所羅門祈禱已畢，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡燔祭和別的祭。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；

suǒ luó mén qí dǎo yǐ bì ， jiù yǒu huǒ cóng tiān shàng jiàng xià lái ， shāo jìn fán jì hé bié de jì 。 yē hé huá de róng guāng chōng mǎn le diàn ；

Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the LORD’s glory filled the house.

因耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華殿，所以祭司不能進殿。

yīn yē hé huá de róng guāng chōng mǎn le yē hé huá diàn ， suǒ yǐ jì sī bù néng jìn diàn 。

The priests could not enter into the LORD’s house, because the LORD’s glory filled the LORD’s house.

那火降下、耶和華的榮光在殿上的時候，以色列眾人看見，就在鋪石地俯伏叩拜，稱謝耶和華說： 耶和華本為善， 他的慈愛永遠長存！

nà huǒ jiàng xià 、 yē hé huá de róng guāng zài diàn shàng de shí hòu ， yǐ sè liè zhòng rén kàn jiàn ， jiù zài pù shí dì fǔ fú kòu bài ， chēng xiè yē hé huá shuō ： yē hé huá běn wèi shàn ， tā de cí ài yǒng yuǎn cháng cún ！

All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the LORD’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever!”

王和眾民在耶和華面前獻祭。

wáng hé zhòng mín zài yē hé huá miàn qián xiàn jì 。

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.

所羅門王用牛二萬二千，羊十二萬獻祭。這樣，王和眾民為上帝的殿行奉獻之禮。

suǒ luó mén wáng yòng niú èr wàn èr qiān ， yáng shí èr wàn xiàn jì 。 zhè yàng ， wáng hé zhòng mín wèi shén de diàn xíng fèng xiàn zhī lǐ 。

King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand head of cattle and a hundred twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated God’s house.

祭司侍立，各供其職；利未人也拿着耶和華的樂器，就是大衛王造出來、藉利未人頌讚耶和華的。（他的慈愛永遠長存！）祭司在眾人面前吹號，以色列人都站立。

jì sī shì lì ， gè gòng qí zhí ； lì wèi rén yě ná zhe yē hé huá de yuè qì ， jiù shì dà wèi wáng zào chū lái 、 jiè lì wèi rén sòng zàn yē hé huá de 。（ tā de cí ài yǒng yuǎn cháng cún ！） jì sī zài zhòng rén miàn qián chuī hào ， yǐ sè liè rén dōu zhàn lì 。

The priests stood, according to their positions; the Levites also with instruments of music of the LORD, which David the king had made to give thanks to the LORD, when David praised by their ministry, saying “For his loving kindness endures forever.” The priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.

所羅門因他所造的銅壇容不下燔祭、素祭，和脂油，便將耶和華殿前院子當中分別為聖，在那裏獻燔祭和平安祭牲的脂油。

suǒ luó mén yīn tā suǒ zào de tóng tán róng bú xià fán jì 、 sù jì ， hé zhī yóu ， biàn jiāng yē hé huá diàn qián yuàn zi dāng zhōng fēn bié wèi shèng ， zài nà lǐ xiàn fán jì hé píng ān jì shēng de zhī yóu 。

Moreover Solomon made the middle of the court that was before the LORD’s house holy; for there he offered the burnt offerings and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat.

那時所羅門和以色列眾人，就是從哈馬口直到埃及小河，所有的以色列人都聚集成為大會，守節七日。

nà shí suǒ luó mén hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén ， jiù shì cóng hā mǎ kǒu zhí dào āi jí xiǎo hé ， suǒ yǒu de yǐ sè liè rén dōu jù jí chéng wéi dà huì ， shǒu jié qī rì 。

So Solomon held the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt.

第八日設立嚴肅會，行奉獻壇的禮七日，守節七日。

dì bā rì shè lì yán sù huì ， xíng fèng xiàn tán de lǐ qī rì ， shǒu jié qī rì 。

On the eighth day, they held a solemn assembly; for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

七月二十三日，王遣散眾民；他們因見耶和華向大衛和所羅門與他民以色列所施的恩惠，就都心中喜樂，各歸各家去了。

qī yuè èr shí sān rì ， wáng qiǎn sàn zhòng mín ； tā men yīn jiàn yē hé huá xiàng dà wèi hé suǒ luó mén yǔ tā mín yǐ sè liè suǒ shī de ēn huì ， jiù dōu xīn zhōng xǐ lè ， gè guī gè jiā qù le 。

On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that the LORD had shown to David, to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

所羅門造成了耶和華殿和王宮；在耶和華殿和王宮凡他心中所要做的，都順順利利地做成了。

suǒ luó mén zào chéng le yē hé huá diàn hé wáng gōng ； zài yē hé huá diàn hé wáng gōng fán tā xīn zhōng suǒ yào zuò de ， dōu shùn shùn lì lì dì zuò chéng le 。

Thus Solomon finished the LORD’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the LORD’s house and in his own house.

