亞伯拉罕又娶了一妻，名叫基土拉。
yà bó lā hǎn yòu qǔ le yì qī ， míng jiào jī tǔ lā 。
Abraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.
基土拉給他生了心蘭、約珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴，和書亞。
jī tǔ lā gěi tā shēng le xīn lán 、 yuē shān 、 mǐ dàn 、 mǐ diàn 、 yī shī bā ， hé shū yà 。
She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
約珊生了示巴和底但。底但的子孫是亞書利族、利都是族，和利烏米族。
yuē shān shēng le shì bā hé dǐ dàn 。 dǐ dàn de zǐ sūn shì yà shū lì zú 、 lì dōu shì zú ， hé lì wū mǐ zú 。
Jokshan became the father of Sheba, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim.
米甸的兒子是以法、以弗、哈諾、亞比大，和以勒大。這都是基土拉的子孫。
mǐ diàn de ér zi shì yǐ fǎ 、 yǐ fú 、 hā nuò 、 yà bǐ dà ， hé yǐ lè dà 。 zhè dōu shì jī tǔ lā de zǐ sūn 。
The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
亞伯拉罕將一切所有的都給了以撒。
yà bó lā hǎn jiāng yí qiè suǒ yǒu de dōu gěi le yǐ sā 。
Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac,
亞伯拉罕把財物分給他庶出的眾子，趁着自己還在世的時候打發他們離開他的兒子以撒，往東方去。
yà bó lā hǎn bǎ cái wù fēn gěi tā shù chū de zhòng zǐ ， chèn zhe zì jǐ hái zài shì de shí hòu dǎ fā tā men lí kāi tā de ér zi yǐ sā ， wǎng dōng fāng qù 。
but Abraham gave gifts to the sons of Abraham’s concubines. While he still lived, he sent them away from Isaac his son, eastward, to the east country.
亞伯拉罕一生的年日是一百七十五歲。
yà bó lā hǎn yì shēng de nián rì shì yì bǎi qī shí wǔ suì 。
These are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived: one hundred seventy-five years.
亞伯拉罕壽高年邁，氣絕而死，歸到他列祖 那裏。
yà bó lā hǎn shòu gāo nián mài ， qì jué ér sǐ ， guī dào tā liè zǔ nà lǐ 。
Abraham gave up his spirit, and died at a good old age, an old man, and full of years, and was gathered to his people.
他兩個兒子以撒、以實瑪利把他埋葬在麥比拉洞裏。這洞在幔利前、赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田中，
tā liǎng gè ér zi yǐ sā 、 yǐ shí mǎ lì bǎ tā mái zàng zài mài bǐ lā dòng lǐ 。 zhè dòng zài màn lì qián 、 hè rén suǒ xiá de ér zi yǐ fú de tián zhōng ，
Isaac and Ishmael, his sons, buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is near Mamre,
就是亞伯拉罕向赫人買的那塊田。亞伯拉罕和他妻子撒拉都葬在那裏。
jiù shì yà bó lā hǎn xiàng hè rén mǎi de nà kuài tián 。 yà bó lā hǎn hé tā qī zǐ sā lā dōu zàng zài nà lǐ 。
the field which Abraham purchased from the children of Heth. Abraham was buried there with Sarah, his wife.
亞伯拉罕死了以後，上帝賜福給他的兒子以撒。以撒靠近庇耳‧拉海‧萊居住。
yà bó lā hǎn sǐ le yǐ hòu ， shén cì fú gěi tā de ér zi yǐ sā 。 yǐ sā kào jìn bì ěr · lā hǎi · lái jū zhù 。
After the death of Abraham, God blessed Isaac, his son. Isaac lived by Beer Lahai Roi.
撒拉的使女埃及人夏甲給亞伯拉罕所生的兒子是以實瑪利。
sā lā de shǐ nǚ āi jí rén xià jiǎ gěi yà bó lā hǎn suǒ shēng de ér zi shì yǐ shí mǎ lì 。
Now this is the history of the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s servant, bore to Abraham.
