亞哈謝的母親亞她利雅見她兒子死了，就起來剿滅王室。

yà hā xiè de mǔ qīn yà tā lì yǎ jiàn tā ér zi sǐ le ， jiù qǐ lái jiǎo miè wáng shì 。

Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal offspring.

但約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹子約示巴，將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從那被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裏，躲避亞她利雅，免得被殺。

dàn yuē lán wáng de nǚ ér ， yà hā xiè de mèi zǐ yuē shì bā ， jiāng yà hā xiè de ér zi yuē ā shī cóng nà bèi shā de wáng zǐ zhōng tōu chū lái ， bǎ tā hé tā de rǔ mǔ dōu cáng zài wò fáng lǐ ， duǒ bì yà tā lì yǎ ， miǎn de bèi shā 。

But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were slain, even him and his nurse, and put them in the bedroom; and they hid him from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.

約阿施和他的乳母藏在耶和華的殿裏六年；亞她利雅篡了國位。

yuē ā shī hé tā de rǔ mǔ cáng zài yē hé huá de diàn lǐ liù nián ； yà tā lì yǎ cuàn le guó wèi 。

He was with her hidden in the LORD’s house six years while Athaliah reigned over the land.

第七年，耶何耶大打發人叫迦利人 和護衛兵的眾百夫長來，領他們進了耶和華的殿，與他們立約，使他們在耶和華殿裏起誓，又將王的兒子指給他們看，

dì qī nián ， yē hé yē dà dǎ fā rén jiào jiā lì rén hé hù wèi bīng de zhòng bǎi fū zhǎng lái ， lǐng tā men jìn le yē hé huá de diàn ， yǔ tā men lì yuē ， shǐ tā men zài yē hé huá diàn lǐ qǐ shì ， yòu jiāng wáng de ér zi zhǐ gěi tā men kàn ，

In the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the captains over hundreds of the Carites and of the guard, and brought them to him into the LORD’s house; and he made a covenant with them, and made a covenant with them in the LORD’s house, and showed them the king’s son.

吩咐他們說：「你們當這樣行：凡安息日進班的三分之一要看守王宮，

fēn fù tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men dāng zhè yàng xíng ： fán ān xī rì jìn bān de sān fēn zhī yī yào kān shǒu wáng gōng ，

He commanded them, saying, “This is what you must do: a third of you, who come in on the Sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

三分之一要在蘇珥門，三分之一要在護衛兵院的後門。這樣把守王宮，攔阻閒人。

sān fēn zhī yī yào zài sū ěr mén ， sān fēn zhī yī yào zài hù wèi bīng yuàn de hòu mén 。 zhè yàng bǎ shǒu wáng gōng ， lán zǔ xián rén 。

a third of you shall be at the gate Sur; and a third of you at the gate behind the guard. So you shall keep the watch of the house, and be a barrier.

你們安息日所有出班的三分之二要在耶和華的殿裏護衛王；

nǐ men ān xī rì suǒ yǒu chū bān de sān fēn zhī èr yào zài yē hé huá de diàn lǐ hù wèi wáng ；

The two companies of you, even all who go out on the Sabbath, shall keep the watch of the LORD’s house around the king.

各人手拿兵器，四圍護衛王。凡擅入你們班次的必當治死，王出入的時候，你們當跟隨他。」

gè rén shǒu ná bīng qì ， sì wéi hù wèi wáng 。 fán shàn rù nǐ men bān cì de bì dāng zhì sǐ ， wáng chū rù de shí hòu ， nǐ men dāng gēn suí tā 。」

You shall surround the king, every man with his weapons in his hand; and he who comes within the ranks, let him be slain. Be with the king when he goes out, and when he comes in.”

眾百夫長就照着祭司耶何耶大一切所吩咐的去行，各帶所管安息日進班出班的人來見祭司耶何耶大。

zhòng bǎi fū zhǎng jiù zhào zhe jì sī yē hé yē dà yí qiè suǒ fēn fù de qù xíng ， gè dài suǒ guǎn ān xī rì jìn bān chū bān de rén lái jiàn jì sī yē hé yē dà 。

The captains over hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded; and they each took his men, those who were to come in on the Sabbath with those who were to go out on the Sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.

祭司便將耶和華殿裏所藏大衛王的槍和盾牌交給百夫長。

jì sī biàn jiāng yē hé huá diàn lǐ suǒ cáng dà wèi wáng de qiāng hé dùn pái jiāo gěi bǎi fū zhǎng 。

The priest delivered to the captains over hundreds the spears and shields that had been King David’s, which were in the LORD’s house.

護衛兵手中各拿兵器，在壇和殿那裏，從殿右直到殿左，站在王子的四圍。

hù wèi bīng shǒu zhōng gè ná bīng qì ， zài tán hé diàn nà lǐ ， cóng diàn yòu zhí dào diàn zuǒ ， zhàn zài wáng zǐ de sì wéi 。

The guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, along by the altar and the house, around the king.

