此後，押沙龍為自己預備車馬，又派五十人在他前頭奔走。

cǐ hòu ， yā shā lóng wèi zì jǐ yù bèi chē mǎ ， yòu pài wǔ shí rén zài tā qián tou bēn zǒu 。

After this, Absalom prepared a chariot and horses for himself, and fifty men to run before him.

押沙龍常常早晨起來，站在城門的道旁，凡有爭訟要去求王判斷的，押沙龍就叫他過來，問他說：「你是哪一城的人？」回答說：「僕人是以色列某支派的人。」

yā shā lóng cháng cháng zǎo chén qǐ lái ， zhàn zài chéng mén de dào páng ， fán yǒu zhēng sòng yào qù qiú wáng pàn duàn de ， yā shā lóng jiù jiào tā guò lái ， wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ shì nǎ yì chéng de rén ？」 huí dá shuō ：「 pú rén shì yǐ sè liè mǒu zhī pài de rén 。」

Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate. When any man had a suit which should come to the king for judgment, then Absalom called to him, and said, “What city are you from?” He said, “Your servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.”

押沙龍對他說：「你的事有情有理，無奈王沒有委人聽你伸訴。」

yā shā lóng duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ de shì yǒu qíng yǒu lǐ ， wú nài wáng méi yǒu wěi rén tīng nǐ shēn sù 。」

Absalom said to him, “Behold, your matters are good and right; but there is no man deputized by the king to hear you.”

押沙龍又說：「恨不得我作國中的士師！凡有爭訟求審判的到我這裏來，我必秉公判斷。」

yā shā lóng yòu shuō ：「 hèn bù dé wǒ zuò guó zhōng de shì shī ！ fán yǒu zhēng sòng qiú shěn pàn de dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái ， wǒ bì bǐng gōng pàn duàn 。」

Absalom said moreover, “Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man who has any suit or cause might come to me, and I would do him justice!”

若有人近前來要拜押沙龍，押沙龍就伸手拉住他，與他親嘴。

ruò yǒu rén jìn qián lái yào bài yā shā lóng ， yā shā lóng jiù shēn shǒu lā zhù tā ， yǔ tā qīn zuǐ 。

It was so, that when any man came near to bow down to him, he stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and kissed him.

以色列人中，凡去見王求判斷的，押沙龍都是如此待他們。這樣，押沙龍暗中得了以色列人的心。

yǐ sè liè rén zhōng ， fán qù jiàn wáng qiú pàn duàn de ， yā shā lóng dōu shì rú cǐ dài tā men 。 zhè yàng ， yā shā lóng àn zhōng dé le yǐ sè liè rén de xīn 。

Absalom did this sort of thing to all Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

滿了四十年 ，押沙龍對王說：「求你准我往希伯崙去，還我向耶和華所許的願。

mǎn le sì shí nián ， yā shā lóng duì wáng shuō ：「 qiú nǐ zhǔn wǒ wǎng xī bó qù ， hái wǒ xiàng yē hé huá suǒ xǔ de yuàn 。

At the end of forty years, Absalom said to the king, “Please let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed to the LORD, in Hebron.

因為僕人住在亞蘭的基述，曾許願說：『耶和華若使我再回耶路撒冷，我必事奉他。』」

yīn wèi pú rén zhù zài yà lán de jī shù ， céng xǔ yuàn shuō ：『 yē hé huá ruò shǐ wǒ zài huí yē lù sā lěng ， wǒ bì shì fèng tā 。』」

For your servant vowed a vow while I stayed at Geshur in Syria, saying, ‘If the LORD shall indeed bring me again to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.’”

王說：「你平平安安地去吧！」押沙龍就起身，往希伯崙去了。

wáng shuō ：「 nǐ píng píng ān ān dì qù ba ！」 yā shā lóng jiù qǐ shēn ， wǎng xī bó qù le 。

The king said to him, “Go in peace.” So he arose and went to Hebron.

押沙龍打發探子走遍以色列各支派，說：「你們一聽見角聲就說：『押沙龍在希伯崙作王了！』」

yā shā lóng dǎ fā tàn zǐ zǒu biàn yǐ sè liè gè zhī pài ， shuō ：「 nǐ men yì tīng jiàn jiǎo shēng jiù shuō ：『 yā shā lóng zài xī bó zuò wáng le ！』」

But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then you shall say, ‘Absalom is king in Hebron!’”