以實瑪利兒子們的名字，按着他們的家譜記在下面。以實瑪利的長子是尼拜約，又有基達、亞德別、米比衫、
yǐ shí mǎ lì ér zi men de míng zì ， àn zhe tā men de jiā pǔ jì zài xià miàn 。 yǐ shí mǎ lì de zhǎng zǐ shì ní bài yuē ， yòu yǒu jī dá 、 yà dé bié 、 mǐ bǐ shān 、
These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to the order of their birth: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
哈大、提瑪、伊突、拿非施、基底瑪。
hā dà 、 tí mǎ 、 yī tū 、 ná fēi shī 、 jī dǐ mǎ 。
Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.
這是以實瑪利眾子的名字，照着他們的村莊、營寨，作了十二族的族長。
zhè shì yǐ shí mǎ lì zhòng zǐ de míng zì ， zhào zhe tā men de cūn zhuāng 、 yíng zhài ， zuò le shí èr zú de zú zhǎng 。
These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their villages, and by their encampments: twelve princes, according to their nations.
以實瑪利享壽一百三十七歲，氣絕而死，歸到他列祖 那裏。
yǐ shí mǎ lì xiǎng shòu yì bǎi sān shí qī suì ， qì jué ér sǐ ， guī dào tā liè zǔ nà lǐ 。
These are the years of the life of Ishmael: one hundred thirty-seven years. He gave up his spirit and died, and was gathered to his people.
他子孫的住處在他眾弟兄東邊，從哈腓拉直到埃及前的書珥，正在亞述的道上。
tā zǐ sūn de zhù chù zài tā zhòng dì xiōng dōng biān ， cóng hā féi lā zhí dào āi jí qián de shū ěr ， zhèng zài yà shù de dào shàng 。
They lived from Havilah to Shur that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria. He lived opposite all his relatives.

This is the history of the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son. Abraham became the father of Isaac.
以撒娶利百加為妻的時候正四十歲。利百加是巴旦‧亞蘭地的亞蘭人彼土利的女兒，是亞蘭人拉班的妹子。
yǐ sā qǔ lì bǎi jiā wèi qī de shí hòu zhèng sì shí suì 。 lì bǎi jiā shì bā dàn · yà lán dì de yà lán rén bǐ tǔ lì de nǚ ér ， shì yà lán rén lā bān de mèi zǐ 。
Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Paddan Aram, the sister of Laban the Syrian, to be his wife.
以撒因他妻子不生育，就為她祈求耶和華；耶和華應允他的祈求，他的妻子利百加就懷了孕。
yǐ sā yīn tā qī zǐ bù shēng yù ， jiù wèi tā qí qiú yē hé huá ； yē hé huá yīng yǔn tā de qí qiú ， tā de qī zǐ lì bǎi jiā jiù huái le yùn 。
Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren. The LORD was entreated by him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
孩子們在她腹中彼此相爭，她就說：「若是這樣，我為甚麼活着呢 ？」她就去求問耶和華。
hái zi men zài tā fù zhōng bǐ cǐ xiāng zhēng ， tā jiù shuō ：「 ruò shì zhè yàng ， wǒ wèi shén me huó zhe ne ？」 tā jiù qù qiú wèn yē hé huá 。
The children struggled together within her. She said, “If it is like this, why do I live?” She went to inquire of the LORD.
耶和華對她說： 兩國在你腹內； 兩族要從你身上出來。 這族必強於那族； 將來大的要服事小的。
yē hé huá duì tā shuō ： liǎng guó zài nǐ fù nèi ； liǎng zú yào cóng nǐ shēn shàng chū lái 。 zhè zú bì qiáng yú nà zú ； jiāng lái dà de yào fú shì xiǎo de 。
The LORD said to her, “Two nations are in your womb. Two peoples will be separated from your body. The one people will be stronger than the other people. The elder will serve the younger.”
