出埃及記 17

以色列全會眾都遵耶和華的吩咐，按着站口從汛的曠野往前行，在利非訂安營。百姓沒有水喝，

yǐ sè liè quán huì zhòng dōu zūn yē hé huá de fēn fù ， àn zhe zhàn kǒu cóng xùn de kuàng yě wǎng qián xíng ， zài lì fēi dìng ān yíng 。 bǎi xìng méi yǒu shuǐ hē ，

All the congregation of the children of Israel traveled from the wilderness of Sin, starting according to the LORD’s commandment, and encamped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.

所以與摩西爭鬧，說：「給我們水喝吧！」摩西對他們說：「你們為甚麼與我爭鬧？為甚麼試探耶和華呢？」

suǒ yǐ yǔ mó xī zhēng nào ， shuō ：「 gěi wǒ men shuǐ hē ba ！」 mó xī duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men wèi shén me yǔ wǒ zhēng nào ？ wèi shén me shì tàn yē hé huá ne ？」

Therefore the people quarreled with Moses, and said, “Give us water to drink.” Moses said to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD?”

百姓在那裏甚渴，要喝水，就向摩西發怨言，說：「你為甚麼將我們從埃及領出來，使我們和我們的兒女並牲畜都渴死呢？」

bǎi xìng zài nà lǐ shèn kě ， yào hē shuǐ ， jiù xiàng mó xī fā yuàn yán ， shuō ：「 nǐ wèi shén me jiāng wǒ men cóng āi jí lǐng chū lái ， shǐ wǒ men hé wǒ men de ér nǚ bìng shēng chù dōu kě sǐ ne ？」

The people were thirsty for water there; so the people murmured against Moses, and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?”

摩西就呼求耶和華說：「我向這百姓怎樣行呢？他們幾乎要拿石頭打死我。」

mó xī jiù hū qiú yē hé huá shuō ：「 wǒ xiàng zhè bǎi xìng zěn yàng xíng ne ？ tā men jī hū yào ná shí tou dǎ sǐ wǒ 。」

Moses cried to the LORD, saying, “What shall I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me.”

耶和華對摩西說：「你手裏拿着你先前擊打河水的杖，帶領以色列的幾個長老，從百姓面前走過去。

yē hé huá duì mó xī shuō ：「 nǐ shǒu lǐ ná zhe nǐ xiān qián jī dǎ hé shuǐ de zhàng ， dài lǐng yǐ sè liè de jǐ gè zhǎng lǎo ， cóng bǎi xìng miàn qián zǒu guò qù 。

The LORD said to Moses, “Walk on before the people, and take the elders of Israel with you, and take the rod in your hand with which you struck the Nile, and go.

我必在何烈的磐石那裏，站在你面前。你要擊打磐石，從磐石裏必有水流出來，使百姓可以喝。」摩西就在以色列的長老眼前這樣行了。

wǒ bì zài hé liè de pán shí nà lǐ ， zhàn zài nǐ miàn qián 。 nǐ yào jī dǎ pán shí ， cóng pán shí lǐ bì yǒu shuǐ liú chū lái ， shǐ bǎi xìng kě yǐ hē 。」 mó xī jiù zài yǐ sè liè de zhǎng lǎo yǎn qián zhè yàng xíng le 。

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

他給那地方起名叫瑪撒 ，又叫米利巴 ；因以色列人爭鬧，又因他們試探耶和華，說：「耶和華是在我們中間不是？」

tā gěi nà dì fāng qǐ míng jiào mǎ sā ， yòu jiào mǐ lì bā ； yīn yǐ sè liè rén zhēng nào ， yòu yīn tā men shì tàn yē hé huá ， shuō ：「 yē hé huá shì zài wǒ men zhōng jiān bú shì ？」

He called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because the children of Israel quarreled, and because they tested the LORD, saying, “Is the LORD among us, or not?”

那時，亞瑪力人來在利非訂，和以色列人爭戰。

nà shí ， yà mǎ lì rén lái zài lì fēi dìng ， hé yǐ sè liè rén zhēng zhàn 。

Then Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

摩西對約書亞說：「你為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力人爭戰。明天我手裏要拿着上帝的杖，站在山頂上。」

mó xī duì yuē shū yà shuō ：「 nǐ wèi wǒ men xuǎn chū rén lái ， chū qù hé yà mǎ lì rén zhēng zhàn 。 míng tiān wǒ shǒu lǐ yào ná zhe shén de zhàng ， zhàn zài shān dǐng shàng 。」

Moses said to Joshua, “Choose men for us, and go out to fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with God’s rod in my hand.”

於是約書亞照着摩西對他所說的話行，和亞瑪力人爭戰。摩西、亞倫，與戶珥都上了山頂。

yú shì yuē shū yà zhào zhe mó xī duì tā suǒ shuō de huà xíng ， hé yà mǎ lì rén zhēng zhàn 。 mó xī 、 yà lún ， yǔ hù ěr dōu shàng le shān dǐng 。

So Joshua did as Moses had told him, and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

摩西何時舉手，以色列人就得勝，何時垂手，亞瑪力人就得勝。

mó xī hé shí jǔ shǒu ， yǐ sè liè rén jiù dé shèng ， hé shí chuí shǒu ， yà mǎ lì rén jiù dé shèng 。

When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed. When he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

但摩西的手發沉，他們就搬石頭來，放在他以下，他就坐在上面。亞倫與戶珥扶着他的手，一個在這邊，一個在那邊，他的手就穩住，直到日落的時候。

dàn mó xī de shǒu fā chén ， tā men jiù bān shí tou lái ， fàng zài tā yǐ xià ， tā jiù zuò zài shàng miàn 。 yà lún yǔ hù ěr fú zhe tā de shǒu ， yí gè zài zhè biān ， yí gè zài nà biān ， tā de shǒu jiù wěn zhù ， zhí dào rì luò de shí hòu 。

But Moses’ hands were heavy; so they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side. His hands were steady until sunset.

約書亞用刀殺了亞瑪力王和他的百姓。

yuē shū yà yòng dāo shā le yà mǎ lì wáng hé tā de bǎi xìng 。

Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

耶和華對摩西說：「我要將亞瑪力的名號從天下全然塗抹了；你要將這話寫在書上作紀念，又念給約書亞聽。」

yē hé huá duì mó xī shuō ：「 wǒ yào jiāng yà mǎ lì de míng hào cóng tiān xià quán rán tú mǒ le ； nǐ yào jiāng zhè huà xiě zài shū shàng zuò jì niàn ， yòu niàn gěi yuē shū yà tīng 。」

The LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”

摩西築了一座壇，起名叫「耶和華尼西」 ，

mó xī zhù le yí zuò tán ， qǐ míng jiào 「 yē hé huá ní xī 」 ，

Moses built an altar, and called its name “The LORD our Banner”.

又說：「耶和華已經起了誓，必世世代代和亞瑪力人爭戰。」

yòu shuō ：「 yē hé huá yǐ jīng qǐ le shì ， bì shì shì dài dài hé yà mǎ lì rén zhēng zhàn 。」

He said, “The LORD has sworn: ‘The LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.’”