押沙龍在耶路撒冷請了二百人與他同去，都是誠誠實實去的，並不知道其中的真情。

yā shā lóng zài yē lù sā lěng qǐng le èr bǎi rén yǔ tā tóng qù ， dōu shì chéng chéng shí shí qù de ， bìng bù zhī dào qí zhōng de zhēn qíng 。

Two hundred men went with Absalom out of Jerusalem, who were invited, and went in their simplicity; and they didn’t know anything.

押沙龍獻祭的時候，打發人去將大衛的謀士、基羅人亞希多弗從他本城請了來。於是叛逆的勢派甚大；因為隨從押沙龍的人民，日漸增多。

yā shā lóng xiàn jì de shí hòu ， dǎ fā rén qù jiāng dà wèi de móu shì 、 jī luó rén yà xī duō fú cóng tā běn chéng qǐng le lái 。 yú shì pàn nì de shì pài shèn dà ； yīn wèi suí cóng yā shā lóng de rén mín ， rì jiàn zēng duō 。

Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counselor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. The conspiracy was strong, for the people increased continually with Absalom.

有人報告大衛說：「以色列人的心都歸向押沙龍了！」

yǒu rén bào gào dà wèi shuō ：「 yǐ sè liè rén de xīn dōu guī xiàng yā shā lóng le ！」

A messenger came to David, saying, “The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.”

大衛就對耶路撒冷跟隨他的臣僕說：「我們要起來逃走，不然都不能躲避押沙龍了；要速速地去，恐怕他忽然來到，加害於我們，用刀殺盡合城的人。」

dà wèi jiù duì yē lù sā lěng gēn suí tā de chén pú shuō ：「 wǒ men yào qǐ lái táo zǒu ， bù rán dōu bù néng duǒ bì yā shā lóng le ； yào sù sù dì qù ， kǒng pà tā hū rán lái dào ， jiā hài yú wǒ men ， yòng dāo shā jìn hé chéng de rén 。」

David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, “Arise! Let’s flee, or else none of us will escape from Absalom. Hurry to depart, lest he overtake us quickly and bring down evil on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

王的臣僕對王說：「我主我王所定的，僕人都願遵行。」

wáng de chén pú duì wáng shuō ：「 wǒ zhǔ wǒ wáng suǒ dìng de ， pú rén dōu yuàn zūn xíng 。」

The king’s servants said to the king, “Behold, your servants are ready to do whatever my lord the king chooses.”

於是王帶着全家的人出去了，但留下十個妃嬪看守宮殿。

yú shì wáng dài zhe quán jiā de rén chū qù le ， dàn liú xià shí gè fēi pín kān shǒu gōng diàn 。

The king went out, and all his household after him. The king left ten women, who were concubines, to keep the house.

王出去，眾民都跟隨他，到伯墨哈，就住下了。

wáng chū qù ， zhòng mín dōu gēn suí tā ， dào bó · mò hā ， jiù zhù xià le 。

The king went out, and all the people after him; and they stayed in Beth Merhak.

王的臣僕都在他面前過去。基利提人、比利提人，就是從迦特跟隨王來的六百人，也都在他面前過去。

wáng de chén pú dōu zài tā miàn qián guò qù 。 jī lì tí rén 、 bǐ lì tí rén ， jiù shì cóng jiā tè gēn suí wáng lái de liù bǎi rén ， yě dōu zài tā miàn qián guò qù 。

All his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men who came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.

王對迦特人以太說：「你是外邦逃來的人，為甚麼與我們同去呢？你可以回去與新王同住，或者回你本地去吧！

wáng duì jiā tè rén yǐ tài shuō ：「 nǐ shì wài bāng táo lái de rén ， wèi shén me yǔ wǒ men tóng qù ne ？ nǐ kě yǐ huí qù yǔ xīn wáng tóng zhù ， huò zhě huí nǐ běn dì qù ba ！

Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, “Why do you also go with us? Return, and stay with the king; for you are a foreigner and also an exile. Return to your own place.

