申命記 17

「凡有殘疾，或有甚麼惡病的牛羊，你都不可獻給耶和華－你的上帝，因為這是耶和華－你上帝所憎惡的。

「 fán yǒu cán jí ， huò yǒu shén me è bìng de niú yáng ， nǐ dōu bù kě xiàn gěi yē hé huá — nǐ de shén ， yīn wèi zhè shì yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ zēng wù de 。

You shall not sacrifice to the LORD your God an ox or a sheep in which is a defect or anything evil; for that is an abomination to the LORD your God.

「在你們中間，在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的諸城中，無論哪座城裏，若有人，或男或女，行耶和華－你上帝眼中看為惡的事，違背了他的約，

「 zài nǐ men zhōng jiān ， zài yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ cì nǐ de zhū chéng zhōng ， wú lùn nǎ zuò chéng lǐ ， ruò yǒu rén ， huò nán huò nǚ ， xíng yē hé huá — nǐ shén yǎn zhōng kàn wèi è de shì ， wéi bèi le tā de yuē ，

If there is found among you, within any of your gates which the LORD your God gives you, a man or woman who does that which is evil in the LORD your God’s sight in transgressing his covenant,

去事奉敬拜別神，或拜日頭，或拜月亮，或拜天象，是主不曾吩咐的；

qù shì fèng jìng bài bié shén ， huò bài rì tou ， huò bài yuè liàng ， huò bài tiān xiàng ， shì zhǔ bù céng fēn fù de ；

and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun, or the moon, or any of the stars of the sky, which I have not commanded,

有人告訴你，你也聽見了，就要細細地探聽，果然是真，準有這可憎惡的事行在以色列中，

yǒu rén gào sù nǐ ， nǐ yě tīng jiàn le ， jiù yào xì xì dì tàn tīng ， guǒ rán shì zhēn ， zhǔn yǒu zhè kě zēng wù de shì xíng zài yǐ sè liè zhōng ，

and you are told, and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire diligently. Behold, if it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is done in Israel,

你就要將行這惡事的男人或女人拉到城門外，用石頭將他打死。

nǐ jiù yào jiāng xíng zhè è shì de nán rén huò nǚ rén lā dào chéng mén wài ， yòng shí tou jiāng tā dǎ sǐ 。

then you shall bring out that man or that woman who has done this evil thing to your gates, even that same man or woman; and you shall stone them to death with stones.

要憑兩三個人的口作見證將那當死的人治死；不可憑一個人的口作見證將他治死。

yào píng liǎng sān gè rén de kǒu zuò jiàn zhèng jiāng nà dāng sǐ de rén zhì sǐ ； bù kě píng yí gè rén de kǒu zuò jiàn zhèng jiāng tā zhì sǐ 。

At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death. At the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

見證人要先下手，然後眾民也下手將他治死。這樣，就把那惡從你們中間除掉。

jiàn zhèng rén yào xiān xià shǒu ， rán hòu zhòng mín yě xià shǒu jiāng tā zhì sǐ 。 zhè yàng ， jiù bǎ nà è cóng nǐ men zhōng jiān chú diào 。

The hands of the witnesses shall be first on him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

「你城中若起了爭訟的事，或因流血，或因爭競，或因毆打，是你難斷的案件，你就當起來，往耶和華－你上帝所選擇的地方

「 nǐ chéng zhōng ruò qǐ le zhēng sòng de shì ， huò yīn liú xuè ， huò yīn zhēng jìng ， huò yīn ōu dǎ ， shì nǐ nán duàn de àn jiàn ， nǐ jiù dāng qǐ lái ， wǎng yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ xuǎn zé de dì fāng

If there arises a matter too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise, and go up to the place which the LORD your God chooses.

去見祭司利未人，並當時的審判官，求問他們，他們必將判語指示你。

qù jiàn jì sī lì wèi rén ， bìng dāng shí de shěn pàn guān ， qiú wèn tā men ， tā men bì jiāng pàn yǔ zhǐ shì nǐ 。

You shall come to the priests who are Levites and to the judge who shall be in those days. You shall inquire, and they shall give you the verdict.

他們在耶和華所選擇的地方指示你的判語，你必照着他們所指教你的一切話謹守遵行。

tā men zài yē hé huá suǒ xuǎn zé de dì fāng zhǐ shì nǐ de pàn yǔ ， nǐ bì zhào zhe tā men suǒ zhǐ jiào nǐ de yí qiè huà jǐn shǒu zūn xíng 。

You shall do according to the decisions of the verdict which they shall give you from that place which the LORD chooses. You shall observe to do according to all that they shall teach you.