夜間耶和華向所羅門顯現，對他說：「我已聽了你的禱告，也選擇這地方作為祭祀我的殿宇。

yè jiān yē hé huá xiàng suǒ luó mén xiǎn xiàn ， duì tā shuō ：「 wǒ yǐ tīng le nǐ de dǎo gào ， yě xuǎn zé zhè dì fāng zuò wéi jì sì wǒ de diàn yǔ 。

Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself for a house of sacrifice.

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，

wǒ ruò shǐ tiān bì sè bú xià yǔ ， huò shǐ huáng chóng chī zhè dì de chū chǎn ， huò shǐ wēn yì liú xíng zài wǒ mín zhōng ，

“If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people,

這稱為我名下的子民，若是自卑、禱告，尋求我的面，轉離他們的惡行，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的地。

zhè chēng wéi wǒ míng xià de zǐ mín ， ruò shì zì bēi 、 dǎo gào ， xún qiú wǒ de miàn ， zhuǎn lí tā men de è xíng ， wǒ bì cóng tiān shàng chuí tīng ， shè miǎn tā men de zuì ， yī zhì tā men de dì 。

if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

我必睜眼看、側耳聽在此處所獻的禱告。

wǒ bì zhēng yǎn kàn 、 cè ěr tīng zài cǐ chù suǒ xiàn de dǎo gào 。

Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayer that is made in this place.

現在我已選擇這殿，分別為聖，使我的名永在其中，我的眼、我的心也必常在那裏。

xiàn zài wǒ yǐ xuǎn zé zhè diàn ， fēn bié wèi shèng ， shǐ wǒ de míng yǒng zài qí zhōng ， wǒ de yǎn 、 wǒ de xīn yě bì cháng zài nà lǐ 。

For now I have chosen and made this house holy, that my name may be there forever; and my eyes and my heart will be there perpetually.

你若在我面前效法你父大衛所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，

nǐ ruò zài wǒ miàn qián xiào fǎ nǐ fù dà wèi suǒ xíng de ， zūn xíng wǒ yí qiè suǒ fēn fù nǐ de ， jǐn shǒu wǒ de lǜ lì diǎn zhāng ，

“As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

我就必堅固你的國位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷人作以色列的王。』

wǒ jiù bì jiān gù nǐ de guó wèi ， zhèng rú wǒ yǔ nǐ fù dà wèi suǒ lì de yuē ， shuō ：『 nǐ de zǐ sūn bì bú duàn rén zuò yǐ sè liè de wáng 。』

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying, ‘There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’

「倘若你們轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命，去事奉敬拜別神，

「 tǎng ruò nǐ men zhuǎn qù diū qì wǒ zhǐ shì nǐ men de lǜ lì jiè mìng ， qù shì fèng jìng bài bié shén ，

But if you turn away and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,

我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。

wǒ jiù bì jiāng yǐ sè liè rén cóng wǒ cì gěi tā men de dì shàng bá chū gēn lái ， bìng qiě wǒ wèi jǐ míng suǒ fēn bié wèi shèng de diàn yě bì shè qì bú gù ， shǐ tā zài wàn mín zhōng zuò xiào tán ， bèi jī qiào 。

then I will pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』

zhè diàn suī rán shèn gāo ， jiāng lái jīng guò de rén bì jīng yà shuō ：『 yē hé huá wèi hé xiàng zhè dì hé zhè diàn rú cǐ xíng ne ？』

This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?’

人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄耶和華－他們列祖的上帝，就是領他們出埃及地的上帝，去親近別神，敬拜事奉他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

rén bì huí dá shuō ：『 shì yīn cǐ dì de rén lí qì yē hé huá — tā men liè zǔ de shén ， jiù shì lǐng tā men chū āi jí dì de shén ， qù qīn jìn bié shén ， jìng bài shì fèng tā ， suǒ yǐ yē hé huá shǐ zhè yí qiè zāi huò lín dào tā men 。』」

They shall answer, ‘Because they abandoned the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all this evil on them.’”
