創世記 21

耶和華按着先前的話眷顧撒拉，便照他所說的給撒拉成就。

yē hé huá àn zhe xiān qián de huà juàn gù sā lā ， biàn zhào tā suǒ shuō de gěi sā lā chéng jiù 。

The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had spoken.

當亞伯拉罕年老的時候，撒拉懷了孕；到上帝所說的日期，就給亞伯拉罕生了一個兒子。

dāng yà bó lā hǎn nián lǎo de shí hòu ， sā lā huái le yùn ； dào shén suǒ shuō de rì qī ， jiù gěi yà bó lā hǎn shēng le yí gè ér zi 。

Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

亞伯拉罕給撒拉所生的兒子起名叫以撒。

yà bó lā hǎn gěi sā lā suǒ shēng de ér zi qǐ míng jiào yǐ sā 。

Abraham called his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.

以撒生下來第八日，亞伯拉罕照着上帝所吩咐的，給以撒行了割禮。

yǐ sā shēng xià lái dì bā rì ， yà bó lā hǎn zhào zhe shén suǒ fēn fù de ， gěi yǐ sā xíng le gē lǐ 。

Abraham circumcised his son, Isaac, when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.

他兒子以撒生的時候，亞伯拉罕年一百歲。

tā ér zi yǐ sā shēng de shí hòu ， yà bó lā hǎn nián yì bǎi suì 。

Abraham was one hundred years old when his son, Isaac, was born to him.

撒拉說：「上帝使我喜笑，凡聽見的必與我一同喜笑」；

sā lā shuō ：「 shén shǐ wǒ xǐ xiào ， fán tīng jiàn de bì yǔ wǒ yì tóng xǐ xiào 」；

Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.”

又說：「誰能預先對亞伯拉罕說『撒拉要乳養嬰孩』呢？因為在他年老的時候，我給他生了一個兒子。」

yòu shuō ：「 shuí néng yù xiān duì yà bó lā hǎn shuō 『 sā lā yào rǔ yǎng yīng hái 』 ne ？ yīn wèi zài tā nián lǎo de shí hòu ， wǒ gěi tā shēng le yí gè ér zi 。」

She said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

孩子漸長，就斷了奶。以撒斷奶的日子，亞伯拉罕設擺豐盛的筵席。

hái zi jiàn cháng ， jiù duàn le nǎi 。 yǐ sā duàn nǎi de rì zi ， yà bó lā hǎn shè bǎi fēng shèng de yán xí 。

The child grew and was weaned. Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned.

當時，撒拉看見埃及人夏甲給亞伯拉罕所生的兒子戲笑，

dāng shí ， sā lā kàn jiàn āi jí rén xià jiǎ gěi yà bó lā hǎn suǒ shēng de ér zi xì xiào ，

Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking.

就對亞伯拉罕說：「你把這使女和她兒子趕出去！因為這使女的兒子不可與我的兒子以撒一同承受產業。」

jiù duì yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 nǐ bǎ zhè shǐ nǚ hé tā ér zi gǎn chū qù ！ yīn wèi zhè shǐ nǚ de ér zi bù kě yǔ wǒ de ér zi yǐ sā yì tóng chéng shòu chǎn yè 。」

Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac.”

亞伯拉罕因他兒子的緣故很憂愁。

yà bó lā hǎn yīn tā ér zi de yuán gù hěn yōu chóu 。

The thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight on account of his son.

上帝對亞伯拉罕說：「你不必為這童子和你的使女憂愁。凡撒拉對你說的話，你都該聽從；因為從以撒生的，才要稱為你的後裔。

shén duì yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 nǐ bú bì wèi zhè tóng zǐ hé nǐ de shǐ nǚ yōu chóu 。 fán sā lā duì nǐ shuō de huà ， nǐ dōu gāi tīng cóng ； yīn wèi cóng yǐ sā shēng de ， cái yào chēng wéi nǐ de hòu yì 。

God said to Abraham, “Don’t let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your servant. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For your offspring will be named through Isaac.