你來的日子不多，我今日怎好叫你與我們一同飄流、沒有一定的住處呢？你不如帶你的弟兄回去吧！願耶和華用慈愛誠實待你。」

nǐ lái de rì zi bù duō ， wǒ jīn rì zěn hǎo jiào nǐ yǔ wǒ men yì tóng piāo liú 、 méi yǒu yí dìng de zhù chù ne ？ nǐ bù rú dài nǐ de dì xiong huí qù ba ！ yuàn yē hé huá yòng cí ài chéng shí dài nǐ 。」

Whereas you came but yesterday, should I today make you go up and down with us, since I go where I may? Return, and take back your brothers. Mercy and truth be with you.”

以太對王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：無論生死，王在哪裏，僕人也必在那裏。」

yǐ tài duì wáng shuō ：「 wǒ zhǐ zhe yǒng shēng de yē hé huá qǐ shì ， yòu gǎn zài wáng miàn qián qǐ shì ： wú lùn shēng sǐ ， wáng zài nǎ lǐ ， pú rén yě bì zài nà lǐ 。」

Ittai answered the king and said, “As the LORD lives, and as my lord the king lives, surely in what place my lord the king is, whether for death or for life, your servant will be there also.”

大衛對以太說：「你前去過河吧！」於是迦特人以太帶着跟隨他的人和所有的婦人孩子，就都過去了。

dà wèi duì yǐ tài shuō ：「 nǐ qián qù guò hé ba ！」 yú shì jiā tè rén yǐ tài dài zhe gēn suí tā de rén hé suǒ yǒu de fù rén hái zi ， jiù dōu guò qù le 。

David said to Ittai, “Go and pass over.” Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones who were with him.

本地的人都放聲大哭。眾民盡都過去，王也過了汲淪溪；眾民往曠野去了。

běn dì de rén dōu fàng shēng dà kū 。 zhòng mín jìn dōu guò qù ， wáng yě guò le jí lún xī ； zhòng mín wǎng kuàng yě qù le 。

All the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over. The king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over toward the way of the wilderness.

撒督和抬上帝約櫃的利未人也一同來了，將上帝的約櫃放下。亞比亞他上來，等着眾民從城裏出來過去。

sā dū hé tái shén yuē guì de lì wèi rén yě yì tóng lái le ， jiāng shén de yuē guì fàng xià 。 yà bǐ yà tā shàng lái ， děng zhe zhòng mín cóng chéng lǐ chū lái guò qù 。

Behold, Zadok also came, and all the Levites with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God; and they set down God’s ark; and Abiathar went up until all the people finished passing out of the city.

王對撒督說：「你將上帝的約櫃抬回城去。我若在耶和華眼前蒙恩，他必使我回來，再見約櫃和他的居所。

wáng duì sā dū shuō ：「 nǐ jiāng shén de yuē guì tái huí chéng qù 。 wǒ ruò zài yē hé huá yǎn qián méng ēn ， tā bì shǐ wǒ huí lái ， zài jiàn yuē guì hé tā de jū suǒ 。

The king said to Zadok, “Carry God’s ark back into the city. If I find favor in the LORD’s eyes, he will bring me again, and show me both it and his habitation;

倘若他說：『我不喜悅你』，看哪，我在這裏，願他憑自己的意旨待我！」

tǎng ruò tā shuō ：『 wǒ bù xǐ yuè nǐ 』， kàn nǎ ， wǒ zài zhè lǐ ， yuàn tā píng zì jǐ de yì zhǐ dài wǒ ！」

but if he says, ‘I have no delight in you,’ behold, here I am. Let him do to me as seems good to him.”

王又對祭司撒督說：「你不是先見嗎？你可以安然回城；你兒子亞希瑪斯和亞比亞他的兒子約拿單都可以與你同去。

wáng yòu duì jì sī sā dū shuō ：「 nǐ bú shì xiān jiàn ma ？ nǐ kě yǐ ān rán huí chéng ； nǐ ér zi yà xī mǎ sī hé yà bǐ yà tā de ér zi yuē ná dān dōu kě yǐ yǔ nǐ tóng qù 。

The king said also to Zadok the priest, “Aren’t you a seer? Return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz your son and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

我在曠野的渡口那裏等你們報信給我。」

wǒ zài kuàng yě de dù kǒu nà lǐ děng nǐ men bào xìn gěi wǒ 。」

Behold, I will stay at the fords of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me.”

