列王紀下 12

耶戶第七年，約阿施登基，在耶路撒冷作王四十年。他母親名叫西比亞，是別是巴人。

yē hù dì qī nián ， yuē ā shī dēng jī ， zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng sì shí nián 。 tā mǔ qīn míng jiào xī bǐ yà ， shì bié shì bā rén 。

Jehoash began to reign in the seventh year of Jehu, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba.

約阿施在祭司耶何耶大教訓他的時候，就行耶和華眼中看為正的事；

yuē ā shī zài jì sī yē hé yē dà jiào xùn tā de shí hòu ， jiù xíng yē hé huá yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì ；

Jehoash did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

只是邱壇還沒有廢去，百姓仍在那裏獻祭燒香。

zhǐ shì qiū tán hái méi yǒu fèi qù ， bǎi xìng réng zài nà lǐ xiàn jì shāo xiāng 。

However, the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.

約阿施對眾祭司說：「凡奉到耶和華殿分別為聖之物所值通用的銀子，或各人當納的身價，或樂意奉到耶和華殿的銀子，

yuē ā shī duì zhòng jì sī shuō ：「 fán fèng dào yē hé huá diàn fēn bié wèi shèng zhī wù suǒ zhí tōng yòng de yín zi ， huò gè rén dāng nà de shēn jià ， huò lè yì fèng dào yē hé huá diàn de yín zi ，

Jehoash said to the priests, “All the money of the holy things that is brought into the LORD’s house, in current money, the money of the people for whom each man is evaluated, and all the money that it comes into any man’s heart to bring into the LORD’s house,

你們當從所認識的人收了來，修理殿的一切破壞之處。」

nǐ men dāng cóng suǒ rèn shi de rén shōu le lái ， xiū lǐ diàn de yí qiè pò huài zhī chù 。」

let the priests take it to them, each man from his donor; and they shall repair the damage to the house, wherever any damage is found.”

無奈到了約阿施王二十三年，祭司仍未修理殿的破壞之處。

wú nài dào le yuē ā shī wáng èr shí sān nián ， jì sī réng wèi xiū lǐ diàn de pò huài zhī chù 。

But it was so, that in the twenty-third year of King Jehoash the priests had not repaired the damage to the house.

所以約阿施王召了大祭司耶何耶大和眾祭司來，對他們說：「你們怎麼不修理殿的破壞之處呢？從今以後，你們不要從所認識的人再收銀子，要將所收的交出來，修理殿的破壞之處。」

suǒ yǐ yuē ā shī wáng zhào le dà jì sī yē hé yē dà hé zhòng jì sī lái ， duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men zěn me bù xiū lǐ diàn de pò huài zhī chù ne ？ cóng jīn yǐ hòu ， nǐ men bú yào cóng suǒ rèn shi de rén zài shōu yín zi ， yào jiāng suǒ shōu de jiāo chū lái ， xiū lǐ diàn de pò huài zhī chù 。」

Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests, and said to them, “Why aren’t you repairing the damage to the house? Now therefore take no more money from your treasurers, but deliver it for repair of the damage to the house.”

眾祭司答應不再收百姓的銀子，也不修理殿的破壞之處。

zhòng jì sī dā ying bú zài shōu bǎi xìng de yín zi ， yě bù xiū lǐ diàn de pò huài zhī chù 。

The priests consented that they should take no more money from the people, and not repair the damage to the house.

祭司耶何耶大取了一個櫃子，在櫃蓋上鑽了一個窟窿，放於壇旁，在進耶和華殿的右邊；守門的祭司將奉到耶和華殿的一切銀子投在櫃裏。

jì sī yē hé yē dà qǔ le yí gè guì zi ， zài guì gài shàng zuàn le yí gè kū lóng ， fàng yú tán páng ， zài jìn yē hé huá diàn de yòu biān ； shǒu mén de jì sī jiāng fèng dào yē hé huá diàn de yí qiè yín zi tóu zài guì lǐ 。

But Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the LORD’s house; and the priests who kept the threshold put all the money that was brought into the LORD’s house into it.

他們見櫃裏的銀子多了，便叫王的書記和大祭司上來，將耶和華殿裏的銀子數算包起來。

tā men jiàn guì lǐ de yín zi duō le ， biàn jiào wáng de shū jì hé dà jì sī shàng lái ， jiāng yē hé huá diàn lǐ de yín zi shù suàn bāo qǐ lái 。

When they saw that there was much money in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest came up, and they put it in bags and counted the money that was found in the LORD’s house.