生產的日子到了，腹中果然是雙子。
shēng chǎn de rì zi dào le ， fù zhōng guǒ rán shì shuāng zǐ 。
When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
先產的身體發紅，渾身有毛，如同皮衣，他們就給他起名叫以掃 。
xiān chǎn de shēn tǐ fā hóng ， hún shēn yǒu máo ， rú tóng pí yī ， tā men jiù gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yǐ sǎo 。
The first came out red all over, like a hairy garment. They named him Esau.
隨後又生了以掃的兄弟，手抓住以掃的腳跟，因此給他起名叫雅各 。利百加生下兩個兒子的時候，以撒年正六十歲。
suí hòu yòu shēng le yǐ sǎo de xiōng dì ， shǒu zhuā zhù yǐ sǎo de jiǎo gēn ， yīn cǐ gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yǎ gè 。 lì bǎi jiā shēng xià liǎng gè ér zi de shí hòu ， yǐ sā nián zhèng liù shí suì 。
After that, his brother came out, and his hand had hold on Esau’s heel. He was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
兩個孩子漸漸長大，以掃善於打獵，常在田野；雅各為人安靜，常住在帳棚裏。
liǎng gè hái zi jiàn jiàn zhǎng dà ， yǐ sǎo shàn yú dǎ liè ， cháng zài tián yě ； yǎ gè wèi rén ān jìng ， cháng zhù zài zhàng péng lǐ 。
The boys grew. Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field. Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.
以撒愛以掃，因為常吃他的野味；利百加卻愛雅各。
yǐ sā ài yǐ sǎo ， yīn wèi cháng chī tā de yě wèi ； lì bǎi jiā què ài yǎ gè 。
Now Isaac loved Esau, because he ate his venison. Rebekah loved Jacob.
有一天，雅各熬湯，以掃從田野回來累昏了。
yǒu yì tiān ， yǎ gè áo tāng ， yǐ sǎo cóng tián yě huí lái lèi hūn le 。
Jacob boiled stew. Esau came in from the field, and he was famished.
以掃對雅各說：「我累昏了，求你把這紅湯給我喝。」因此以掃又叫以東 。
yǐ sǎo duì yǎ gè shuō ：「 wǒ lèi hūn le ， qiú nǐ bǎ zhè hóng tāng gěi wǒ hē 。」 yīn cǐ yǐ sǎo yòu jiào yǐ dōng 。
Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with some of that red stew, for I am famished.” Therefore his name was called Edom.
雅各說：「你今日把長子的名分賣給我吧。」
yǎ gè shuō ：「 nǐ jīn rì bǎ zhǎng zǐ de míng fēn mài gěi wǒ ba 。」
Jacob said, “First, sell me your birthright.”
以掃說：「我將要死，這長子的名分於我有甚麼益處呢？」
yǐ sǎo shuō ：「 wǒ jiāng yào sǐ ， zhè zhǎng zǐ de míng fēn yú wǒ yǒu shén me yì chù ne ？」
Esau said, “Behold, I am about to die. What good is the birthright to me?”
雅各說：「你今日對我起誓吧。」以掃就對他起了誓，把長子的名分賣給雅各。
yǎ gè shuō ：「 nǐ jīn rì duì wǒ qǐ shì ba 。」 yǐ sǎo jiù duì tā qǐ le shì ， bǎ zhǎng zǐ de míng fēn mài gěi yǎ gè 。
Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” He swore to him. He sold his birthright to Jacob.
於是雅各將餅和紅豆湯給了以掃，以掃吃了喝了，便起來走了。這就是以掃輕看了他長子的名分。
yú shì yǎ gè jiāng bǐng hé hóng dòu tāng gěi le yǐ sǎo ， yǐ sǎo chī le hē le ， biàn qǐ lái zǒu le 。 zhè jiù shì yǐ sǎo qīng kàn le tā zhǎng zǐ de míng fēn 。
Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew. He ate and drank, rose up, and went his way. So Esau despised his birthright.