要按他們所指教你的律法，照他們所斷定的去行；他們所指示你的判語，你不可偏離左右。

yào àn tā men suǒ zhǐ jiào nǐ de lǜ fǎ ， zhào tā men suǒ duàn dìng de qù xíng ； tā men suǒ zhǐ shì nǐ de pàn yǔ ， nǐ bù kě piān lí zuǒ yòu 。

According to the decisions of the law which they shall teach you, and according to the judgment which they shall tell you, you shall do. You shall not turn away from the sentence which they announce to you, to the right hand, nor to the left.

若有人擅敢不聽從那侍立在耶和華－你上帝面前的祭司，或不聽從審判官，那人就必治死；這樣，便將那惡從以色列中除掉。

ruò yǒu rén shàn gǎn bù tīng cóng nà shì lì zài yē hé huá — nǐ shén miàn qián de jì sī ， huò bù tīng cóng shěn pàn guān ， nà rén jiù bì zhì sǐ ； zhè yàng ， biàn jiāng nà è cóng yǐ sè liè zhōng chú diào 。

The man who does presumptuously in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before the LORD your God, or to the judge, even that man shall die. You shall put away the evil from Israel.

眾百姓都要聽見害怕，不再擅敢行事。」

zhòng bǎi xìng dōu yào tīng jiàn hài pà ， bú zài shàn gǎn xíng shì 。」

All the people shall hear and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

「到了耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地，得了那地居住的時候，若說：『我要立王治理我，像四圍的國一樣。』

「 dào le yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ cì nǐ de dì ， dé le nà dì jū zhù de shí hòu ， ruò shuō ：『 wǒ yào lì wáng zhì lǐ wǒ ， xiàng sì wéi de guó yí yàng 。』

When you have come to the land which the LORD your God gives you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, “I will set a king over me, like all the nations that are around me,”

你總要立耶和華－你上帝所揀選的人為王。必從你弟兄中立一人；不可立你弟兄以外的人為王。

nǐ zǒng yào lì yē hé huá — nǐ shén suǒ jiǎn xuǎn de rén wéi wáng 。 bì cóng nǐ dì xiong zhōng lì yì rén ； bù kě lì nǐ dì xiong yǐ wài de rén wéi wáng 。

you shall surely set him whom the LORD your God chooses as king over yourselves. You shall set as king over you one from among your brothers. You may not put a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

只是王不可為自己加添馬匹，也不可使百姓回埃及去，為要加添他的馬匹，因耶和華曾吩咐你們說：『不可再回那條路去。』

zhǐ shì wáng bù kě wèi zì jǐ jiā tiān mǎ pǐ ， yě bù kě shǐ bǎi xìng huí āi jí qù ， wèi yào jiā tiān tā de mǎ pǐ ， yīn yē hé huá céng fēn fù nǐ men shuō ：『 bù kě zài huí nà tiáo lù qù 。』

Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; because the LORD has said to you, “You shall not go back that way again.”

他也不可為自己多立妃嬪，恐怕他的心偏邪；也不可為自己多積金銀。

tā yě bù kě wèi zì jǐ duō lì fēi pín ， kǒng pà tā de xīn piān xié ； yě bù kě wèi zì jǐ duō jī jīn yín 。

He shall not multiply wives to himself, that his heart not turn away. He shall not greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

他登了國位，就要將祭司利未人面前的這律法書，為自己抄錄一本，

tā dēng le guó wèi ， jiù yào jiāng jì sī lì wèi rén miàn qián de zhè lǜ fǎ shū ， wèi zì jǐ chāo lù yì běn ，

It shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write himself a copy of this law in a book, out of that which is before the Levitical priests.

存在他那裏，要平生誦讀，好學習敬畏耶和華－他的上帝，謹守遵行這律法書上的一切言語和這些律例，

cún zài tā nà lǐ ， yào píng shēng sòng dú ， hào xué xí jìng wèi yē hé huá — tā de shén ， jǐn shǒu zūn xíng zhè lǜ fǎ shū shàng de yí qiè yán yǔ hé zhè xiē lǜ lì ，

It shall be with him, and he shall read from it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them;

免得他向弟兄心高氣傲，偏左偏右，離了這誡命。這樣，他和他的子孫便可在以色列中，在國位上年長日久。」

miǎn de tā xiàng dì xiong xīn gāo qì ào ， piān zuǒ piān yòu ， lí le zhè jiè mìng 。 zhè yàng ， tā hé tā de zǐ sūn biàn kě zài yǐ sè liè zhōng ， zài guó wèi shàng nián zhǎng rì jiǔ 。」

that his heart not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he not turn away from the commandment to the right hand, or to the left, to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, in the middle of Israel.
