創世記 16

亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊不給他生兒女。撒萊有一個使女，名叫夏甲，是埃及人。

yà bó lán de qī zǐ sā lái bù gěi tā shēng ér nǚ 。 sā lái yǒu yí gè shǐ nǚ ， míng jiào xià jiǎ ， shì āi jí rén 。

Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「耶和華使我不能生育。求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因她得孩子 。」亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。

sā lái duì yà bó lán shuō ：「 yē hé huá shǐ wǒ bù néng shēng yù 。 qiú nǐ hé wǒ de shǐ nǚ tóng fáng ， huò zhě wǒ kě yǐ yīn tā dé hái zi 。」 yà bó lán tīng cóng le sā lái de huà 。

Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

於是亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊將使女埃及人夏甲給了丈夫為妾；那時亞伯蘭在迦南已經住了十年。

yú shì yà bó lán de qī zǐ sā lái jiāng shǐ nǚ āi jí rén xià jiǎ gěi le zhàng fu wèi qiè ； nà shí yà bó lán zài jiā nán yǐ jīng zhù le shí nián 。

Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to Abram her husband to be his wife.

亞伯蘭與夏甲同房，夏甲就懷了孕；她見自己有孕，就小看她的主母。

yà bó lán yǔ xià jiǎ tóng fáng ， xià jiǎ jiù huái le yùn ； tā jiàn zì jǐ yǒu yùn ， jiù xiǎo kàn tā de zhǔ mǔ 。

He went in to Hagar, and she conceived. When she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「我因你受屈。我將我的使女放在你懷中，她見自己有了孕，就小看我。願耶和華在你我中間判斷。」

sā lái duì yà bó lán shuō ：「 wǒ yīn nǐ shòu qū 。 wǒ jiāng wǒ de shǐ nǚ fàng zài nǐ huái zhōng ， tā jiàn zì jǐ yǒu le yùn ， jiù xiǎo kàn wǒ 。 yuàn yē hé huá zài nǐ wǒ zhōng jiān pàn duàn 。」

Sarai said to Abram, “This wrong is your fault. I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, she despised me. May the LORD judge between me and you.”

亞伯蘭對撒萊說：「使女在你手下，你可以隨意待她。」撒萊苦待她，她就從撒萊面前逃走了。

yà bó lán duì sā lái shuō ：「 shǐ nǚ zài nǐ shǒu xià ， nǐ kě yǐ suí yì dài tā 。」 sā lái kǔ dài tā ， tā jiù cóng sā lái miàn qián táo zǒu le 。

But Abram said to Sarai, “Behold, your maid is in your hand. Do to her whatever is good in your eyes.” Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her face.

耶和華的使者在曠野書珥路上的水泉旁遇見她，

yē hé huá de shǐ zhě zài kuàng yě shū ěr lù shang de shuǐ quán páng yù jiàn tā ，

The LORD’s angel found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.

對她說：「撒萊的使女夏甲，你從哪裏來？要往哪裏去？」夏甲說：「我從我的主母撒萊面前逃出來。」

duì tā shuō ：「 sā lái de shǐ nǚ xià jiǎ ， nǐ cóng nǎ lǐ lái ？ yào wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ？」 xià jiǎ shuō ：「 wǒ cóng wǒ de zhǔ mǔ sā lái miàn qián táo chū lái 。」

He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s servant, where did you come from? Where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the face of my mistress Sarai.”

耶和華的使者對她說：「你回到你主母那裏，服在她手下」；

yē hé huá de shǐ zhě duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ huí dào nǐ zhǔ mǔ nà lǐ ， fú zài tā shǒu xià 」；

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”

又說：「我必使你的後裔極其繁多，甚至不可勝數」；

yòu shuō ：「 wǒ bì shǐ nǐ de hòu yì jí qí fán duō ， shèn zhì bù kě shèng shǔ 」；

The LORD’s angel said to her, “I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”

並說：「你如今懷孕要生一個兒子，可以給他起名叫以實瑪利 ，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。

bìng shuō ：「 nǐ rú jīn huái yùn yào shēng yí gè ér zi ， kě yǐ gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yǐ shí mǎ lì ， yīn wèi yē hé huá tīng jiàn le nǐ de kǔ qíng 。

The LORD’s angel said to her, “Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction.

他為人必像野驢。他的手要攻打人，人的手也要攻打他；他必住在眾弟兄的東邊。」

tā wèi rén bì xiàng yě lǘ 。 tā de shǒu yào gōng dǎ rén ， rén de shǒu yě yào gōng dǎ tā ； tā bì zhù zài zhòng dì xiong de dōng biān 。」

He will be like a wild donkey among men. His hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. He will live opposed to all of his brothers.”

夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「看顧人的上帝」。因而說：「在這裏我也看見那看顧我的嗎？」

xià jiǎ jiù chēng nà duì tā shuō huà de yē hé huá wèi 「 kàn gù rén de shén 」。 yīn ér shuō ：「 zài zhè lǐ wǒ yě kàn jiàn nà kàn gù wǒ de ma ？」

She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees,” for she said, “Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

所以這井名叫庇耳‧拉海‧萊。這井正在加低斯和巴列中間。

suǒ yǐ zhè jǐng míng jiào bì ěr · lā hǎi · lái 。 zhè jǐng zhèng zài jiā dī sī hé bā liè zhōng jiān 。

Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi. Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

後來夏甲給亞伯蘭生了一個兒子；亞伯蘭給他起名叫以實瑪利。

hòu lái xià jiǎ gěi yà bó lán shēng le yí gè ér zi ； yà bó lán gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yǐ shí mǎ lì 。

Hagar bore a son for Abram. Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.

夏甲給亞伯蘭生以實瑪利的時候，亞伯蘭年八十六歲。

xià jiǎ gěi yà bó lán shēng yǐ shí mǎ lì de shí hòu ， yà bó lán nián bā shí liù suì 。

Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
