哥林多後書 2

我自己定了主意再到你們那裏去，必須大家沒有憂愁。

wǒ zì jǐ dìng le zhǔ yì zài dào nǐ men nà lǐ qù ， bì xū dà jiā méi yǒu yōu chóu 。

But I determined this for myself, that I would not come to you again in sorrow.

倘若我叫你們憂愁，除了我叫那憂愁的人以外，誰能叫我快樂呢？

tǎng ruò wǒ jiào nǐ men yōu chóu ， chú le wǒ jiào nà yōu chóu de rén yǐ wài ， shuí néng jiào wǒ kuài lè ne ？

For if I make you grieve, then who will make me glad but he who is made to grieve by me?

我曾把這事寫給你們，恐怕我到的時候，應該叫我快樂的那些人，反倒叫我憂愁。我也深信，你們眾人都以我的快樂為自己的快樂。

wǒ céng bǎ zhè shì xiě gěi nǐ men ， kǒng pà wǒ dào de shí hòu ， yīng gāi jiào wǒ kuài lè de nà xiē rén ， fǎn dǎo jiào wǒ yōu chóu 。 wǒ yě shēn xìn ， nǐ men zhòng rén dōu yǐ wǒ de kuài lè wèi zì jǐ de kuài lè 。

And I wrote this very thing to you, so that when I came, I wouldn’t have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all that my joy would be shared by all of you.

我先前心裏難過痛苦，多多地流淚，寫信給你們，不是叫你們憂愁，乃是叫你們知道我格外地疼愛你們。

wǒ xiān qián xīn lǐ nán guò tòng kǔ ， duō duō dì liú lèi ， xiě xìn gěi nǐ men ， bú shì jiào nǐ men yōu chóu ， nǎi shì jiào nǐ men zhī dào wǒ gé wài dì téng ài nǐ men 。

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made to grieve, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.

若有叫人憂愁的，他不但叫我憂愁，也是叫你們眾人有幾分憂愁。我說幾分，恐怕說得太重。

ruò yǒu jiào rén yōu chóu de ， tā bú dàn jiào wǒ yōu chóu ， yě shì jiào nǐ men zhòng rén yǒu jǐ fēn yōu chóu 。 wǒ shuō jǐ fēn ， kǒng pà shuō dé tài zhòng 。

But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow not to me, but in part (that I not press too heavily) to you all.

這樣的人受了眾人的責罰也就夠了，

zhè yàng de rén shòu le zhòng rén de zé fá yě jiù gòu le ，

This punishment which was inflicted by the many is sufficient for such a one;

倒不如赦免他，安慰他，免得他憂愁太過，甚至沉淪了。

dǎo bù rú shè miǎn tā ， ān wèi tā ， miǎn de tā yōu chóu tài guò ， shèn zhì chén lún le 。

so that, on the contrary, you should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his excessive sorrow.

所以我勸你們，要向他顯出堅定不移的愛心來。

suǒ yǐ wǒ quàn nǐ men ， yào xiàng tā xiǎn chū jiān dìng bù yí de ài xīn lái 。

Therefore I beg you to confirm your love toward him.

為此我先前也寫信給你們，要試驗你們，看你們凡事順從不順從。

wèi cǐ wǒ xiān qián yě xiě xìn gěi nǐ men ， yào shì yàn nǐ men ， kàn nǐ men fán shì shùn cóng bú shùn cóng 。

For to this end I also wrote, that I might know the proof of you, whether you are obedient in all things.

你們赦免誰，我也赦免誰。我若有所赦免的，是在基督面前為你們赦免的，

nǐ men shè miǎn shuí ， wǒ yě shè miǎn shuí 。 wǒ ruò yǒu suǒ shè miǎn de ， shì zài jī dū miàn qián wèi nǐ men shè miǎn de ，

Now I also forgive whomever you forgive anything. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ,

免得撒但趁着機會勝過我們，因我們並非不曉得他的詭計。

miǎn dé sā dàn chèn zhe jī huì shèng guò wǒ men ， yīn wǒ men bìng fēi bù xiǎo de tā de guǐ jì 。

that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

我從前為基督的福音到了特羅亞，主也給我開了門。

wǒ cóng qián wèi jī dū de fú yīn dào le tè luó yà ， zhǔ yě gěi wǒ kāi le mén 。

Now when I came to Troas for the Good News of Christ, and when a door was opened to me in the Lord,

那時，因為沒有遇見兄弟提多，我心裏不安，便辭別那裏的人往馬其頓去了。

nà shí ， yīn wèi méi yǒu yù jiàn xiōng dì tí duō ， wǒ xīn lǐ bù ān ， biàn cí bié nà lǐ de rén wǎng mǎ qí dùn qù le 。

I had no relief for my spirit, because I didn’t find Titus my brother, but taking my leave of them, I went out into Macedonia.

感謝上帝！常率領我們在基督裏誇勝，並藉着我們在各處顯揚那因認識基督而有的香氣。

gǎn xiè shén ！ cháng shuài lǐng wǒ men zài jī dū lǐ kuā shèng ， bìng jiè zhe wǒ men zài gè chù xiǎn yáng nà yīn rèn shi jī dū ér yǒu de xiāng qì 。

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.

因為我們在上帝面前，無論在得救的人身上或滅亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之氣。

yīn wèi wǒ men zài shén miàn qián ， wú lùn zài dé jiù de rén shēn shàng huò miè wáng de rén shēn shàng ， dōu yǒu jī dū xīn xiāng zhī qì 。

For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God in those who are saved and in those who perish:

在這等人，就作了死的香氣叫他死；在那等人，就作了活的香氣叫他活。這事誰能當得起呢？

zài zhè děng rén ， jiù zuò le sǐ de xiāng qì jiào tā sǐ ； zài nà děng rén ， jiù zuò le huó de xiāng qì jiào tā huó 。 zhè shì shuí néng dāng dé qǐ ne ？

to the one a stench from death to death, to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?

我們不像那許多人，為利混亂上帝的道；乃是由於誠實，由於上帝，在上帝面前憑着基督講道。

wǒ men bú xiàng nà xǔ duō rén ， wèi lì hùn luàn shén de dào ； nǎi shì yóu yú chéng shí ， yóu yú shén ， zài shén miàn qián píng zhe jī dū jiǎng dào 。

For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.
