以斯拉記 3

到了七月，以色列人住在各城；那時他們如同一人，聚集在耶路撒冷。

dào le qī yuè ， yǐ sè liè rén zhù zài gè chéng ； nà shí tā men rú tóng yì rén ， jù jí zài yē lù sā lěng 。

When the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.

約薩達兒子耶書亞和他的弟兄眾祭司，並撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯與他的弟兄，都起來建築以色列上帝的壇，要照神人摩西律法書上所寫的，在壇上獻燔祭。

yuē sà dá de ér zi yē shū yà hé tā de dì xiong zhòng jì sī ， bìng sā lā tiě de ér zi suǒ luó bā bó yǔ tā de dì xiong ， dōu qǐ lái jiàn zhù yǐ sè liè shén de tán ， yào zhào shén rén mó xī lǜ fǎ shū shàng suǒ xiě de ， zài tán shàng xiàn fán jì 。

Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak stood up with his brothers the priests and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his relatives, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

他們在原有的根基上築壇，因懼怕鄰國的民，又在其上向耶和華早晚獻燔祭，

tā men zài yuán yǒu de gēn jī shàng zhù tán ， yīn jù pà lín guó de mín ， yòu zài qí shàng xiàng yē hé huá zǎo wǎn xiàn fán jì ，

In spite of their fear because of the peoples of the surrounding lands, they set the altar on its base; and they offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening.

又照律法書上所寫的守住棚節，按數照例獻每日所當獻的燔祭；

yòu zhào lǜ fǎ shū shàng suǒ xiě de shǒu zhù péng jié ， àn shù zhào lì xiàn měi rì suǒ dāng xiàn de fán jì ；

They kept the feast of booths, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;

其後獻常獻的燔祭，並在月朔與耶和華的一切聖節獻祭，又向耶和華獻各人的甘心祭。

qí hòu xiàn cháng xiàn de fán jì ， bìng zài yuè shuò yǔ yē hé huá de yí qiè shèng jié xiàn jì ， yòu xiàng yē hé huá xiàn gè rén de gān xīn jì 。

and afterward the continual burnt offering, the offerings of the new moons, of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of everyone who willingly offered a free will offering to the LORD.

從七月初一日起，他們就向耶和華獻燔祭。但耶和華殿的根基尚未立定。

cóng qī yuè chū yī rì qǐ ， tā men jiù xiàng yē hé huá xiàn fán jì 。 dàn yē hé huá diàn de gēn jī shàng wèi lì dìng 。

From the first day of the seventh month, they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD; but the foundation of the LORD’s temple was not yet laid.

他們又將銀子給石匠、木匠，把糧食、酒、油給西頓人、泰爾人，使他們將香柏樹從黎巴嫩運到海裏，浮海運到約帕，是照波斯王塞魯士所允准的。

tā men yòu jiāng yín zi gěi shí jiàng 、 mù jiàng ， bǎ liáng shí 、 jiǔ 、 yóu gěi xī dùn rén 、 tài ěr rén ， shǐ tā men jiāng xiāng bǎi shù cóng lí bā nèn yùn dào hǎi lǐ ， fú hǎi yùn dào yuē pà ， shì zhào bō sī wáng sāi lǔ shì suǒ yǔn zhǔn de 。

They also gave money to the masons and to the carpenters. They also gave food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the grant that they had from Cyrus King of Persia.

百姓到了耶路撒冷上帝殿的地方。第二年二月，撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯，約薩達的兒子耶書亞和其餘的弟兄，就是祭司、利未人，並一切被擄歸回耶路撒冷的人，都興工建造；又派利未人，從二十歲以外的，督理建造耶和華殿的工作。

bǎi xìng dào le yē lù sā lěng shén diàn de dì fāng 。 dì èr nián èr yuè ， sā lā tiě de ér zi suǒ luó bā bó ， yuē sà dá de ér zi yē shū yà hé qí yú de dì xiong ， jiù shì jì sī 、 lì wèi rén ， bìng yí qiè bèi lǔ guī huí yē lù sā lěng de rén ， dōu xīng gōng jiàn zào ； yòu pài lì wèi rén ， cóng èr shí suì yǐ wài de ， dū lǐ jiàn zào yē hé huá diàn de gōng zuò 。

Now in the second year of their coming to God’s house at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brothers the priests and the Levites, and all those who had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, began the work and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to have the oversight of the work of the LORD’s house.

於是猶大 的後裔，就是耶書亞和他的子孫與弟兄，甲篾和他的子孫，利未人希拿達的子孫與弟兄，都一同起來，督理那在上帝殿做工的人。

yú shì yóu dà de hòu yì ， jiù shì yē shū yà hé tā de zǐ sūn yǔ dì xiong ， jiǎ miè hé tā de zǐ sūn ， lì wèi rén xī ná dá de zǐ sūn yǔ dì xiong ， dōu yì tóng qǐ lái ， dū lǐ nà zài shén diàn zuò gōng de rén 。

Then Jeshua stood with his sons and his brothers, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together to have the oversight of the workmen in God’s house: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brothers the Levites.

匠人立耶和華殿根基的時候，祭司皆穿禮服吹號，亞薩的子孫利未人敲鈸，照以色列王大衛所定的例，都站着讚美耶和華。

jiàng rén lì yē hé huá diàn gēn jī de shí hòu ， jì sī jiē chuān lǐ fú chuī hào ， yà sà de zǐ sūn lì wèi rén qiāo bó ， zhào yǐ sè liè wáng dà wèi suǒ dìng de lì ， dōu zhàn zhe zàn měi yē hé huá 。

When the builders laid the foundation of the LORD’s temple, they set the priests in their vestments with trumpets, with the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the directions of David king of Israel.

他們彼此唱和，讚美稱謝耶和華說： 他本為善， 他向以色列人永發慈愛。 他們讚美耶和華的時候，眾民大聲呼喊，因耶和華殿的根基已經立定。

tā men bǐ cǐ chàng hè ， zàn měi chēng xiè yē hé huá shuō ： tā běn wèi shàn ， tā xiàng yǐ sè liè rén yǒng fā cí ài 。 tā men zàn měi yē hé huá de shí hòu ， zhòng mín dà shēng hū hǎn ， yīn yē hé huá diàn de gēn jī yǐ jīng lì dìng 。

They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to the LORD, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.

然而有許多祭司、利未人、族長，就是見過舊殿的老年人，現在親眼看見立這殿的根基，便大聲哭號，也有許多人大聲歡呼，

rán ér yǒu xǔ duō jì sī 、 lì wèi rén 、 zú zhǎng ， jiù shì jiàn guò jiù diàn de lǎo nián rén ， xiàn zài qīn yǎn kàn jiàn lì zhè diàn de gēn jī ， biàn dà shēng kū hào ， yě yǒu xǔ duō rén dà shēng huān hū ，

But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ households, the old men who had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice. Many also shouted aloud for joy,

甚至百姓不能分辨歡呼的聲音和哭號的聲音；因為眾人大聲呼喊，聲音聽到遠處。

shèn zhì bǎi xìng bù néng fēn biàn huān hū de shēng yīn hé kū hào de shēng yīn ； yīn wèi zhòng rén dà shēng hū hǎn ， shēng yīn tīng dào yuǎn chù 。

so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far away.
