此後，大衛攻打非利士人，把他們治服，從他們手下奪取了京城的權柄 ；

cǐ hòu ， dà wèi gōng dǎ fēi lì shì rén ， bǎ tā men zhì fú ， cóng tā men shǒu xià duó qǔ le jīng chéng de quán bǐng ；

After this, David struck the Philistines and subdued them; and David took the bridle of the mother city out of the hand of the Philistines.

又攻打摩押人，使他們躺臥在地上，用繩量一量：量二繩的殺了，量一繩的存留。摩押人就歸服大衛，給他進貢。

yòu gōng dǎ mó yā rén ， shǐ tā men tǎng wò zài dì shàng ， yòng shéng liáng yi liáng ： liáng èr shéng de shā le ， liáng yì shéng de cún liú 。 mó yā rén jiù guī fú dà wèi ， gěi tā jìn gòng 。

He defeated Moab, and measured them with the line, making them to lie down on the ground; and he measured two lines to put to death, and one full line to keep alive. The Moabites became servants to David, and brought tribute.

瑣巴王利合的兒子哈大底謝往大河去，要奪回他的國權。大衛就攻打他，

suǒ bā wáng lì hé de ér zǐ hā dà dǐ xiè wǎng dà hé qù ， yào duó huí tā de guó quán 。 dà wèi jiù gōng dǎ tā ，

David also struck Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his dominion at the River.

擒拿了他的馬兵一千七百，步兵二萬，將拉戰車的馬砍斷蹄筋，但留下一百輛車的馬。

qín ná le tā de mǎ bīng yì qiān qī bǎi ， bù bīng èr wàn ， jiāng lā zhàn chē de mǎ kǎn duàn tí jīn ， dàn liú xià yì bǎi liàng chē de mǎ 。

David took from him one thousand seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand footmen. David hamstrung the chariot horses, but reserved enough of them for one hundred chariots.

大馬士革的亞蘭人來幫助瑣巴王哈大底謝，大衛就殺了亞蘭人二萬二千。

dà mǎ shì gé de yà lán rén lái bāng zhù suǒ bā wáng hā dà dǐ xiè ， dà wèi jiù shā le yà lán rén èr wàn èr qiān 。

When the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck twenty two thousand men of the Syrians.

於是大衛在大馬士革的亞蘭地設立防營，亞蘭人就歸服他，給他進貢。大衛無論往哪裏去，耶和華都使他得勝。

yú shì dà wèi zài dà mǎ shì gé de yà lán dì shè lì fáng yíng ， yà lán rén jiù guī fú tā ， gěi tā jìn gòng 。 dà wèi wú lùn wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， yē hé huá dōu shǐ tā dé shèng 。

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought tribute. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

他奪了哈大底謝臣僕所拿的金盾牌，帶到耶路撒冷。

tā duó le hā dà dǐ xiè chén pú suǒ ná de jīn dùn pái ， dài dào yē lù sā lěng 。

David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

大衛王又從屬哈大底謝的比他和比羅他城中奪取了許多的銅。

dà wèi wáng yòu cóng shǔ hā dà dǐ xiè de bǐ tā hé bǐ luó tā chéng zhōng duó qǔ le xǔ duō de tóng 。

From Betah and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took a great quantity of bronze.

哈馬王陀以聽見大衛殺敗哈大底謝的全軍，

hā mǎ wáng tuó yǐ tīng jiàn dà wèi shā bài hā dà dǐ xiè de quán jūn ，

When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had struck all the army of Hadadezer,

就打發他兒子約蘭去見大衛王，問他的安，為他祝福，因為他殺敗了哈大底謝（原來陀以與哈大底謝常常爭戰）。約蘭帶了金銀銅的器皿來，

jiù dǎ fā tā ér zi yuē lán qù jiàn dà wèi wáng ， wèn tā de ān ， wèi tā zhù fú ， yīn wèi tā shā bài le hā dà dǐ xiè （ yuán lái tuó yǐ yǔ hā dà dǐ xiè cháng cháng zhēng zhàn ）。 yuē lán dài le jīn yín tóng de qì mǐn lái ，

then Toi sent Joram his son to King David to greet him and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and struck him; for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. Joram brought with him vessels of silver, vessels of gold, and vessels of bronze.

大衛王將這些器皿和他治服各國所得來的金銀都分別為聖，獻給耶和華，

dà wèi wáng jiāng zhè xiē qì mǐn hé tā zhì fú gè guó suǒ dé lái de jīn yín dōu fēn bié wèi shèng ， xiàn gěi yē hé huá ，

King David also dedicated these to the LORD, with the silver and gold that he dedicated of all the nations which he subdued—

就是從亞蘭、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞瑪力人所得來的，以及從瑣巴王利合的兒子哈大底謝所掠之物。

jiù shì cóng yà lán 、 mó yā 、 yà mén 、 fēi lì shì 、 yà mǎ lì rén suǒ dé lái de ， yǐ jí cóng suǒ bā wáng lì hé de ér zi hā dà dǐ xiè suǒ lüè zhī wù 。

of Syria, of Moab, of the children of Ammon, of the Philistines, of Amalek, and of the plunder of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

大衛在鹽谷擊殺了亞蘭 一萬八千人回來，就得了大名；

dà wèi zài yán gǔ jī shā le yà lán yí wàn bā qiān rén huí lái ， jiù dé le dà míng ；

David earned a reputation when he returned from striking down eighteen thousand men of the Syrians in the Valley of Salt.

又在以東全地設立防營，以東人就都歸服大衛。大衛無論往哪裏去，耶和華都使他得勝。

yòu zài yǐ dōng quán dì shè lì fáng yíng ， yǐ dōng rén jiù dōu guī fú dà wèi 。 dà wèi wú lùn wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， yē hé huá dōu shǐ tā dé shèng 。

He put garrisons in Edom. Throughout all Edom, he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became servants to David. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

大衛作以色列眾人的王，又向眾民秉公行義。

dà wèi zuò yǐ sè liè zhòng rén de wáng ， yòu xiàng zhòng mín bǐng gōng xíng yì 。

David reigned over all Israel; and David executed justice and righteousness for all his people.

洗魯雅的兒子約押作元帥；亞希律的兒子約沙法作史官；

xǐ lǔ yǎ de ér zi yuē yā zuò yuán shuài ； yà xī lǜ de ér zi yuē shā fǎ zuò shǐ guān ；

Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder,

亞希突的兒子撒督和亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒作祭司長；西萊雅作書記；

yà xī tū de ér zǐ sā dū hé yà bǐ yà tā de ér zi yà xī mǐ lè zuò jì sī zhǎng ； xī lái yǎ zuò shū jì ；

Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, Seraiah was scribe,

耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統轄基利提人和比利提人。大衛的眾子都作領袖。

yē hé yē dà de ér zi bǐ ná yǎ tǒng xiá jī lì tí rén hé bǐ lì tí rén 。 dà wèi de zhòng zǐ dōu zuò lǐng xiù 。

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief ministers.
