé gòng zhí de lì wèi rén zhī wài ， bù zhǔn bié rén jìn yē hé huá de diàn ； wéi dú tā men kě yǐ jìn qù ， yīn wèi tā men shèng jié 。 zhòng bǎi xìng yào zūn shǒu yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù de 。

But let no one come into the LORD’s house except the priests and those who minister of the Levites. They shall come in, for they are holy, but all the people shall follow the LORD’s instructions.

利未人要手中各拿兵器，四圍護衛王；凡擅入殿宇的，必當治死。王出入的時候，你們當跟隨他。」

lì wèi rén yào shǒu zhōng gè ná bīng qì ， sì wéi hù wèi wáng ； fán shàn rù diàn yǔ de ， bì dāng zhì sǐ 。 wáng chū rù de shí hòu ， nǐ men dāng gēn suí tā 。」

The Levites shall surround the king, every man with his weapons in his hand. Whoever comes into the house, let him be slain. Be with the king when he comes in and when he goes out.”

利未人和猶大眾人都照着祭司耶何耶大一切所吩咐的去行，各帶所管安息日進班出班的人來，因為祭司耶何耶大不許他們下班。

lì wèi rén hé yóu dà zhòng rén dōu zhào zhe jì sī yē hé yē dà yí qiè suǒ fēn fù de qù xíng ， gè dài suǒ guǎn ān xī rì jìn bān chū bān de rén lái ， yīn wèi jì sī yē hé yē dà bù xǔ tā men xià bān 。

So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. They each took his men, those who were to come in on the Sabbath, with those who were to go out on the Sabbath, for Jehoiada the priest didn’t dismiss the shift.

祭司耶何耶大便將上帝殿裏所藏大衛王的槍、盾牌、擋牌交給百夫長，

jì sī yē hé yē dà biàn jiāng shén diàn lǐ suǒ cáng dà wèi wáng de qiāng 、 dùn pái 、 dǎng pái jiāo gěi bǎi fū zhǎng ，

Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds the spears, bucklers, and shields that had been king David’s, which were in God’s house.

又分派眾民手中各拿兵器，在壇和殿那裏，從殿右直到殿左，站在王子的四圍；

yòu fēn pài zhòng mín shǒu zhōng gè ná bīng qì ， zài tán hé diàn nà lǐ ， cóng diàn yòu zhí dào diàn zuǒ ， zhàn zài wáng zǐ de sì wéi ；

He set all the people, every man with his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, near the altar and the house, around the king.

於是領王子出來，給他戴上冠冕，將律法書交給他，立他作王。耶何耶大和眾子膏他，眾人說：「願王萬歲！」

yú shì lǐng wáng zǐ chū lái ， gěi tā dài shàng guān miǎn ， jiāng lǜ fǎ shū jiāo gěi tā ， lì tā zuò wáng 。 yē hé yē dà hé zhòng zǐ gāo tā ， zhòng rén shuō ：「 yuàn wáng wàn suì ！」

Then they brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him, gave him the covenant, and made him king. Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and they said, “Long live the king!”

亞她利雅聽見民奔走讚美王的聲音，就到民那裏，進耶和華的殿，

yà tā lì yǎ tīng jiàn mín bēn zǒu zàn měi wáng de shēng yīn ， jiù dào mín nà lǐ ， jìn yē hé huá de diàn ，

When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the LORD’s house.

看見王站在殿門的柱旁，百夫長和吹號的人侍立在王左右，國民都歡樂吹號，又有歌唱的，用各樣的樂器領人歌唱讚美；亞她利雅就撕裂衣服，喊叫說：「反了！反了！」

kàn jiàn wáng zhàn zài diàn mén de zhù páng ， bǎi fū zhǎng hé chuī hào de rén shì lì zài wáng zuǒ yòu ， guó mín dōu huān lè chuī hào ， yòu yǒu gē chàng de ， yòng gè yàng de yuè qì lǐng rén gē chàng zàn měi ； yà tā lì yǎ jiù sī liè yī fu ， hǎn jiào shuō ：「 fǎn le ！ fǎn le ！」

Then she looked, and behold, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, with the captains and the trumpeters by the king. All the people of the land rejoiced and blew trumpets. The singers also played musical instruments, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and said, “Treason! treason!”

