亞伯蘭年九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：「我是全能的上帝。你當在我面前作完全人，

yà bó lán nián jiǔ shí jiǔ suì de shí hòu ， yē hé huá xiàng tā xiǎn xiàn ， duì tā shuō ：「 wǒ shì quán néng de shén 。 nǐ dāng zài wǒ miàn qián zuò wán quán rén ，

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.

我就與你立約，使你的後裔極其繁多。」

wǒ jiù yǔ nǐ lì yuē ， shǐ nǐ de hòu yì jí qí fán duō 。」

I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”

亞伯蘭俯伏在地；上帝又對他說：

yà bó lán fǔ fú zài dì ； shén yòu duì tā shuō ：

Abram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying,

「我與你立約：你要作多國的父。

「 wǒ yǔ nǐ lì yuē ： nǐ yào zuò duō guó de fù 。

“As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.

從此以後，你的名不再叫亞伯蘭，要叫亞伯拉罕，因為我已立你作多國的父。

cóng cǐ yǐ hòu ， nǐ de míng bú zài jiào yà bó lán ， yào jiào yà bó lā hǎn ， yīn wèi wǒ yǐ lì nǐ zuò duō guó de fù 。

Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.

我必使你的後裔極其繁多；國度從你而立，君王從你而出。

wǒ bì shǐ nǐ de hòu yì jí qí fán duō ； guó dù cóng nǐ ér lì ， jūn wáng cóng nǐ ér chū 。

I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you. Kings will come out of you.

我要與你並你世世代代的後裔堅立我的約，作永遠的約，是要作你和你後裔的上帝。

wǒ yào yǔ nǐ bìng nǐ shì shì dài dài de hòu yì jiān lì wǒ de yuē ， zuò yǒng yuǎn de yuē ， shì yào zuò nǐ hé nǐ hòu yì de shén 。

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.

我要將你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔永遠為業，我也必作他們的上帝。」

wǒ yào jiāng nǐ xiàn zài jì jū de dì ， jiù shì jiā nán quán dì ， cì gěi nǐ hé nǐ de hòu yì yǒng yuǎn wèi yè ， wǒ yě bì zuò tā men de shén 。」

I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God.”

上帝又對亞伯拉罕說：「你和你的後裔必世世代代遵守我的約。

shén yòu duì yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 nǐ hé nǐ de hòu yì bì shì shì dài dài zūn shǒu wǒ de yuē 。

God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations.

你們所有的男子都要受割禮；這就是我與你並你的後裔所立的約，是你們所當遵守的。

nǐ men suǒ yǒu de nán zǐ dōu yào shòu gē lǐ ； zhè jiù shì wǒ yǔ nǐ bìng nǐ de hòu yì suǒ lì de yuē ， shì nǐ men suǒ dāng zūn shǒu de 。

This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you. Every male among you shall be circumcised.

你們都要受割禮 ；這是我與你們立約的證據。

nǐ men dōu yào shòu gē lǐ ； zhè shì wǒ yǔ nǐ men lì yuē de zhèng jù 。

You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin. It will be a token of the covenant between me and you.

你們世世代代的男子，無論是家裏生的，是在你後裔之外用銀子從外人買的，生下來第八日，都要受割禮。

nǐ men shì shì dài dài de nán zǐ ， wú lùn shì jiā lǐ shēng de ， shì zài nǐ hòu yì zhī wài yòng yín zi cóng wài rén mǎi de ， shēng xià lái dì bā rì ， dōu yào shòu gē lǐ 。

He who is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he who is born in the house, or bought with money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring.

你家裏生的和你用銀子買的，都必須受割禮。這樣，我的約就立在你們肉體上作永遠的約。

nǐ jiā lǐ shēng de hé nǐ yòng yín zi mǎi de ， dōu bì xū shòu gē lǐ 。 zhè yàng ， wǒ de yuē jiù lì zài nǐ men ròu tǐ shàng zuò yǒng yuǎn de yuē 。

He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your money, must be circumcised. My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

但不受割禮的男子必從民中剪除，因他背了我的約。」

dàn bú shòu gē lǐ de nán zǐ bì cóng mín zhōng jiǎn chú ， yīn tā bèi le wǒ de yuē 。」

The uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people. He has broken my covenant.”