至於使女的兒子，我也必使他的後裔成立一國，因為他是你所生的。」

zhì yú shǐ nǚ de ér zǐ ， wǒ yě bì shǐ tā de hòu yì chéng lì yì guó ， yīn wèi tā shì nǐ suǒ shēng de 。」

I will also make a nation of the son of the servant, because he is your child.”

亞伯拉罕清早起來，拿餅和一皮袋水，給了夏甲，搭在她的肩上，又把孩子交給她，打發她走。夏甲就走了，在別是巴的曠野走迷了路。

yà bó lā hǎn qīng zǎo qǐ lái ， ná bǐng hé yì pí dài shuǐ ， gěi le xià jiǎ ， dā zài tā de jiān shàng ， yòu bǎ hái zi jiāo gěi tā ， dǎ fā tā zǒu 。 xià jiǎ jiù zǒu le ， zài bié shì bā de kuàng yě zǒu mí le lù 。

Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a container of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder; and gave her the child, and sent her away. She departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

皮袋的水用盡了，夏甲就把孩子撇在小樹底下，

pí dài de shuǐ yòng jìn le ， xià jiǎ jiù bǎ hái zi piě zài xiǎo shù dǐ xià ，

The water in the container was spent, and she put the child under one of the shrubs.

自己走開約有一箭之遠，相對而坐，說：「我不忍見孩子死」，就相對而坐，放聲大哭。

zì jǐ zǒu kāi yuē yǒu yí jiàn zhī yuǎn ， xiāng duì ér zuò ， shuō ：「 wǒ bù rěn jiàn hái zi sǐ 」， jiù xiāng duì ér zuò ， fàng shēng dà kū 。

She went and sat down opposite him, a good way off, about a bow shot away. For she said, “Don’t let me see the death of the child.” She sat opposite him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.

上帝聽見童子的聲音；上帝的使者從天上呼叫夏甲說：「夏甲，你為何這樣呢？不要害怕，上帝已經聽見童子的聲音了。

shén tīng jiàn tóng zǐ de shēng yīn ； shén de shǐ zhě cóng tiān shàng hū jiào xià jiǎ shuō ：「 xià jiǎ ， nǐ wèi hé zhè yàng ne ？ bú yào hài pà ， shén yǐ jīng tīng jiàn tóng zǐ de shēng yīn le 。

God heard the voice of the boy. The angel of God called to Hagar out of the sky, and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Don’t be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

起來！把童子抱在懷中 ，我必使他的後裔成為大國。」

qǐ lái ！ bǎ tóng zǐ bào zài huái zhōng ， wǒ bì shǐ tā de hòu yì chéng wéi dà guó 。」

Get up, lift up the boy, and hold him with your hand. For I will make him a great nation.”

上帝使夏甲的眼睛明亮，她就看見一口水井，便去將皮袋盛滿了水，給童子喝。

shén shǐ xià jiǎ de yǎn jīng míng liàng ， tā jiù kàn jiàn yì kǒu shuǐ jǐng ， biàn qù jiāng pí dài shèng mǎn le shuǐ ， gěi tóng zǐ hē 。

God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. She went, filled the container with water, and gave the boy a drink.

上帝保佑童子，他就漸長，住在曠野，成了弓箭手。

shén bǎo yòu tóng zǐ ， tā jiù jiàn cháng ， zhù zài kuàng yě ， chéng le gōng jiàn shǒu 。

God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and as he grew up, he became an archer.

他住在巴蘭的曠野；他母親從埃及地給他娶了一個妻子。

tā zhù zài bā lán de kuàng yě ； tā mǔ qīn cóng āi jí dì gěi tā qǔ le yí gè qī zǐ 。

He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother got a wife for him out of the land of Egypt.

當那時候，亞比米勒同他軍長非各對亞伯拉罕說：「凡你所行的事都有上帝的保佑。

dāng nà shí hòu ， yà bǐ mǐ lè tóng tā jūn cháng fēi gè duì yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 fán nǐ suǒ xíng de shì dōu yǒu shén de bǎo yòu 。

At that time, Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his army spoke to Abraham, saying, “God is with you in all that you do.

