創世記 4

有一日，那人和他妻子夏娃同房，夏娃就懷孕，生了該隱 ，便說：「耶和華使我得了一個男子。」

yǒu yí rì ， nà rén hé tā qī zǐ xià wá tóng fáng ， xià wá jiù huái yùn ， shēng le gāi yǐn ， biàn shuō ：「 yē hé huá shǐ wǒ dé le yí gè nán zǐ 。」

The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man with the LORD’s help.”

又生了該隱的兄弟亞伯。亞伯是牧羊的；該隱是種地的。

yòu shēng le gāi yǐn de xiōng dì yà bó 。 yà bó shì mù yáng de ； gāi yǐn shì zhòng dì de 。

Again she gave birth, to Cain’s brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

有一日，該隱拿地裏的出產為供物獻給耶和華；

yǒu yí rì ， gāi yǐn ná dì lǐ de chū chǎn wèi gòng wù xiàn gěi yē hé huá ；

As time passed, Cain brought an offering to the LORD from the fruit of the ground.

亞伯也將他羊群中頭生的和羊的脂油獻上。耶和華看中了亞伯和他的供物，

yà bó yě jiāng tā yáng qún zhōng tóu shēng de hé yáng de zhī yóu xiàn shàng 。 yē hé huá kàn zhòng le yà bó hé tā de gòng wù ，

Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. The LORD respected Abel and his offering,

只是看不中該隱和他的供物。該隱就大大地發怒，變了臉色。

zhǐ shì kàn bù zhōng gāi yǐn hé tā de gòng wù 。 gāi yǐn jiù dà dà dì fā nù ， biàn le liǎn sè 。

but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.

耶和華對該隱說：「你為甚麼發怒呢？你為甚麼變了臉色呢？

yē hé huá duì gāi yǐn shuō ：「 nǐ wèi shén me fā nù ne ？ nǐ wèi shén me biàn le liǎn sè ne ？

The LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?

你若行得好，豈不蒙悅納？你若行得不好，罪就伏在門前。它必戀慕你，你卻要制伏它。」

nǐ ruò xíng dé hǎo ， qǐ bù méng yuè nà ？ nǐ ruò xíng dé bù hǎo ， zuì jiù fú zài mén qián 。 tā bì liàn mù nǐ ， nǐ què yào zhì fú tā 。」

If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”

該隱與他兄弟亞伯說話；二人正在田間。該隱起來打他兄弟亞伯，把他殺了。

gāi yǐn yǔ tā xiōng dì yà bó shuō huà ； èr rén zhèng zài tián jiān 。 gāi yǐn qǐ lái dǎ tā xiōng dì yà bó ， bǎ tā shā le 。

Cain said to Abel, his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.

耶和華對該隱說：「你兄弟亞伯在哪裏？」他說：「我不知道！我豈是看守我兄弟的嗎？」

yē hé huá duì gāi yǐn shuō ：「 nǐ xiōng dì yà bó zài nǎ lǐ ？」 tā shuō ：「 wǒ bù zhī dào ！ wǒ qǐ shì kān shǒu wǒ xiōng dì de ma ？」

The LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel, your brother?” He said, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”

耶和華說：「你做了甚麼事呢？你兄弟的血有聲音從地裏向我哀告。

yē hé huá shuō ：「 nǐ zuò le shén me shì ne ？ nǐ xiōng dì de xuè yǒu shēng yīn cóng dì lǐ xiàng wǒ āi gào 。

The LORD said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.

地開了口，從你手裏接受你兄弟的血。現在你必從這地受咒詛。

dì kāi le kǒu ， cóng nǐ shǒu lǐ jiē shòu nǐ xiōng dì de xuè 。 xiàn zài nǐ bì cóng zhè dì shòu zhòu zǔ 。

Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

你種地，地不再給你效力；你必流離飄蕩在地上。」

nǐ zhòng dì ， dì bú zài gěi nǐ xiào lì ； nǐ bì liú lí piāo dàng zài dì shàng 。」

From now on, when you till the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”

該隱對耶和華說：「我的刑罰太重，過於我所能當的。

gāi yǐn duì yē hé huá shuō ：「 wǒ de xíng fá tài zhòng ， guò yú wǒ suǒ néng dāng de 。

Cain said to the LORD, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.

你如今趕逐我離開這地，以致不見你面；我必流離飄蕩在地上，凡遇見我的必殺我。」

nǐ rú jīn gǎn zhú wǒ lí kāi zhè dì ， yǐ zhì bú jiàn nǐ miàn ； wǒ bì liú lí piāo dàng zài dì shàng ， fán yù jiàn wǒ de bì shā wǒ 。」

Behold, you have driven me out today from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me.”

