創世記 33

雅各舉目觀看，見以掃來了，後頭跟着四百人，他就把孩子們分開交給利亞、拉結，和兩個使女，

yǎ gè jǔ mù guān kàn ， jiàn yǐ sǎo lái le ， hòu tou gēn zhe sì bǎi rén ， tā jiù bǎ hái zi men fēn kāi jiāo gěi lì yà 、 lā jié ， hé liǎng gè shǐ nǚ ，

Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau was coming, and with him four hundred men. He divided the children between Leah, Rachel, and the two servants.

並且叫兩個使女和她們的孩子在前頭，利亞和她的孩子在後頭，拉結和約瑟在儘後頭。

bìng qiě jiào liǎng gè shǐ nǚ hé tā men de hái zi zài qián tou ， lì yà hé tā de hái zi zài hòu tou ， lā jié hé yuē sè zài jìn hòu tou 。

He put the servants and their children in front, Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph at the rear.

他自己在他們前頭過去，一連七次俯伏在地才就近他哥哥。

tā zì jǐ zài tā men qián tou guò qù ， yì lián qī cì fǔ fú zài dì cái jiù jìn tā gē ge 。

He himself passed over in front of them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.

以掃跑來迎接他，將他抱住，又摟着他的頸項，與他親嘴，兩個人就哭了。

yǐ sǎo pǎo lái yíng jiē tā ， jiāng tā bào zhù ， yòu lǒu zhe tā de jǐng xiàng ， yǔ tā qīn zuǐ ， liǎng gè rén jiù kū le 。

Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, fell on his neck, kissed him, and they wept.

以掃舉目看見婦人孩子，就說：「這些和你同行的是誰呢？」雅各說：「這些孩子是上帝施恩給你的僕人的。」

yǐ sǎo jǔ mù kàn jiàn fù rén hái zi ， jiù shuō ：「 zhè xiē hé nǐ tóng háng de shì shuí ne ？」 yǎ gè shuō ：「 zhè xiē hái zi shì shén shī ēn gěi nǐ de pú rén de 。」

He lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, “Who are these with you?” He said, “The children whom God has graciously given your servant.”

於是兩個使女和她們的孩子前來下拜；

yú shì liǎng gè shǐ nǚ hé tā men de hái zi qián lái xià bài ；

Then the servants came near with their children, and they bowed themselves.

利亞和她的孩子也前來下拜；隨後約瑟和拉結也前來下拜。

lì yà hé tā de hái zi yě qián lái xià bài ； suí hòu yuē sè hé lā jié yě qián lái xià bài 。

Leah also and her children came near, and bowed themselves. After them, Joseph came near with Rachel, and they bowed themselves.

以掃說：「我所遇見的這些群畜是甚麼意思呢？」雅各說：「是要在我主面前蒙恩的。」

yǐ sǎo shuō ：「 wǒ suǒ yù jiàn de zhè xiē qún chù shì shén me yì sī ne ？」 yǎ gè shuō ：「 shì yào zài wǒ zhǔ miàn qián méng ēn de 。」

Esau said, “What do you mean by all this company which I met?” Jacob said, “To find favor in the sight of my lord.”

以掃說：「兄弟啊，我的已經夠了，你的仍歸你吧！」

yǐ sǎo shuō ：「 xiōng dì a ， wǒ de yǐ jīng gòu le ， nǐ de réng guī nǐ ba ！」

Esau said, “I have enough, my brother; let that which you have be yours.”

雅各說：「不然，我若在你眼前蒙恩，就求你從我手裏收下這禮物；因為我見了你的面，如同見了上帝的面，並且你容納了我。

yǎ gè shuō ：「 bù rán ， wǒ ruò zài nǐ yǎn qián méng ēn ， jiù qiú nǐ cóng wǒ shǒu lǐ shōu xià zhè lǐ wù ； yīn wèi wǒ jiàn le nǐ de miàn ， rú tóng jiàn le shén de miàn ， bìng qiě nǐ róng nà le wǒ 。

Jacob said, “Please, no, if I have now found favor in your sight, then receive my present at my hand, because I have seen your face, as one sees the face of God, and you were pleased with me.