於是撒督和亞比亞他將上帝的約櫃抬回耶路撒冷，他們就住在那裏。

yú shì sā dū hé yà bǐ yà tā jiāng shén de yuē guì tái huí yē lù sā lěng ， tā men jiù zhù zài nà lǐ 。

Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried God’s ark to Jerusalem again; and they stayed there.

大衛蒙頭赤腳上橄欖山，一面上一面哭。跟隨他的人也都蒙頭哭着上去；

dà wèi méng tóu chì jiǎo shàng gǎn lǎn shān ， yí miàn shàng yí miàn kū 。 gēn suí tā de rén yě dōu méng tóu kū zhe shàng qù ；

David went up by the ascent of the Mount of Olives, and wept as he went up; and he had his head covered and went barefoot. All the people who were with him each covered his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

有人告訴大衛說：「亞希多弗也在叛黨之中，隨從押沙龍。」大衛禱告說：「耶和華啊，求你使亞希多弗的計謀變為愚拙！」

yǒu rén gào sù dà wèi shuō ：「 yà xī duō fú yě zài pàn dǎng zhī zhōng ， suí cóng yā shā lóng 。」 dà wèi dǎo gào shuō ：「 yē hé huá a ， qiú nǐ shǐ yà xī duō fú de jì móu biàn wèi yú zhuō ！」

Someone told David, saying, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” David said, “LORD, please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.”

大衛到了山頂、敬拜上帝的地方，見亞基人戶篩，衣服撕裂，頭蒙灰塵來迎接他。

dà wèi dào le shān dǐng 、 jìng bài shén de dì fāng ， jiàn yà jī rén hù shāi ， yī fu sī liè ， tóu méng huī chén lái yíng jiē tā 。

When David had come to the top, where God was worshiped, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his tunic torn and earth on his head.

大衛對他說：「你若與我同去，必累贅我；

dà wèi duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ ruò yǔ wǒ tóng qù ， bì léi zhui wǒ ；

David said to him, “If you pass on with me, then you will be a burden to me;

你若回城去，對押沙龍說：『王啊，我願作你的僕人；我向來作你父親的僕人，現在我也照樣作你的僕人。』這樣，你就可以為我破壞亞希多弗的計謀。

nǐ ruò huí chéng qù ， duì yā shā lóng shuō ：『 wáng a ， wǒ yuàn zuò nǐ de pú rén ； wǒ xiàng lái zuò nǐ fù qīn de pú rén ， xiàn zài wǒ yě zhào yàng zuò nǐ de pú rén 。』 zhè yàng ， nǐ jiù kě yǐ wéi wǒ pò huài yà xī duō fú de jì móu 。

but if you return to the city, and tell Absalom, ‘I will be your servant, O king. As I have been your father’s servant in time past, so I will now be your servant; then you will defeat for me the counsel of Ahithophel.’

祭司撒督和亞比亞他豈不都在那裏嗎？你在王宮裏聽見甚麼，就要告訴祭司撒督和亞比亞他。

jì sī sā dū hé yà bǐ yà tā qǐ bù dōu zài nà lǐ ma ？ nǐ zài wáng gōng lǐ tīng jiàn shén me ， jiù yào gào sù jì sī sā dū hé yà bǐ yà tā 。

Don’t you have Zadok and Abiathar the priests there with you? Therefore whatever you hear out of the king’s house, tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯，亞比亞他的兒子約拿單，也都在那裏。凡你們所聽見的可以託這二人來報告我。」

sā dū de ér zi yà xī mǎ sī ， yà bǐ yà tā de ér zi yuē ná dān ， yě dōu zài nà lǐ 。 fán nǐ men suǒ tīng jiàn de kě yǐ tuō zhè èr rén lái bào gào wǒ 。」

Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz, Zadok’s son, and Jonathan, Abiathar’s son. Send to me everything that you shall hear by them.”

於是，大衛的朋友戶篩進了城；押沙龍也進了耶路撒冷。

yú shì ， dà wèi de péng yǒu hù shāi jìn le chéng ； yā shā lóng yě jìn le yē lù sā lěng 。

So Hushai, David’s friend, came into the city; and Absalom came into Jerusalem.
