雅各書 4

你們中間的爭戰鬥毆是從哪裏來的呢？不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的嗎？

nǐ men zhōng jiān de zhēng zhàn dòu ōu shì cóng nǎ lǐ lái de ne ？ bú shì cóng nǐ men bǎi tǐ zhōng zhàn dòu zhī sī yù lái de ma ？

Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don’t they come from your pleasures that war in your members?

你們貪戀，還是得不着；你們殺害嫉妒，又鬥毆爭戰，也不能得。你們得不着，是因為你們不求。

nǐ men tān liàn ， hái shì dé bù zhe ； nǐ men shā hài jí dù ， yòu dòu ōu zhēng zhàn ， yě bù néng dé 。 nǐ men dé bù zhe ， shì yīn wèi nǐ men bù qiú 。

You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask.

你們求也得不着，是因為你們妄求，要浪費在你們的宴樂中。

nǐ men qiú yě dé bù zhe ， shì yīn wèi nǐ men wàng qiú ， yào làng fèi zài nǐ men de yàn lè zhōng 。

You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

你們這些淫亂的人 哪，豈不知與世俗為友就是與上帝為敵嗎？所以凡想要與世俗為友的，就是與上帝為敵了。

nǐ men zhè xiē yín luàn de rén nǎ ， qǐ bù zhī yǔ shì sú wèi yǒu jiù shì yǔ shén wèi dí ma ？ suǒ yǐ fán xiǎng yào yǔ shì sú wèi yǒu de ， jiù shì yǔ shén wèi dí le 。

You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

你們想經上所說是徒然的嗎？上帝所賜、住在我們裏面的靈，是戀愛至於嫉妒嗎？

nǐ men xiǎng jīng shàng suǒ shuō shì tú rán de ma ？ shén suǒ cì 、 zhù zài wǒ men lǐ miàn de líng ， shì liàn ài zhì yú jí dù ma ？

Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously”?

但他賜更多的恩典，所以經上說： 上帝阻擋驕傲的人， 賜恩給謙卑的人。

dàn tā cì gèng duō de ēn diǎn ， suǒ yǐ jīng shàng shuō ： shén zǔ dǎng jiāo ào de rén ， cì ēn gěi qiān bēi de rén 。

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

故此，你們要順服上帝。務要抵擋魔鬼，魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。

gù cǐ ， nǐ men yào shùn fú shén 。 wù yào dǐ dǎng mó guǐ ， mó guǐ jiù bì lí kāi nǐ men táo pǎo le 。

Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

你們親近上帝，上帝就必親近你們。有罪的人哪，要潔淨你們的手！心懷二意的人哪，要清潔你們的心！

nǐ men qīn jìn shén ， shén jiù bì qīn jìn nǐ men 。 yǒu zuì de rén nǎ ， yào jié jìng nǐ men de shǒu ！ xīn huái èr yì de rén nǎ ， yào qīng jié nǐ men de xīn ！

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.

你們要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣，將喜笑變作悲哀，歡樂變作愁悶。

nǐ men yào chóu kǔ 、 bēi āi 、 kū qì ， jiāng xǐ xiào biàn zuò bēi āi ， huān lè biàn zuò chóu mèn 。

Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

務要在主面前自卑，主就必叫你們升高。

wù yào zài zhǔ miàn qián zì bēi ， zhǔ jiù bì jiào nǐ men shēng gāo 。

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

弟兄們，你們不可彼此批評。人若批評弟兄，論斷弟兄，就是批評律法，論斷律法。你若論斷律法，就不是遵行律法，乃是判斷人的。

dì xiong men ， nǐ men bù kě bǐ cǐ pī píng 。 rén ruò pī píng dì xiong ， lùn duàn dì xiong ， jiù shì pī píng lǜ fǎ ， lùn duàn lǜ fǎ 。 nǐ ruò lùn duàn lǜ fǎ ， jiù bú shì zūn xíng lǜ fǎ ， nǎi shì pàn duàn rén de 。

Don’t speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

設立律法和判斷人的，只有一位，就是那能救人也能滅人的。你是誰，竟敢論斷別人呢？

shè lì lǜ fǎ hé pàn duàn rén de ， zhǐ yǒu yí wèi ， jiù shì nà néng jiù rén yě néng miè rén de 。 nǐ shì shuí ， jìng gǎn lùn duàn bié rén ne ？

Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

嗐！你們有話說：「今天明天我們要往某城裏去，在那裏住一年，做買賣得利。」

hài ！ nǐ men yǒu huà shuō ：「 jīn tiān míng tiān wǒ men yào wǎng mǒu chéng lǐ qù ， zài nà lǐ zhù yì nián ， zuò mǎi mài dé lì 。」

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”

其實明天如何，你們還不知道。你們的生命是甚麼呢？你們原來是一片雲霧，出現少時就不見了。

qí shí míng tiān rú hé ， nǐ men hái bù zhī dào 。 nǐ men de shēng mìng shì shén me ne ？ nǐ men yuán lái shì yí piàn yún wù ， chū xiàn shǎo shí jiù bú jiàn le 。

Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

你們只當說：「主若願意，我們就可以活着，也可以做這事，或做那事。」

nǐ men zhǐ dāng shuō ：「 zhǔ ruò yuàn yì ， wǒ men jiù kě yǐ huó zhe ， yě kě yǐ zuò zhè shì ， huò zuò nà shì 。」

For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.”

現今你們竟以張狂誇口；凡這樣誇口都是惡的。

xiàn jīn nǐ men jìng yǐ zhāng kuáng kuā kǒu ； fán zhè yàng kuā kǒu dōu shì è de 。

But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.

人若知道行善，卻不去行，這就是他的罪了。

rén ruò zhī dào heng shàn ， què bú qù xíng ， zhè jiù shì tā de zuì le 。

To him therefore who knows to do good and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.