耶和華對他說：「凡殺該隱的，必遭報七倍。」耶和華就給該隱立一個記號，免得人遇見他就殺他。

yē hé huá duì tā shuō ：「 fán shā gāi yǐn de ， bì zāo bào qī bèi 。」 yē hé huá jiù gěi gāi yǐn lì yí gè jì hào ， miǎn de rén yù jiàn tā jiù shā tā 。

The LORD said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” The LORD appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.

於是該隱離開耶和華的面，去住在伊甸東邊挪得之地。

yú shì gāi yǐn lí kāi yē hé huá de miàn ， qù zhù zài yī diàn dōng biān nuó dé zhī dì 。

Cain left the LORD’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

該隱與妻子同房，他妻子就懷孕，生了以諾。該隱建造了一座城，就按着他兒子的名將那城叫做以諾。

gāi yǐn yǔ qī zǐ tóng fáng ， tā qī zǐ jiù huái yùn ， shēng le yǐ nuò 。 gāi yǐn jiàn zào le yí zuò chéng ， jiù àn zhe tā ér zi de míng jiàng nà chéng jiào zuò yǐ nuò 。

Cain knew his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Enoch. He built a city, and named the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

以諾生以拿；以拿生米戶雅利；米戶雅利生瑪土撒利；瑪土撒利生拉麥。

yǐ nuò shēng yǐ ná ； yǐ ná shēng mǐ hù yǎ lì ； mǐ hù yǎ lì shēng mǎ tǔ sā lì ； mǎ tǔ sā lì shēng lā mài 。

Irad was born to Enoch. Irad became the father of Mehujael. Mehujael became the father of Methushael. Methushael became the father of Lamech.

拉麥娶了兩個妻：一個名叫亞大，一個名叫洗拉。

lā mài qǔ le liǎng gè qī ： yí gè míng jiào yà dà ， yí gè míng jiào xǐ lā 。

Lamech took two wives: the name of the first one was Adah, and the name of the second one was Zillah.

亞大生雅八；雅八就是住帳棚、牧養牲畜之人的祖師。

yà dà shēng yǎ bā ； yǎ bā jiù shì zhù zhàng péng 、 mù yǎng shēng chù zhī rén de zǔ shī 。

Adah gave birth to Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock.

雅八的兄弟名叫猶八；他是一切彈琴吹簫之人的祖師。

yǎ bā de xiōng dì míng jiào yóu bā ； tā shì yí qiè tán qín chuī xiāo zhī rén de zǔ shī 。

His brother’s name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.

洗拉又生了土八‧該隱；他是打造各樣銅鐵利器的 。土八‧該隱的妹子是拿瑪。

xǐ lā yòu shēng le tǔ bā · gāi yǐn ； tā shì dǎ zào gè yàng tóng tiě lì qì de 。 tǔ bā · gāi yǐn de mèi zǐ shì ná mǎ 。

Zillah also gave birth to Tubal Cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of bronze and iron. Tubal Cain’s sister was Naamah.

拉麥對他兩個妻子說： 亞大、洗拉，聽我的聲音； 拉麥的妻子，細聽我的話語： 壯年人傷我，我把他殺了； 少年人損我，我把他害了 。

lā mài duì tā liǎng gè qī zǐ shuō ： yà dà 、 xǐ lā ， tīng wǒ de shēng yīn ； lā mài de qī zǐ ， xì tīng wǒ de huà yǔ ： zhuàng nián rén shāng wǒ ， wǒ bǎ tā shā le ； shào nián rén sǔn wǒ ， wǒ bǎ tā hài le 。

Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, hear my voice. You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech, for I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for bruising me.

若殺該隱，遭報七倍， 殺拉麥，必遭報七十七倍。

ruò shā gāi yǐn ， zāo bào qī bèi ， shā lā mài ， bì zāo bào qī shí qī bèi 。

If Cain will be avenged seven times, truly Lamech seventy-seven times.”

亞當又與妻子同房，她就生了一個兒子，起名叫塞特，意思說：「上帝另給我立了一個兒子代替亞伯，因為該隱殺了他。」

yà dāng yòu yǔ qī zǐ tóng fáng ， tā jiù shēng le yí gè ér zi ， qǐ míng jiào sāi tè ， yì sī shuō ：「 shén lìng gěi wǒ lì le yí gè ér zi dài tì yà bó ， yīn wèi gāi yǐn shā le tā 。」

Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”

塞特也生了一個兒子，起名叫以挪士。那時候，人才求告耶和華的名。

sāi tè yě shēng le yí gè ér zi ， qǐ míng jiào yǐ nuó shì 。 nà shí hòu ， rén cái qiú gào yē hé huá de míng 。

A son was also born to Seth, and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call on the LORD’s name.