上帝又對亞伯拉罕說：「你的妻子撒萊不可再叫撒萊，她的名要叫撒拉。

shén yòu duì yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 nǐ de qī zǐ sā lái bù kě zài jiào sā lái ， tā de míng yào jiào sā lā 。

God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name shall be Sarah.

我必賜福給她，也要使你從她得一個兒子。我要賜福給她，她也要作多國之母；必有百姓的君王從她而出。」

wǒ bì cì fú gěi tā ， yě yào shǐ nǐ cóng tā dé yí gè ér zi 。 wǒ yào cì fú gěi tā ， tā yě yào zuò duō guó zhī mǔ ； bì yǒu bǎi xìng de jūn wáng cóng tā ér chū 。」

I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”

亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地喜笑，心裏說：「一百歲的人還能得孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生養嗎？」

yà bó lā hǎn jiù fǔ fú zài dì xǐ xiào ， xīn lǐ shuō ：「 yì bǎi suì de rén hái néng dé hái zi ma ？ sā lā yǐ jīng jiǔ shí suì le ， hái néng shēng yǎng ma ？」

Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”

亞伯拉罕對上帝說：「但願以實瑪利活在你面前。」

yà bó lā hǎn duì shén shuō ：「 dàn yuàn yǐ shí mǎ lì huó zài nǐ miàn qián 。」

Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!”

上帝說：「不然，你妻子撒拉要給你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅定所立的約，作他後裔永遠的約。

shén shuō ：「 bù rán ， nǐ qī zǐ sā lā yào gěi nǐ shēng yí gè ér zi ， nǐ yào gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yǐ sā 。 wǒ yào yǔ tā jiān dìng suǒ lì de yuē ， zuò tā hòu yì yǒng yuǎn de yuē 。

God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

至於以實瑪利，我也應允你：我必賜福給他，使他昌盛，極其繁多。他必生十二個族長；我也要使他成為大國。

zhì yú yǐ shí mǎ lì ， wǒ yě yīng yǔn nǐ ： wǒ bì cì fú gěi tā ， shǐ tā chāng shèng ， jí qí fán duō 。 tā bì shēng shí èr gè zú zhǎng ； wǒ yě yào shǐ tā chéng wéi dà guó 。

As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

到明年這時節，撒拉必給你生以撒，我要與他堅定所立的約。」

dào míng nián zhè shí jié ， sā lā bì gěi nǐ shēng yǐ sā ， wǒ yào yǔ tā jiān dìng suǒ lì de yuē 。」

But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”

上帝和亞伯拉罕說完了話，就離開他上升去了。

shén hé yà bó lā hǎn shuō wán le huà ， jiù lí kāi tā shàng shēng qù le 。

When he finished talking with him, God went up from Abraham.

正當那日，亞伯拉罕遵着上帝的命，給他的兒子以實瑪利和家裏的一切男子，無論是在家裏生的，是用銀子買的，都行了割禮。

zhèng dāng nà rì ， yà bó lā hǎn zūn zhe shén de mìng ， gěi tā de ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì hé jiā lǐ de yí qiè nán zǐ ， wú lùn shì zài jiā lǐ shēng de ， shì yòng yín zi mǎi de ， dōu xíng le gē lǐ 。

Abraham took Ishmael his son, all who were born in his house, and all who were bought with his money: every male among the men of Abraham’s house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the same day, as God had said to him.

亞伯拉罕受割禮的時候年九十九歲。

yà bó lā hǎn shòu gē lǐ de shí hòu nián jiǔ shí jiǔ suì 。

Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

他兒子以實瑪利受割禮的時候年十三歲。

tā ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì shòu gē lǐ de shí hòu nián shí sān suì 。

Ishmael, his son, was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

正當那日，亞伯拉罕和他兒子以實瑪利一同受了割禮。

zhèng dāng nà rì ， yà bó lā hǎn hé tā ér zi yǐ shí mǎ lì yì tóng shòu le gē lǐ 。

In the same day both Abraham and Ishmael, his son, were circumcised.

家裏所有的人，無論是在家裏生的，是用銀子從外人買的，也都一同受了割禮。

jiā lǐ suǒ yǒu de rén ， wú lùn shì zài jiā lǐ shēng de ， shì yòng yín zi cóng wài rén mǎi de ， yě dōu yì tóng shòu le gē lǐ 。

All the men of his house, those born in the house, and those bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.
