耶和華上帝說：「那人已經與我們相似，能知道善惡；現在恐怕他伸手又摘生命樹的果子吃，就永遠活着。」
yē hé huá shén shuō ：「 nà rén yǐ jīng yǔ wǒ men xiāng sì ， néng zhī dào shàn è ； xiàn zài kǒng pà tā shēn shǒu yòu zhāi shēng mìng shù de guǒ zǐ chī ， jiù yǒng yuǎn huó zhe 。」
The LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—”
