以弗所書 2

你們死在過犯罪惡之中，他叫你們活過來。

nǐ men sǐ zài guò fàn zuì è zhī zhōng ， tā jiào nǐ men huó guò lái 。

You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins,

那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。

nà shí ， nǐ men zài qí zhōng háng shì wèi rén ， suí cóng jīn shì de fēng sú ， shùn fú kōng zhōng zhǎng quán zhě de shǒu lǐng ， jiù shì xiàn jīn zài bèi nì zhī zǐ xīn zhōng yùn xíng de xié líng 。

in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience.

我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨着肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。

wǒ men cóng qián yě dōu zài tā men zhōng jiān ， fàng zòng ròu tǐ de sī yù ， suí zhe ròu tǐ hé xīn zhōng suǒ xǐ hào de qù xíng ， běn wèi kě nù zhī zǐ ， hé bié rén yí yàng 。

We also all once lived among them in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

然而，上帝既有豐富的憐憫，因他愛我們的大愛，

rán ér ， shén jì yǒu fēng fù de lián mǐn ， yīn tā ài wǒ men de dà ài ，

But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

當我們死在過犯中的時候，便叫我們與基督一同活過來。你們得救是本乎恩。

dāng wǒ men sǐ zài guò fàn zhōng de shí hòu ， biàn jiào wǒ men yǔ jī dū yì tóng huó guò lái 。 nǐ men dé jiù shì běn hū ēn 。

even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—

他又叫我們與基督耶穌一同復活，一同坐在天上，

tā yòu jiào wǒ men yǔ jī dū yē sū yì tóng fù huó ， yì tóng zuò zài tiān shàng ，

and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

要將他極豐富的恩典，就是他在基督耶穌裏向我們所施的恩慈，顯明給後來的世代看。

yào jiāng tā jí fēng fù de ēn diǎn ， jiù shì tā zài jī dū yē sū lǐ xiàng wǒ men suǒ shī de ēn cí ， xiǎn míng gěi hòu lái de shì dài kàn 。

that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;

你們得救是本乎恩，也因着信；這並不是出於自己，乃是上帝所賜的；

nǐ men dé jiù shì běn hū ēn ， yě yīn zhe xìn ； zhè bìng bú shì chū yú zì jǐ ， nǎi shì shén suǒ cì de ；

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。

yě bú shì chū yú xíng wéi ， miǎn de yǒu rén zì kuā 。

not of works, that no one would boast.

我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裏造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是上帝所預備叫我們行的。

wǒ men yuán shì tā de gōng zuò ， zài jī dū yē sū lǐ zào chéng de ， wèi yào jiào wǒ men xíng shàn ， jiù shì shén suǒ yù bèi jiào wǒ men xíng de 。

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

所以你們應當記念：你們從前按肉體是外邦人，是稱為沒受割禮的；這名原是那些憑人手在肉身上稱為受割禮之人所起的。

suǒ yǐ nǐ men yìng dāng jì niàn ： nǐ men cóng qián àn ròu tǐ shì wài bāng rén ， shì chēng wéi méi shòu gē lǐ de ； zhè míng yuán shì nà xiē píng rén shǒu zài ròu shēn shàng chēng wéi shòu gē lǐ zhī rén suǒ qǐ de 。

Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision” (in the flesh, made by hands),

那時，你們與基督無關，在以色列國民以外，在所應許的諸約上是局外人，並且活在世上沒有指望，沒有上帝。

nà shí ， nǐ men yǔ jī dū wú guān ， zài yǐ sè liè guó mín yǐ wài ， zài suǒ yīng xǔ de zhū yuē shàng shì jú wài rén ， bìng qiě huó zài shì shàng méi yǒu zhǐ wàng ， méi yǒu shén 。

that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

你們從前遠離上帝的人，如今卻在基督耶穌裏，靠着他的血，已經得親近了。

nǐ men cóng qián yuǎn lí shén de rén ， rú jīn què zài jī dū yē sū lǐ ， kào zhe tā de xuè ， yǐ jīng dé qīn jìn le 。

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.

因他使我們和睦 ，將兩下合而為一，拆毀了中間隔斷的牆；

yīn tā shǐ wǒ men hé mù ， jiāng liǎng xià hé ér wéi yī ， chāi huǐ le zhōng jiàn gé duàn de qiáng ；

For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation,

而且以自己的身體廢掉冤仇，就是那記在律法上的規條，為要將兩下藉着自己造成一個新人，如此便成就了和睦。

ér qiě yǐ zì jǐ de shēn tǐ fèi diào yuān chóu ， jiù shì nà jì zài lǜ fǎ shàng de guī tiáo ， wèi yào jiāng liǎng xià jiè zhe zì jǐ zào chéng yí gè xīn rén ， rú cǐ biàn chéng jiù le hé mù 。

having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace,

既在十字架上滅了冤仇，便藉這十字架使兩下歸為一體，與上帝和好了，

jì zài shí zì jià shàng miè le yuān chóu ， biàn jiè zhè shí zì jià shǐ liǎng xià guī wèi yì tǐ ， yǔ shén hé hǎo le ，

and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.

並且來傳和平的福音給你們遠處的人，也給那近處的人。

bìng qiě lái chuán hé píng de fú yīn gěi nǐ men yuǎn chù de rén ， yě gěi nà jìn chù de rén 。

He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.

因為我們兩下藉着他被一個聖靈所感，得以進到父面前。

yīn wèi wǒ men liǎng xià jiè zhe tā bèi yí gè shèng líng suǒ gǎn ， dé yǐ jìn dào fù miàn qián 。

For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

這樣，你們不再作外人和客旅，是與聖徒同國，是上帝家裏的人了；

zhè yàng ， nǐ men bú zài zuò wài rén hé kè lǚ ， shì yǔ shèng tú tóng guó ， shì shén jiā lǐ de rén le ；

So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,

並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶穌自己為房角石，

bìng qiě bèi jiàn zào zài shǐ tú hé xiān zhī de gēn jī shàng ， yǒu jī dū yē sū zì jǐ wèi fáng jiǎo shí ，

being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;

各 房靠他聯絡得合式，漸漸成為主的聖殿。

gè fáng kào tā lián luò dé hé shì ， jiàn jiàn chéng wéi zhǔ de shèng diàn 。

in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;

你們也靠他同被建造，成為上帝藉着聖靈居住的所在。

nǐ men yě kào tā tóng bèi jiàn zào ， chéng wéi shén jiè zhe shèng líng jū zhù de suǒ zài 。

in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