祭司耶何耶大帶管轄軍兵的百夫長出來，吩咐他們說：「將她趕到班外，凡跟隨她的必用刀殺死！」因為祭司說：「不可在耶和華殿裏殺她。」

jì sī yē hé yē dà dài guǎn xiá jūn bīng de bǎi fū zhǎng chū lái ， fēn fù tā men shuō ：「 jiāng tā gǎn dào bān wài ， fán gēn suí tā de bì yòng dāo shā sǐ ！」 yīn wèi jì sī shuō ：「 bù kě zài yē hé huá diàn lǐ shā tā 。」

Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, “Bring her out between the ranks; and whoever follows her, let him be slain with the sword.” For the priest said, “Don’t kill her in the LORD’s house.”

眾兵就閃開，讓她去；她走到王宮的馬門，便在那裏把她殺了。

zhòng bīng jiù shǎn kāi ， ràng tā qù ； tā zǒu dào wáng gōng de mǎ mén ， biàn zài nà lǐ bǎ tā shā le 。

So they made way for her. She went to the entrance of the horse gate to the king’s house; and they killed her there.

耶何耶大與眾民和王立約，都要作耶和華的民。

yē hé yē dà yǔ zhòng mín hé wáng lì yuē ， dōu yào zuò yē hé huá de mín 。

Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, all the people, and the king, that they should be the LORD’s people.

於是眾民都到巴力廟，拆毀了廟，打碎壇和像，又在壇前將巴力的祭司瑪坦殺了。

yú shì zhòng mín dōu dào bā lì miào ， chāi huǐ le miào ， dǎ suì tán hé xiàng ， yòu zài tán qián jiāng bā lì de jì sī mǎ tǎn shā le 。

All the people went to the house of Baal, broke it down, broke his altars and his images in pieces, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.

耶何耶大派官看守耶和華的殿，是在祭司利未人手下。這祭司利未人是大衛分派在耶和華殿中、照摩西律法上所寫的，給耶和華獻燔祭，又按大衛所定的例，歡樂歌唱；

yē hé yē dà pài guān kān shǒu yē hé huá de diàn ， shì zài jì sī lì wèi rén shǒu xià 。 zhè jì sī lì wèi rén shì dà wèi fēn pài zài yē hé huá diàn zhōng 、 zhào mó xī lǜ fǎ shàng suǒ xiě de ， gěi yē hé huá xiàn fán jì ， yòu àn dà wèi suǒ dìng de lì ， huān yuè gē chàng ；

Jehoiada appointed the officers of the LORD’s house under the hand of the Levitical priests, whom David had distributed in the LORD’s house, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as David had ordered.

且設立守門的把守耶和華殿的各門，無論為何事，不潔淨的人都不准進去。

qiě shè lì shǒu mén de bǎ shǒu yē hé huá diàn de gè mén ， wú lùn wèi hé shì ， bù jié jìng de rén dōu bù zhǔn jìn qù 。

He set the gatekeepers at the gates of the LORD’s house, that no one who was unclean in anything should enter in.

又率領百夫長和貴冑，與民間的官長，並國中的眾民，請王從耶和華殿下來，由上門進入王宮，立王坐在國位上。

yòu shuài lǐng bǎi fū zhǎng hé guì zhòu ， yǔ mín jiān de guān zhǎng ， bìng guó zhōng de zhòng mín ， qǐng wáng cóng yē hé huá diàn xià lái ， yóu shàng mén jìn rù wáng gōng ， lì wáng zuò zài guó wèi shàng 。

He took the captains of hundreds, the nobles, the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought the king down from the LORD’s house. They came through the upper gate to the king’s house, and set the king on the throne of the kingdom.

國民都歡樂，合城都安靜。眾人已將亞她利雅用刀殺了。

guó mín dōu huān lè ， hé chéng dōu ān jìng 。 zhòng rén yǐ jiāng yà tā lì yǎ yòng dāo shā le 。

So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. They had slain Athaliah with the sword.