把所平的銀子交給督工的，就是耶和華殿裏辦事的人；他們把銀子轉交修理耶和華殿的木匠和工人，

bǎ suǒ píng de yín zi jiāo gěi dū gōng de ， jiù shì yē hé huá diàn lǐ bàn shì de rén ； tā men bǎ yín zi zhuǎn jiāo xiū lǐ yē hé huá diàn de mù jiàng hé gōng rén ，

They gave the money that was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the LORD’s house; and they paid it out to the carpenters and the builders who worked on the LORD’s house,

並瓦匠、石匠，又買木料和鑿成的石頭，修理耶和華殿的破壞之處，以及修理殿的各樣使用。

bìng wǎ jiàng 、 shí jiàng ， yòu mǎi mù liào hé záo chéng de shí tóu ， xiū lǐ yē hé huá diàn de pò huài zhī chù ， yǐ jí xiū lǐ diàn de gè yàng shǐ yòng 。

and to the masons and the stone cutters, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the damage to the LORD’s house, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.

但那奉到耶和華殿的銀子，沒有用以做耶和華殿裏的銀杯、蠟剪、碗、號，和別樣的金銀器皿，

dàn nà fèng dào yē hé huá diàn de yín zi ， méi yǒu yòng yǐ zuò yē hé huá diàn lǐ de yín bēi 、 là jiǎn 、 wǎn 、 hào ， hé bié yàng de jīn yín qì mǐn ，

But there were not made for the LORD’s house cups of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, any vessels of gold or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the LORD’s house;

乃將那銀子交給督工的人修理耶和華的殿；

nǎi jiāng nà yín zi jiāo gěi dū gōng de rén xiū lǐ yē hé huá de diàn ；

for they gave that to those who did the work, and repaired the LORD’s house with it.

且將銀子交給辦事的人轉交做工的人，不與他們算賬，因為他們辦事誠實。

qiě jiāng yín zi jiāo gěi bàn shì de rén zhuǎn jiāo zuò gōng de rén ， bù yǔ tā men suàn zhàng ， yīn wèi tā men bàn shì chéng shí 。

Moreover they didn’t demand an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to give to those who did the work; for they dealt faithfully.

惟有贖愆祭、贖罪祭的銀子沒有奉到耶和華的殿，都歸祭司。

wéi yǒu shú qiān jì 、 shú zuì jì de yín zi méi yǒu fèng dào yē hé huá de diàn ， dōu guī jì sī 。

The money for the trespass offerings and the money for the sin offerings was not brought into the LORD’s house. It was the priests’.

那時，亞蘭王哈薛上來攻打迦特，攻取了，就定意上來攻打耶路撒冷。

nà shí ， yà lán wáng hā xuē shàng lái gōng dǎ jiā tè ， gōng qǔ le ， jiù dìng yì shàng lái gōng dǎ yē lù sā lěng 。

Then Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath, and took it; and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

猶大王約阿施將他列祖猶大王約沙法、約蘭、亞哈謝所分別為聖的物和自己所分別為聖的物，並耶和華殿與王宮府庫裏所有的金子都送給亞蘭王哈薛；哈薛就不上耶路撒冷來了。

yóu dà wáng yuē ā shī jiāng tā liè zǔ yóu dà wáng yuē shā fǎ 、 yuē lán 、 yà hā xiè suǒ fēn bié wèi shèng de wù hé zì jǐ suǒ fēn bié wèi shèng de wù ， bìng yē hé huá diàn yǔ wáng gōng fǔ kù lǐ suǒ yǒu de jīn zǐ dōu sòng gěi yà lán wáng hā xuē ； hā xuē jiù bú shàng yē lù sā lěng lái le 。

Jehoash king of Judah took all the holy things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own holy things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the LORD’s house, and of the king’s house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria; and he went away from Jerusalem.

約阿施其餘的事，凡他所行的都寫在猶大列王記上。

yuē ā shī qí yú de shì ， fán tā suǒ xíng de dōu xiě zài yóu dà liè wáng jì shàng 。

Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

約阿施的臣僕起來背叛，在下悉拉的米羅宮那裏將他殺了。

yuē ā shī de chén pú qǐ lái bèi pàn ， zài xià xī lā de mǐ luó gōng nà lǐ jiāng tā shā le 。

His servants arose and made a conspiracy, and struck Joash at the house of Millo, on the way that goes down to Silla.

殺他的那臣僕就是示米押的兒子約撒甲和朔默的兒子約薩拔。眾人將他葬在大衛城他列祖的墳地裏。他兒子亞瑪謝接續他作王。

shā tā de nà chén pú jiù shì shì mǐ yā de ér zi yuē sā jiǎ hé shuò mò de ér zi yuē sà bá 。 zhòng rén jiāng tā zàng zài dà wèi chéng tā liè zǔ de fén dì lǐ 。 tā ér zi yà mǎ xiè jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

For Jozacar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, struck him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in David’s city; and Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