求你收下我帶來給你的禮物；因為上帝恩待我，使我充足。」雅各再三地求他，他才收下了。

qiú nǐ shōu xià wǒ dài lái gěi nǐ de lǐ wù ； yīn wèi shén ēn dài wǒ ， shǐ wǒ chōng zú 。」 yǎ gè zài sān dì qiú tā ， tā cái shōu xià le 。

Please take the gift that I brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” He urged him, and he took it.

以掃說：「我們可以起身前往，我在你前頭走。」

yǐ sǎo shuō ：「 wǒ men kě yǐ qǐ shēn qián wǎng ， wǒ zài nǐ qián tou zǒu 。」

Esau said, “Let’s take our journey, and let’s go, and I will go before you.”

雅各對他說：「我主知道孩子們年幼嬌嫩，牛羊也正在乳養的時候，若是催趕一天，群畜都必死了。

yǎ gè duì tā shuō ：「 wǒ zhǔ zhī dào hái zi men nián yòu jiāo nèn ， niú yáng yě zhèng zài rǔ yǎng de shí hòu ， ruò shì cuī gǎn yì tiān ， qún chù dōu bì sǐ le 。

Jacob said to him, “My lord knows that the children are tender, and that the flocks and herds with me have their young, and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die.

求我主在僕人前頭走，我要量着在我面前群畜和孩子的力量慢慢地前行，直走到西珥我主那裏。」

qiú wǒ zhǔ zài pú rén qián tou zǒu ， wǒ yào liáng zhe zài wǒ miàn qián qún chù hé hái zi de lì liàng màn màn dì qián xíng ， zhí zǒu dào xī ěr wǒ zhǔ nà lǐ 。」

Please let my lord pass over before his servant, and I will lead on gently, according to the pace of the livestock that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir.”

以掃說：「容我把跟隨我的人留幾個在你這裏。」雅各說：「何必呢？只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。」

yǐ sǎo shuō ：「 róng wǒ bǎ gēn suí wǒ de rén liú jǐ gè zài nǐ zhè lǐ 。」 yǎ gè shuō ：「 hé bì ne ？ zhǐ yào zài wǒ zhǔ yǎn qián méng ēn jiù shì le 。」

Esau said, “Let me now leave with you some of the people who are with me.” He said, “Why? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.”

於是，以掃當日起行，回往西珥去了。

yú shì ， yǐ sǎo dāng rì qǐ xíng ， huí wǎng xī ěr qù le 。

So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir.

雅各就往疏割去，在那裏為自己蓋造房屋，又為牲畜搭棚；因此那地方名叫疏割 。

yǎ gè jiù wǎng shū gē qù ， zài nà lǐ wèi zì jǐ gài zào fáng wū ， yòu wèi shēng chù dā péng ； yīn cǐ nà dì fāng míng jiào shū gē 。

Jacob traveled to Succoth, built himself a house, and made shelters for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

雅各從巴旦‧亞蘭回來的時候，平平安安地到了迦南地的示劍城，在城東支搭帳棚，

yǎ gè cóng bā dàn · yà lán huí lái de shí hòu ， píng píng ān ān dì dào le jiā nán dì de shì jiàn chéng ， zài chéng dōng zhī dā zhàng péng ，

Jacob came in peace to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Paddan Aram; and encamped before the city.

就用一百塊銀子向示劍的父親、哈抹的子孫買了支帳棚的那塊地，

jiù yòng yì bǎi kuài yín zi xiàng shì jiàn de fù qīn 、 hā mǒ de zǐ sūn mǎi le zhī zhàng péng de nà kuài dì ，

He bought the parcel of ground where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for one hundred pieces of money.

在那裏築了一座壇，起名叫伊利‧伊羅伊‧以色列 。

zài nà lǐ zhù le yí zuò tán ， qǐ míng jiào yī lì · yī luó yī · yǐ sè liè 。

He erected an altar there, and called it El Elohe Israel.