祭司領王子出來，給他戴上冠冕，將律法書交給他，膏他作王；眾人就拍掌說：「願王萬歲！」

jì sī lǐng wáng zǐ chū lái ， gěi tā dài shàng guān miǎn ， jiāng lǜ fǎ shū jiāo gěi tā ， gāo tā zuò wáng ； zhòng rén jiù pāi zhǎng shuō ：「 yuàn wáng wàn suì ！」

Then he brought out the king’s son, and put the crown on him, and gave him the covenant; and they made him king and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, “Long live the king!”

亞她利雅聽見護衛兵和民的聲音，就到民那裏，進耶和華的殿，

yà tā lì yǎ tīng jiàn hù wèi bīng hé mín de shēng yīn ， jiù dào mín nà lǐ ， jìn yē hé huá de diàn ，

When Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the LORD’s house;

看見王照例站在柱旁，百夫長和吹號的人侍立在王左右，國中的眾民歡樂吹號；亞她利雅就撕裂衣服，喊叫說：「反了！反了！」

kàn jiàn wáng zhào lì zhàn zài zhù páng ， bǎi fū zhǎng hé chuī hào de rén shì lì zài wáng zuǒ yòu ， guó zhōng de zhòng mín huān lè chuī hào ； yà tā lì yǎ jiù sī liè yī fu ， hǎn jiào shuō ：「 fǎn le ！ fǎn le ！」

and she looked, and behold, the king stood by the pillar, as the tradition was, with the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets. Then Athaliah tore her clothes and cried, “Treason! Treason!”

祭司耶何耶大吩咐管轄軍兵的百夫長說：「將她趕出班外，凡跟隨她的必用刀殺死！」因為祭司說「不可在耶和華殿裏殺她」，

jì sī yē hé yē dà fēn fù guǎn xiá jūn bīng de bǎi fū zhǎng shuō ：「 jiāng tā gǎn chū bān wài ， fán gēn suí tā de bì yòng dāo shā sǐ ！」 yīn wèi jì sī shuō 「 bù kě zài yē hé huá diàn lǐ shā tā 」，

Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, “Bring her out between the ranks. Kill anyone who follows her with the sword.” For the priest said, “Don’t let her be slain in the LORD’s house.”

眾兵就閃開讓她去；她從馬路上王宮去，便在那裏被殺。

zhòng bīng jiù shǎn kāi ràng tā qù ； tā cóng mǎ lù shang wáng gōng qù ， biàn zài nà lǐ bèi shā 。

So they seized her; and she went by the way of the horses’ entry to the king’s house, and she was slain there.

耶何耶大使王和民與耶和華立約，作耶和華的民；又使王與民立約。

yē hé yē dà shǐ wáng hé mín yǔ yē hé huá lì yuē ， zuò yē hé huá de mín ； yòu shǐ wáng yǔ mín lì yuē 。

Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD’s people; also between the king and the people.

於是國民都到巴力廟，拆毀了廟，打碎壇和像，又在壇前將巴力的祭司瑪坦殺了。祭司耶何耶大派官看守耶和華的殿，

yú shì guó mín dōu dào bā lì miào ， chāi huǐ le miào ， dǎ suì tán hé xiàng ， yòu zài tán qián jiāng bā lì de jì sī mǎ tǎn shā le 。 jì sī yē hé yē dà pài guān kān shǒu yē hé huá de diàn ，

All the people of the land went to the house of Baal, and broke it down. They broke his altars and his images in pieces thoroughly, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. The priest appointed officers over the LORD’s house.

又率領百夫長和迦利人 與護衛兵，以及國中的眾民，請王從耶和華殿下來，由護衛兵的門進入王宮，他就坐了王位。

yòu shuài lǐng bǎi fū cháng hé jiā lì rén yǔ hù wèi bīng ， yǐ jí guó zhōng de zhòng mín ， qǐng wáng cóng yē hé huá diàn xià lái ， yóu hù wèi bīng de mén jìn rù wáng gōng ， tā jiù zuò le wáng wèi 。

He took the captains over hundreds, and the Carites, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the LORD’s house, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king’s house. He sat on the throne of the kings.

國民都歡樂，閤城都安靜。眾人已將亞她利雅在王宮那裏用刀殺了。

guó mín dōu huān lè ， hé chéng dōu ān jìng 。 zhòng rén yǐ jiāng yà tā lì yǎ zài wáng gōng nà lǐ yòng dāo shā le 。

So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. They had slain Athaliah with the sword at the king’s house.

約阿施登基的時候年方七歲。

yuē ā shī dēng jī de shí hòu nián fāng qī suì 。

Jehoash was seven years old when he began to reign.