我願你如今在這裏指着上帝對我起誓，不要欺負我與我的兒子，並我的子孫。我怎樣厚待了你，你也要照樣厚待我與你所寄居這地的民。」

wǒ yuàn nǐ rú jīn zài zhè lǐ zhǐ zhe shén duì wǒ qǐ shì ， bú yào qī fù wǒ yǔ wǒ de ér zi ， bìng wǒ de zǐ sūn 。 wǒ zěn yàng hòu dài le nǐ ， nǐ yě yào zhào yàng hòu dài wǒ yǔ nǐ suǒ jì jū zhè dì de mín 。」

Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner.”

亞伯拉罕說：「我情願起誓。」

yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 wǒ qíng yuàn qǐ shì 。」

Abraham said, “I will swear.”

從前，亞比米勒的僕人霸佔了一口水井，亞伯拉罕為這事指責亞比米勒。

cóng qián ， yà bǐ mǐ lè de pú rén bà zhàn le yì kǒu shuǐ jǐng ， yà bó lā hǎn wèi zhè shì zhǐ zé yà bǐ mǐ lè 。

Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

亞比米勒說：「誰做這事，我不知道，你也沒有告訴我，今日我才聽見了。」

yà bǐ mǐ lè shuō ：「 shuí zuò zhè shì ， wǒ bù zhī dào ， nǐ yě méi yǒu gào sù wǒ ， jīn rì wǒ cái tīng jiàn le 。」

Abimelech said, “I don’t know who has done this thing. You didn’t tell me, and I didn’t hear of it until today.”

亞伯拉罕把羊和牛給了亞比米勒，二人就彼此立約。

yà bó lā hǎn bǎ yáng hé niú gěi le yà bǐ mǐ lè ， èr rén jiù bǐ cǐ lì yuē 。

Abraham took sheep and cattle, and gave them to Abimelech. Those two made a covenant.

亞伯拉罕把七隻母羊羔另放在一處。

yà bó lā hǎn bǎ qī zhī mǔ yáng gāo lìng fàng zài yí chù 。

Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

亞比米勒問亞伯拉罕說：「你把這七隻母羊羔另放在一處，是甚麼意思呢？」

yà bǐ mǐ lè wèn yà bó lā hǎn shuō ：「 nǐ bǎ zhè qī zhī mǔ yáng gāo lìng fàng zài yí chù ， shì shén me yì sī ne ？」

Abimelech said to Abraham, “What do these seven ewe lambs, which you have set by themselves, mean?”

他說：「你要從我手裏受這七隻母羊羔，作我挖這口井的證據。」

tā shuō ：「 nǐ yào cóng wǒ shǒu lǐ shòu zhè qī zhī mǔ yáng gāo ， zuò wǒ wā zhè kǒu jǐng de zhèng jù 。」

He said, “You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well.”

所以他給那地方起名叫別是巴 ，因為他們二人在那裏起了誓。

suǒ yǐ tā gěi nà dì fāng qǐ míng jiào bié shì bā ， yīn wèi tā men èr rén zài nà lǐ qǐ le shì 。

Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore an oath there.

他們在別是巴立了約，亞比米勒就同他軍長非各起身回非利士地去了。

tā men zài bié shì bā lì le yuē ， yà bǐ mǐ lè jiù tóng tā jūn zhǎng fēi gè qǐ shēn huí fēi lì shì dì qù le 。

So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the captain of his army, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

亞伯拉罕在別是巴栽上一棵垂絲柳樹，又在那裏求告耶和華－永生上帝的名。

yà bó lā hǎn zài bié shì bā zāi shàng yì kē chuí sī liǔ shù ， yòu zài nà lǐ qiú gào yē hé huá — yǒng shēng shén de míng 。

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God.

亞伯拉罕在非利士人的地寄居了多日。

yà bó lā hǎn zài fēi lì shì rén de dì jì jū le duō rì 。

Abraham lived as a foreigner in the land of the Philistines many days.
